المَزامِير 77

١ 1 لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى يَدُوثُونَ. لآسَافَ. مَزْمُورٌ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْفَعُ صَوْتِي، إِلَى اللهِ أَصْرُخُ فَيُصْغِي إِلَيَّ.

“To the chief musician on Jeduthun, by Assaph a psalm.” [I lift up] my voice unto God, and I cry; [I lilt up] my voice unto God: do then give ear unto me.

٢ 2 فِي يَوْمِ ضِيقِي طَلَبْتُ الرَّبَّ. انْبَسَطَتْ يَدِي طُولَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمْ تَكِلَّ. أَبَتْ نَفْسِي الْعَزَاءَ.

On the day of my distress I sought the Lord; in the night my hand was stretched out, and did not cease: my soul refused to be comforted.

٣ 3 أَذْكُرُ الرَّبَّ فَأَتَنَهَّدُ، أُنَاجِي نَفْسِي فَيُغْشَى عَلَى رُوحِي.

I think of God, and moan: I reflect, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)

٤ 4 أَمْسَكْتَ أَجْفَانِي عَنِ النَّوْمِ. اعْتَرَانِي الْقَلَقُ فَعَجَزْتُ عَنِ الْكَلامِ.

Thou holdest my eyes awake: I am troubled and I cannot speak.

٥ 5 فَكَّرْتُ فِي الأَيَّامِ الْقَدِيمَةِ وَفِي السِّنِينَ السَّحِيقَةِ.

I think over the days of old, the years of ancient times.

٦ 6 فِي اللَّيْلِ أَتَذَكَّرُ تَرْنِيمِي، وَأُنَاجِي قَلْبِي، وَتَجِدُّ فِي الْبَحْثِ نَفْسِي.

I call to remembrance my song in the night; with my own heart I reflect: and my spirit maketh diligent search.

٧ 7 هَلْ إِلَى الأَبَدِ يَرْفُضُنَا الرَّبُّ وَلَا يَرْضَى عَنَّا أَبَداً؟

Will the Lord cast me off for ever? and will he never more give his favor again?

٨ 8 هَلِ انْتَهَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ؟ هَلِ انْقَطَعَتْ عَنَّا مَوَاعِيدُهُ؟

Is his kindness spent for ever? is his promise come to an end for all generations?

٩ 9 أَلَعَلَّ اللهَ نَسِيَ رَأْفَتَهُ؟ أَمْ حَبَسَ بِغَضَبٍ مَرَاحِمَهُ؟

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he shut up in anger his mercies? (Selah)

١٠ 10 ثُمَّ قُلْتُ: «هَذَا يُسْقِمُنِي: أَنَّ يَمِينَ اللهِ الْعَلِيِّ قَدْ تَحَوَّلَتْ (عَنَّا).»

And I said, This shall be my entreaty, [for] the years of the right hand of the Most High.

١١ 11 أَذْكُرُ أَعْمَالَكَ يَا رَبُّ. أَذْكُرُ عَجَائِبَكَ الَّتِي عَمِلْتَهَا فِي الْقَدِيمِ،

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; for I will remember out of ancient times thy wonders.

١٢ 12 وَأَتَأَمَّلُ جَمِيعَ أَفْعَالِكَ وَأُنَاجِي بِكُلِّ مَا صَنَعْتَهُ.

I will meditate also of all thy work, and on thy deeds will I reflect.

١٣ 13 يَا اللهُ، إِنَّ طَرِيقَكَ هِيَ الْقَدَاسَةُ، فَأَيُّ إِلَهٍ عَظِيمٌ مِثْلُ اللهِ؟

O God, in holiness is thy way: where is there a god so great as God?

١٤ 14 أَنْتَ الإِلَهُ الصَّانِعُ الْعَجَائِبَ، وَقَدْ أَعْلَنْتَ قُوَّتَكَ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ.

Thou art the God that dost wonders: thou hast made known among the people thy strength.

١٥ 15 بِذِرَاعِكَ القَدِيرَةِ افْتَدَيْتَ شَعْبَكَ بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ وَيُوسُفَ.

Thou hast redeemed with [a mighty] arm thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)

١٦ 16 رَأَتْكَ الْمِيَاهُ يَا اللهُ فَارْتَجَفَتْ وَاضْطَرَبَتْ أَعْمَاقُهَا أَيْضاً.

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they shook: also the depths trembled.

١٧ 17 سَكَبَتِ الْغُيُومُ مَاءً وَأَرْعَدَتِ السُّحُبُ، وَتَطَايَرَتْ سِهَامُكَ.

The clouds poured out water; the skies sent forth thunder: also thy arrows sped along.

١٨ 18 (زَأَرَ) صَوْتُ رَعْدِكَ فِي الزَّوْبَعَةِ، فَأَضَاءَتِ الْبُرُوقُ الْمَسْكُونَةَ، وَارْتَعَدَتِ الأَرْضُ وَاهْتَزَّتْ.

The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; lightnings gave light to the world; the earth trembled and quaked,

١٩ 19 إِنَّمَا فِي الْبَحْرِ طَرِيقُكَ، وَمَسَالِكُكَ فِي الْمِيَاهِ الْغَامِرَةِ، وَآثَارُ خُطْوَاتِكَ لَا تُتَقَصَّى.

Through the sea led thy way, and thy path was through mighty waters, and thy footsteps could not be known.

٢٠ 20 هَدَيْتَ شَعْبَكَ كَقَطِيعٍ عَلَى يَدِ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ.

Thou didst lead like a flock thy people by means of Moses and Aaron.
