المَزامِير 87

١ 1 مَزْمُورٌ لِبَنِي قُورَحَ. تَسْبِيحَةٌ أَسَّسَ اللهُ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ.

A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

٢ 2 أَحَبَّ الرَّبُّ أَبْوَابَ صِهْيَوْنَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَسَاكِنِ بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ.

The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

٣ 3 يَتَحَدَّثُونَ عَنْكِ بِأُمُورٍ مَجِيدَةٍ يَا مَدِينَةَ اللهِ.

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)

٤ 4 أَذْكُرُ مِصْرَ وَبَابِلَ بَيْنَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَنِي، وَكَذَلِكَ فَلَسْطِينَ وَصُورَ مَعَ الْحَبَشَةِ، فَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا وُلِدَ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ.

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.

٥ 5 حَقّاً عَنْ صِهْيَوْنَ يَقُولُونَ: «هَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وَهَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وُلِدَ فِيهَا، وَالْعَلِيُّ يُثَبِّتُهَا».

Yea, of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; and the Most High himself shall establish her.

٦ 6 يُدَوِّنُ الرَّبُّ فِي سِجِلِّ إِحْصَاءِ الشُّعُوبِ أَنَّ هَذَا وُلِدَ هُنَاكَ.

The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the peoples, this one was born there. (Selah)

٧ 7 الْمُرَنِّمُونَ وَالْعَازِفُونَ عَلَى السَّوَاءِ يَقُولُونَ: «فِيكِ كُلُّ يَنَابِيعِ سُرُورِي».

They that sing as well as they that dance [shall say], All my fountains are in thee.
