| لِدَاوُدَ قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ يَا أَبْنَاءَ اللهِ، قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً وَعِزّاً. | ١ 1 |
“A psalm of David.” Give to Jehovah, O ye sons of God! Give to Jehovah glory and praise!
| قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً لاِسْمِهِ. اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّبِّ بِثَوْبِ الإِجْلالِ وَالْقَدَاسَةِ. | ٢ 2 |
Give to Jehovah the glory due to his name; Worship Jehovah in holy attire!
| هُوَذَا صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُدَوِّي فَوْقَ الْمِيَاهِ. إِلَهُ الْمَجْدِ أَرْعَدَ. مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ فَوْقَ الْمِيَاهِ الْغَزِيرَةِ. | ٣ 3 |
The voice of Jehovah is heard above the waters; The God of glory thundereth, -Jehovah above the great waters.
| صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ قَوِيٌّ جِدّاً. صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَفِيضُ بِالْجَلالِ. | ٤ 4 |
The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty;
| صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُكَسِّرُ شَجَرَ الأَرْزِ. نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ يُكَسِّرُ أَرْزَ لُبْنَانَ. | ٥ 5 |
The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon;
| فَيَجْعَلُ لُبْنَانَ يَفِرُّ كَالْعِجْلِ، وَجَبَلَ حَرْمُونَ يَقْفِزُ كَالثَّوْرِ الْوَحْشِيِّ الْفَتِيِّ. | ٦ 6 |
Yea, he maketh them to leap like a calf, —Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.
| صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَقْدَحُ وَمِيضَ بَرْقٍ، | ٧ 7 |
The voice of Jehovah divideth the flames of fire.
| صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُزَلْزِلُ الْبَرِّيَّةَ، وَيُزَلْزِلُ الرَّبُّ بَرِّيَّةَ قَادِشَ، | ٨ 8 |
The voice of Jehovah maketh the wilderness tremble; Yea, Jehovah maketh the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.
| صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَجْعَلُ الْوُعُولَ تَلِدُ قَبْلَ الأَوَانِ، وَيُحَوِّلُ الْغَابَاتِ إِلَى عَرَاءٍ، وَفِي هَيْكَلِهِ الْكُلُّ يَهْتِفُ: مَجْداً. | ٩ 9 |
The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds bring forth, And layeth bare the forests; While, in his palace, every one declareth his glory.
| جَلَسَ الرَّبُّ مَلِكاً فَوْقَ الطُّوفَانِ، وَيَتَرَبَّعُ عَلَى عَرْشِهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. | ١٠ 10 |
Jehovah sitteth above the flood; Yea, Jehovah sitteth king for ever.
| الرَّبُّ يُعْطِي شَعْبَهُ عِزّاً. الرَّبُّ يُبَارِكُ شَعْبَهُ بِالسَّلامِ. | ١١ 11 |
Jehovah will give strength to his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
