المَزامِير 139
| لِقَائِدِ الْمنُشِدِينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ يَا رَبُّ قَدْ فَحَصْتَنِي وَعَرَفْتَنِي. | ١ 1 |
TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH, You have searched me, and know.
| أَنْتَ عَرَفْتَ قُعُودِي وَقِيَامِي. فَهِمْتَ فِكْرِي مِنْ بَعِيدٍ. | ٢ 2 |
You have known my sitting down, And my rising up, You have attended to my thoughts from afar.
| أَنْتَ تَقَصَّيْتَ مَسْلَكِي وَمَرْقَدِي، وَتَعْرِفُ كُلَّ طُرُقِي. | ٣ 3 |
You have fanned my path and my lying down, And have been acquainted [with] all my ways.
| عَرَفْتَ كُلَّ كَلِمَةٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَفَوَّهَ بِها لِسَانِي. | ٤ 4 |
For there is not a word in my tongue, Behold, O YHWH, You have known it all!
| لَقَدْ طَوَّقْتَنِي (بِعِلْمِكَ) مِنْ خَلْفٍ وَمِنْ أَمَامٍ وَبَسَطْتَ يَدَكَ فَوْقِي. | ٥ 5 |
You have besieged me behind and before, And You place Your hand on me.
| مَا أَعْجَبَ هَذَا الْعِلْمَ الْفَائِقَ، إِنَّهُ أَسْمَى مِنْ أَنْ أُدْرِكَهُ. | ٦ 6 |
Knowledge too wonderful for me, It has been set on high, I am not able for it.
| أَيْنَ الْمَهْرَبُ مِنْ رُوحِكَ؟ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ مِنْ حَضْرَتِكَ؟ | ٧ 7 |
To where do I go from Your Spirit? And to where do I flee from Your face?
| إِنْ صَعِدْتُ إِلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَنْتَ هُنَاكَ، وَإِنْ جَعَلْتُ فِرَاشِي فِي عَالَمِ الأَمْوَاتِ فَهُنَاكَ أَنْتَ أَيْضاً. (Sheol h7585) | ٨ 8 |
If I ascend the heavens—You [are] there, And spread out a bed in Sheol, behold, You! (Sheol h7585)
| إِنِ اسْتَعَرْتُ أَجْنِحَةَ الْفَجْرِ وَطِرْتُ، وَسَكَنْتُ فِي أَقْصَى أَطْرَافِ الْبَحْرِ | ٩ 9 |
I take the wings of morning, I dwell in the uttermost part of the sea,
| فَهُنَاكَ أَيْضاً يَدُكَ تَهْدِينِي وَيُمْنَاكَ تُمْسِكُنِي. | ١٠ 10 |
Also there Your hand leads me, And Your right hand holds me.
| إِنْ قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: «رُبَّمَا الظُّلْمَةُ تَحْجُبُنِي وَالضَّوْءُ حَوْلِي يَصِيرُ لَيْلاً»، | ١١ 11 |
And I say, “Surely darkness bruises me,” Then night [is] light to me.
| فَحَتَّى الظُّلْمَةُ لَا تُخْفِي عَنْكَ شَيْئاً، وَاللَّيْلُ كَالنَّهَارِ يُضِيءُ، فَسِيَّانَ عِنْدَكَ الظَّلامُ وَالضَّوْءُ. | ١٢ 12 |
Also darkness does not hide from You, And night shines as day, As [is] darkness so [is] light.
| لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ قَدْ كَوَّنْتَ كُلْيَتَيَّ. نَسَجْتَنِي دَاخِلَ بَطْنِ أُمِّي. | ١٣ 13 |
For You have possessed my reins, You cover me in my mother’s belly.
| أَحْمَدُكَ لأَنَّكَ صَنَعْتَنِي بِإِعْجَازِكَ الْمُدْهِشِ. مَا أَعْجَبَ أَعْمَالَكَ وَنَفْسِي تَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ يَقِيناً. | ١٤ 14 |
I confess You, because I have been fearfully distinguished. Your works [are] wonderful, And my soul is knowing [it] well.
| لَمْ يَخْفَ عَلَيْكَ كِيَانِي عِنْدَمَا كُوِّنْتُ فِي السِّرِّ، وَجُبِلْتُ فِي أَعْمَاقِ الأَرْضِ. | ١٥ 15 |
My substance was not hid from You, When I was made in secret, Curiously worked in the lower part of earth.
| رَأَتْنِي عَيْنَاكَ وَأَنَا مَازِلْتُ جَنِيناً؛ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ تُخْلَقَ أَعْضَائِي كُتِبَتْ فِي سِفْرِكَ يَوْمَ تَصَوَّرْتَهَا. | ١٦ 16 |
Your eyes saw my unformed substance, And all of them are written on Your scroll, The days they were formed—And not one among them.
| مَا أَثْمَنَ أَفْكَارَكَ يَا اللهُ عِنْدِي! مَا أَعْظَمَ جُمْلَتَهَا! | ١٧ 17 |
And how precious Your thoughts have been to me, O God, how great has been their sum!
| إِنْ أَحْصَيْتُهَا زَادَتْ عَلَى الرَّمْلِ عَدَداً. عِنْدَمَا أَسْتَيْقِظُ أَجِدُنِي مَازِلْتُ مَعَكَ. | ١٨ 18 |
I recount them! They are more than the sand, I have awoken, and I am still with You.
| لَيْتَكَ يَا اللهُ تَقْتُلُ الأَشْرَارَ، فَيَبْتَعِدَ عَنِّي سَافِكُو الدِّمَاءِ. | ١٩ 19 |
Do You slay, O God, the wicked? Then, men of blood, turn aside from me!
| فَإِنَّهُمْ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ عَنْكَ بِالْمَكْرِ وَالْكَذِبِ، لأَنَّهُمْ أَعْدَاؤُكَ. | ٢٠ 20 |
Who exchange You for wickedness, Your enemies [are] lifted up to vanity.
| يَا رَبُّ أَلَا أُبْغِضُ مُبْغِضِيكَ، وَأَكْرَهُ الثَّائِرِينَ عَلَيْكَ؟ | ٢١ 21 |
Do I not hate, YHWH, those hating You? And grieve myself with Your withstanders?
| بُغْضاً تَامّاً أُبْغِضُهُمْ، وَأَحْسِبُهُمْ أَعْدَاءَ لِي. | ٢٢ 22 |
I have hated them [with] perfect hatred, They have become enemies to me.
| تَفَحَّصْنِي يَا اللهُ وَاعْرِفْ قَلْبِي. امْتَحِنِّي وَاعْرِفْ أَفْكَارِي. | ٢٣ 23 |
Search me, O God, and know my heart, Try me, and know my thoughts,
| وَانْظُرْ إنْ كَانَ فِيَّ طَرِيقُ سُوءٍ، وَاهْدِنِي الطَّرِيقَ الأَبَدِيَّ. | ٢٤ 24 |
And see if a grievous way be in me, And lead me in a perpetual way!
