المَزامِير 66

١ 1 لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ. تَسْبِيحَةٌ. مَزْمُورٌ اهْتِفِي لِلهِ يَا كُلَّ الأَرْضِ.

For the end, a Song of Psalm of resurrection. Shout to God, all the earth.

٢ 2 تَرَنَّمُوا بِعَظَمَةِ اسْمِهِ وَاجْعَلُوا تَسْبِيحَهُ مَجِيداً.

O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.

٣ 3 قُولُوا لِلهِ: «مَا أَرْوَعَ أَعْمَالَكَ». يَتَمَلَّقُكَ أَعْدَاؤُكَ لأَنَّ قُوَّتَكَ عَظِيمَةٌ.

Say to God, How awful are your works! through the greatness of your power your enemies shall lie to you.

٤ 4 كُلُّ الأَرْضِ تَسْجُدُ لَكَ وَتُسَبِّحُكَ. الْجَمِيعُ يَلْهَجُونَ بِاسْمِكَ.

Let all the earth worship you, and sing to you; let them sing to your name. (Pause)

٥ 5 تَعَالَوْا انْظُرُوا أَعْمَالَ اللهِ وَأَفْعَالَهُ الْمُرْهِبَةَ مَعَ بَنِي آدَمَ.

Come and behold the works of God; [he is] terrible in [his] counsels beyond the children of men.

٦ 6 حَوَّلَ الْبَحْرَ أَرْضاً يَابِسَةً، وَاجْتَازُوا فِي النَّهْرِ بِأَقْدَامِهِمْ. هُنَاكَ فَرِحْنَا بِهِ.

Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,

٧ 7 يَحْكُمُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ بِقُوَّتِهِ، وَعَيْنَاهُ تُرَاقِبَانِ الأُمَمَ، فَلَا يَتَشَامَخُ الْمُتَمَرِّدُونَ.

who by his power is Lord over the age, his eyes look upon the nations; let not them that provoke [him] be exalted in themselves. (Pause)

٨ 8 أَيُّهَا الشُّعُوبُ بَارِكُوا إِلَهَنَا. ارْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ بِالتَّسْبِيحِ.

Bless our God, you Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;

٩ 9 هُوَ الَّذِي اسْتَحْيَانَا، وَلَمْ يَدَعْ أَرْجُلَنَا تَزِلُّ.

who quickens my soul in life, and does not suffer my feet to be moved.

١٠ 10 فَإِنَّكَ قَدِ اخْتَبَرْتَنَا يَا اللهُ، فَنَقَّيْتَنَا كَمَا تُنَقَّى الْفِضَّةُ.

For you, O God, has proved us; you have tried us with fire as silver is tried.

١١ 11 أَوْقَعْتَنَا فِي الشَّبَكَةِ وَأَلْقَيْتَ حِمْلاً ثَقِيلاً عَلَى ظُهُورِنَا.

You brought us into the snare; you laid afflictions on our back.

١٢ 12 سَلَّطْتَ أُنَاساً عَلَيْنَا. اجْتَزْنَا فِي النَّارِ وَالْمَاءِ، وَلَكِنَّكَ أَخْرَجْتَنَا إِلَى أَرَاضٍ خَصِيبَةٍ.

You did mount men upon our heads; we went through the fire and water; but you brought us out into [a place of] refreshment.

١٣ 13 أَدْخُلُ إِلَى بَيْتِكَ بِمُحْرَقَاتٍ وَأُوْفِيكَ نُذُورِي

I will go into your house with whole burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows,

١٤ 14 الَّتِي نَطَقَتْ بِها شَفَتَايَ فِي وَقْتِ ضِيقِي، وَتَكَلَّمَ بِها فَمِي فِي بَلِيَّتِي.

which my lips framed, and my mouth uttered in my affliction.

١٥ 15 أُقَرِّبُ لَكَ مُحْرَقَاتٍ سَمِينَةً مِنْ كِبَاشٍ مَعَ بَخُورٍ. أُقَدِّمُ بَقَراً مَعَ تُيُوسٍ.

I will offer to you whole burnt sacrifices full of marrow, with incense and rams; I will sacrifice to you oxen with goats. (Pause)

١٦ 16 تَعَالَوْا اسْمَعُوا يَا جَمِيعَ خَائِفِي اللهِ، فَأُحَدِّثَكُمْ بِمَا فَعَلَ لِنَفْسِي.

Come, hear, and I will tell, all you that fear God, how great things he has done for my soul.

١٧ 17 صَرَخْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِفَمِي وَعَظَّمْتُهُ بِلِسَانِي.

I cried to him with my mouth, and exalted him with my tongue.

١٨ 18 إِنْ تَعَهَّدْتُ إِثْماً فِي قَلْبِي لَا يَسْتَمِعُ لِيَ الرَّبُّ.

If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, let not the Lord listen [to me].

١٩ 19 وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ قَدِ اسْتَجَابَ لِي. أَصْغَى إِلَى صَوْتِ صَلاتِي.

Therefore God has listened to me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

٢٠ 20 تَبَارَكَ اللهُ الَّذِي لَمْ يُقْصِ عَنْهُ صَلاتِي، وَلَا حَجَبَ عَنِّي رَحْمَتَهُ.

Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
