المَزامِير 128

١ 1 تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ طُوبَاكَ يَا مَنْ تَتَّقِي الرَّبَّ وَتَسْلُكُ فِي طُرُقِهِ.

BLESSED is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.

٢ 2 لأَنَّكَ تَأْكُلُ مِنْ تَعَبِ يَدَيْكَ وَتَتَمَتَّعُ بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَالْخَيْرِ.

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

٣ 3 تَكُونُ امْرَأَتُكَ كَكَرْمَةٍ مُثْمِرَةٍ فِي جَوَانِبِ بَيْتِكَ، وَأَبْنَاؤُكَ كَأَغْرَاسِ الزَّيْتُونِ حَوْلَ مَائِدَتِكَ.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

٤ 4 هَكَذَا يُبَارَكُ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يَتَّقِي الرَّبَّ.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

٥ 5 يُبَارِكُكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ، حَتَّى تَشْهَدَ خَيْرَ أُورُشَلِيمَ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكَ،

The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

٦ 6 وَتَعِيشَ لِتَرَى أَحْفَادَكَ. وَلْيَكُنْ لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ سَلامٌ.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
