المَزامِير 29

١ 1 لِدَاوُدَ قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ يَا أَبْنَاءَ اللهِ، قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً وَعِزّاً.

A Psalm of David [on the occasion] of the solemn assembly of the Tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, ye sons of God, bring to the Lord young rams; bring to the Lord glory and honour.

٢ 2 قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً لاِسْمِهِ. اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّبِّ بِثَوْبِ الإِجْلالِ وَالْقَدَاسَةِ.

Bring to the Lord glory, [due] to his name; worship the lord in his holy court.

٣ 3 هُوَذَا صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُدَوِّي فَوْقَ الْمِيَاهِ. إِلَهُ الْمَجْدِ أَرْعَدَ. مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ فَوْقَ الْمِيَاهِ الْغَزِيرَةِ.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters.

٤ 4 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ قَوِيٌّ جِدّاً. صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَفِيضُ بِالْجَلالِ.

The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

٥ 5 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُكَسِّرُ شَجَرَ الأَرْزِ. نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ يُكَسِّرُ أَرْزَ لُبْنَانَ.

[There is] the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.

٦ 6 فَيَجْعَلُ لُبْنَانَ يَفِرُّ كَالْعِجْلِ، وَجَبَلَ حَرْمُونَ يَقْفِزُ كَالثَّوْرِ الْوَحْشِيِّ الْفَتِيِّ.

And he will beat them small, [even] Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn.

٧ 7 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَقْدَحُ وَمِيضَ بَرْقٍ،

[There is] a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.

٨ 8 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُزَلْزِلُ الْبَرِّيَّةَ، وَيُزَلْزِلُ الرَّبُّ بَرِّيَّةَ قَادِشَ،

A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness; the Lord will shake the wilderness of Cades.

٩ 9 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَجْعَلُ الْوُعُولَ تَلِدُ قَبْلَ الأَوَانِ، وَيُحَوِّلُ الْغَابَاتِ إِلَى عَرَاءٍ، وَفِي هَيْكَلِهِ الْكُلُّ يَهْتِفُ: مَجْداً.

The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds, and will uncover the thickets: and in his temple every one speaks [of his] glory.

١٠ 10 جَلَسَ الرَّبُّ مَلِكاً فَوْقَ الطُّوفَانِ، وَيَتَرَبَّعُ عَلَى عَرْشِهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

The Lord will dwell on the waterflood: and the Lord will sit a king for ever.

١١ 11 الرَّبُّ يُعْطِي شَعْبَهُ عِزّاً. الرَّبُّ يُبَارِكُ شَعْبَهُ بِالسَّلامِ.

The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
