المَزامِير 140
| لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ أَنْقِذْنِي يَا رَبُّ مِنَ الأَشْرَارِ وَاحْفَظْنِي مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ، | ١ 1 |
To the choirmaster a psalm of David. Rescue me O Yahweh from a man evil from a man of violence you will preserve me.
| الَّذِينَ يَنْوُونَ عَلَى الشَّرِّ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَيُثِيرُونَ الْحَرْبَ دَائِماً، | ٢ 2 |
[those] who They plan evil things in [the] heart every day they stir up trouble wars.
| سَنُّوا أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ كَالْحَيَّةِ، وَسُمُّ الأَصْلالِ تَحْتَ شِفَاهِهِمْ. | ٣ 3 |
They sharpen tongue their like a snake [the] venom of a viper [is] under lips their (Selah)
| احْمِنِي يَا رَبُّ مِنْ قَبْضَةِ الشِّرِّيرِ، وَأَنْقِذْنِي مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ الْمُتَآمِرِينَ عَلَى عَرْقَلَةِ خُطْوَاتِي. | ٤ 4 |
Keep me O Yahweh - from [the] hands of [the] wicked from a man of violence you will preserve me [those] who they have planned to trip up footsteps my.
| أَخْفَى لِي الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ فَخّاً، وَنَشَرُوا شَبَكَةً بِجَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَنَصَبُوا لِي أَشْرَاكاً. | ٥ 5 |
They have hidden proud [people] - a trap for me and ropes they have spread a net to [the] side of a track snares they have set for me (Selah)
| قُلْتُ لِلرَّبِّ: «أَنْتَ إِلَهِي» فَيَا رَبُّ أَصْغِ إِلَى صَوْتِ تَضَرُّعِي. | ٦ 6 |
I say to Yahweh [are] God my you give ear to! O Yahweh [the] sound of supplications my.
| أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ السَّيِّدُ، يَا قُوَّةَ خَلاصِي، أَنْتَ وَقَيْتَ رَأْسِي فِي يَوْمِ الْقِتَالِ. | ٧ 7 |
O Yahweh O Lord [the] strength of salvation my you cover head my in a day of weaponry.
| لَا تُحَقِّقْ يَا رَبُّ رَغْبَاتِ الأَشْرَارِ، وَلَا تُنْجِحْ مَكِيدَتَهُمْ لِئَلّا يَسْتَكْبِرُوا. | ٨ 8 |
May not you grant O Yahweh [the] desires of [the] wicked plot his may not you promote they will arise (Selah)
| رُدَّ عَلَى رُؤُوسِ مَنْ يُحَاصِرُونَنِي مَكَائِدَ مَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ به. | ٩ 9 |
[the] head of Surroundings my [the] mischief of lips their (may it cover them. *Q(K)*)
| لِيَسْقُطْ عَلَيْهِمْ جَمْرٌ مُلْتَهِبٌ، وَلْيُطْرَحُوا إِلَى النَّارِ، وَإِلَى غَمَرَاتِ اللُّجَجِ، فَلَا يَنْهَضُوا أَيْضاً. | ١٠ 10 |
(May they be dropped *Q(K)*) on them burning coals in the fire let someone make fall them in pits [which] not they will arise.
| لَا تَدَعْ ذَا اللِّسَانِ السَّلِيطِ يَثْبُتُ فِي الأَرْضِ: فَالشَّرُّ يَتَصَيَّدُ رَجُلَ الظُّلْمِ لِيُهْلِكَهُ. | ١١ 11 |
A person of tongue not let him be established in the land a person of violence trouble let it hunt him for blows.
| قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ يُنْصِفُ دَعْوَى الْمَسَاكِينِ وَيَحْكُمُ بِالْحَقِّ لِلْمُحْتَاجِينَ. | ١٢ 12 |
(I know *Q(k)*) that he will do Yahweh [the] cause of [the] poor [the] justice of needy [people].
| نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الصِّدِّيقِينَ يَحْمَدُونَ اسْمَكَ، وَالصَّالِحِينَ يُقِيمُونَ فِي حَضْرَتِكَ. | ١٣ 13 |
Surely righteous [people] they will give thanks to name your they will dwell upright [people] with presence your.
