المَزامِير 28
| لِدَاوُدَ يَا رَبُّ إِلَيْكَ أَصْرُخُ، فَلَا تَتَصَامَمْ عَنِّي يَا صَخْرَتِي، لِئَلّا أَكُونَ، إِذَا سَكَتَّ عَنِّي، مِثْلَ الْمُنْحَدِرِينَ إِلَى الْهَاوِيَةِ. | ١ 1 |
“A psalm of David.” To thee do I cry, O LORD! O my rock! be not silent to me, Lest, if thou answer me not, I become like those who go down to the pit!
| اسْتَمِعْ صَوْتَ تَضَرُّعِي عِنْدَمَا أَسْتَغِيثُ بِكَ، رَافِعاً يَدَيَّ نَحْوَ مِحْرَابِ قَدَاسَتِكَ. | ٢ 2 |
Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands to thy most holy sanctuary!
| لَا تَطْرَحْنِي مَعَ الأَشْرَارِ وَفَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ، الَّذِينَ يُظْهِرُونَ الْوُدَّ لأَصْحَابِهِمْ، وَهُمْ يَكُنُّونَ لَهُمُ الشَّرَّ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ. | ٣ 3 |
Draw me not away with the impious, and with evil-doers, Who speak peace to their neighbors, while mischief is in their hearts!
| جَازِهِمْ وَفْقاً لِفِعْلِهِمْ وَشَرِّ أَعْمَالِهِمْ. أَعْطِهِمْ مَا يَسْتَحِقُّ صَنِيعُ أَيْدِيهِمْ، وَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ جَزَاءَهُمْ. | ٤ 4 |
Give them according to their deeds, and the wickedness of their doings; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them their desert!
| وَلأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُبَالُونَ بِأَفْعَالِ الرَّبِّ وَلَا بِصَنِيعِ يَدَيْهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُدَمِّرُهُمْ وَلَا يُعِيدُ بِنَاءَهُمْ. | ٥ 5 |
For they regard not the doings of the LORD, nor the work of his hands; Therefore will he destroy them, and not again build them up.
| مُبَارَكٌ الرَّبُّ فَقَدْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ تَضَرُّعِي. | ٦ 6 |
Praised be the LORD, for he hath heard the voice of my supplications!
| الرَّبُّ قُوَّتِي وَتُرْسِي. عَلَيْهِ اتَّكَلَ قَلْبِي، فَنِلْتُ الْغَوْثَ. لِذَلِكَ يَبْتَهِجُ قَلْبِي وَأَحْمَدُهُ بِنَشِيدِي. | ٧ 7 |
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusteth in him, and he helpeth me; Therefore doth my heart exult, And in my song I will praise him.
| الرَّبُّ قُوَّةُ شَعْبِهِ، وَهُوَ حِصْنُ خَلاصِ مَسِيحِهِ. | ٨ 8 |
Jehovah is the strength of his people; He is the protecting shield of his anointed.
| خَلِّصْ يَا رَبُّ شَعْبَكَ وَبَارِكْ مِيرَاثَكَ. كُنْ رَاعِياً لَهُمْ وَاحْمِلْهُمْ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. | ٩ 9 |
Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance; Feed them also, and build them up for ever!
