المَزامِير 70

١ 1 لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ. لِلتَّذْكِيرِ هَلُمَّ أَنْقِذْنِي يَا رَبُّ، وَأَسْرِعْ إِلَى مَعُونَتِي.

For the Leader. A Psalm of David; to make memorial. O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.

٢ 2 لِيَخْزَ وَيَخْجَلِ السَّاعُونَ إِلَى قَتْلِي. لِيَرْتَدَّ وَيَخْجَلِ السَّاعُونَ لأَذِيَّتِي.

Let them be ashamed and abashed that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt.

٣ 3 لِيَرْجِعِ السَّاخِرُونَ مِنِّي مُكَلَّلِينَ بِالْعَارِ.

Let them be turned back by reason of their shame that say: 'Aha, aha.'

٤ 4 لِيَفْرَحْ وَيَبْتَهِجْ بِكَ جَمِيعُ طَالِبِيكَ. وَلْيَقُلْ دَائِماً مُحِبُّو خَلاصِكَ: لِيَتَعَظَّمِ الرَّبُّ.

Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'

٥ 5 إِنَّمَا أَنَا مُتَضَايِقٌ وَمُحْتَاجٌ، فَأَسْرِعِ الْلَهُمَّ إِلَيَّ. أَنْتَ عَوْنِي وَمُنْقِذِي. يَا رَبُّ لَا تَتَبَاطَأْ.

But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.
