المَزامِير 146

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا! سَبِّحِي يَا نَفْسِي الرَّبَّ.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise thou the Lord, O my soule.

٢ 2 أُسَبِّحُ الرَّبَّ مَادُمْتُ حَيًّا، وَأَشْدُو لإِلَهِي مَادُمْتُ مَوْجُوداً.

I will prayse the Lord during my life: as long as I haue any being, I wil sing vnto my God.

٣ 3 لَا تَتَوَكَّلُوا عَلَى الرُّؤَسَاءِ، وَلَا عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الَّذِي لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَكُمْ.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the sonne of man, for there is none helpe in him.

٤ 4 تَنْطَلِقُ رُوحُهُ مِنْهُ فَيَعُودُ إِلَى تُرَابِهِ، وَآنَئِذٍ تَنْدَثِرُ تَدَابِيرُهُ.

His breath departeth, and he returneth to his earth: then his thoughtes perish.

٥ 5 طُوبَى لِمَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ مُعِينَهُ، وَرَجَاؤُهُ فِي الرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ،

Blessed is he, that hath the God of Iaakob for his helpe, whose hope is in the Lord his God.

٦ 6 خَالِقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَالْبَحْرِ وَكُلِّ مَا فِيهَا، الأَمِينِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

Which made heauen and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth his fidelitie for euer:

٧ 7 مُنْصِفِ الْمَظْلُومِينَ وَرَازِقِ الْجِيَاعِ طَعَاماً. يُحَرِّرُ الرَّبُّ الْمَأْسُورِينَ.

Which executeth iustice for the oppressed: which giueth bread to the hungry: the Lord loseth the prisoners.

٨ 8 الرَّبُّ يَفْتَحُ أَعْيُنَ الْعُمْيِ. الرَّبُّ يُنْهِضُ الْمُنْحَنِينَ. الرَّبُّ يُحِبُّ الصِّدِّيقِينَ.

The Lord giueth sight to the blinde: the Lord rayseth vp the crooked: the Lord loueth the righteous.

٩ 9 الرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ الْغُرَبَاءَ، يَعْضُدُ الْيَتَامَى وَالأَرَامِلَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يُحْبِطُ مَسَاعِيَ الأَشْرَارِ.

The Lord keepeth the strangers: he relieueth the fatherlesse and widowe: but he ouerthroweth the way of the wicked.

١٠ 10 الرَّبُّ يَمْلِكُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. يَمْلِكُ إِلَهُكِ يَا صِهْيَوْنُ مِنْ جِيلٍ إِلَى جِيلٍ. هَلِّلُويَا.

The Lord shall reigne for euer: O Zion, thy God endureth from generation to generation. Prayse ye the Lord.
