المَزامِير 108

١ 1 تَسْبِيحَةٌ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ إِنَّ قَلْبِي ثَابِتٌ يَا اللهُ. أُرَنِّمُ وَأَشْدُو لَكَ. فَهَيَّا اسْتَيْقِظِي يَا نَفْسِي.

A song or Psalme of David. O God, mine heart is prepared, so is my tongue: I will sing and giue praise.

٢ 2 اسْتَيْقِظِي أَيَّتُهَا الرَّبَابُ وَالْعُودُ. أَنَا أَسْتَيْقِظُ قُبَيْلَ الْفَجْرِ.

Awake viole and harpe: I will awake early.

٣ 3 أَحْمَدُكَ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ يَا رَبُّ وَأَشْدُو لَكَ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ.

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people, and I wil sing vnto thee among the nations.

٤ 4 فَإِنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ قَدْ عَظُمَتْ فَوْقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَحَقَّكَ بَلَغَ الْغُيُومَ.

For thy mercy is great aboue the heauens, and thy trueth vnto the clouds.

٥ 5 ارْتَفِعْ يَا اللهُ فَوْقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَلْيَتَسَامَ مَجْدُكَ فَوْقَ الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا.

Exalt thy self, O God, aboue the heauens, and let thy glorie be vpon all the earth,

٦ 6 اسْتَجِبْ لِي وَخَلِّصْ بِيَمِينِكَ الْمُقْتَدِرَةِ كَي يَنْجُوَ أَحِبَّاؤُكَ.

That thy beloued may be deliuered: helpe with thy right hand and heare me.

٧ 7 قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ اللهُ فِي قَدَاسَتِهِ، لِذَلِكَ أَبْتَهِجُ وَأَقْسِمُ أَرْضَ شَكِيمَ وَأَقِيسُ وَادِي سُكُّوتَ،

God hath spoken in his holinesse: therefore I will reioyce, I shall deuide Shechem and measure the valley of Succoth.

٨ 8 لِي جِلْعَادُ، وَلِي مَنَسَّى؛ أَفْرَايِمُ خُوذَةُ رَأْسِي، وَيَهُوذَا صَوْلَجَانِي.

Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iuda is my lawgiuer.

٩ 9 مُوآبُ مِرْحَضَتِي، وَعَلَى أَدُومَ أُلْقِي حِذَائِي، وعَلَى فَلَسْطِينَ أَهْتِفُ مُنْتَصِراً.

Moab shalbe my washpot: ouer Edom wil I cast out my shoe: vpon Palestina wil I triumph.

١٠ 10 مَنْ يَقُودُنِي لِمُحَارَبَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ الْمُحَصَّنَةِ؟ مَنْ يَهْدِينِي إِلَى أَدُومَ؟

Who will leade mee into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?

١١ 11 أَلَيْسَ أَنْتَ يَا اللهُ الَّذِي أَقْصَيْتَنَا وَلَمْ تَعُدْ تَخْرُجُ مَعَ جُيُوشِنَا؟

Wilt not thou, O God, which haddest forsaken vs, and diddest not goe foorth, O God, with our armies?

١٢ 12 هَبْ لَنَا عَوْناً فِي الضِّيقِ، فَعَبَثٌ هُوَ خَلاصُ الإِنْسَانِ.

Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.

١٣ 13 لَكِنْ بِعَوْنِ اللهِ نُحَارِبُ بِبَأْسٍ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَدُوسُ أَعْدَاءَنَا.

Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall treade downe our enemies.
