المَزامِير 13

١ 1 لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ إِلَى مَتَى يَا رَبُّ تَنْسَانِي؟ أَإِلَى الأَبَدِ؟ إِلَى مَتَى تَحْجُبُ وَجْهَكَ عَنِّي؟

To the choirmaster a psalm of David. Until when? O Yahweh will you forget me perpetuity until when? - will you hide face your from me.

٢ 2 إِلَى مَتَى أَرْعَى هُمُوماً فِي نَفْسِي وَحُزْناً فِي قَلْبِي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ؟ إِلَى مَتَى يَتَشَامَخُ عَدُوِّي عَلَيَّ؟

Until when? will I set counsel in soul my sorrow in heart my by day until when? - will he be exalted enemy my over me.

٣ 3 انْظُرْ إِلَيَّ أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهِى وَاسْتَجِبْ لِي. أَنِرْ عَيْنَيَّ لِئَلّا أَنَامَ نَوْمَةَ الْمَوْتِ،

Pay attention! answer me O Yahweh God my give light to! eyes my lest I should sleep the death.

٤ 4 فَيَقُولَ عَدُوِّي: قَدْ قَهَرْتُهُ؛ وَيَبْتَهِجَ خُصُومِي بِسُقُوطِي.

Lest he should say enemy my I have prevailed over him opponents my they will rejoice if I am shaken.

٥ 5 غَيْرَ أَنِّي تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى رَحْمَتِكَ، فَيَبْتَهِجُ قَلْبِي حَقّاً بِخَلاصِكَ.

And I - in covenant loyalty your I have trusted may it rejoice heart my in deliverance your

٦ 6 أُرَنِّمُ لِلرَّبِّ لأَنَّهُ غَمَرَنِي بِإِحْسَانِهِ الْعَمِيمِ.

I will sing to Yahweh for he has dealt bountifully towards me.
