| فَقَامَتْ جَمَاعَتُهُمْ كُلُّهَا، وَسَاقُوا يَسُوعَ إِلَى بِيلاطُسَ. | ١ 1 |

| وَبَدَأُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهُ قَائِلِينَ: «تَبَيَّنَ لَنَا أَنَّ هَذَا يُضَلِّلُ أُمَّتَنَا، وَيَمْنَعُ أَنْ تُدْفَعَ الْجِزْيَةُ لِلْقَيْصَرِ وَيَدَّعِي أَنَّهُ الْمَسِيحُ الْمَلِكُ!» | ٢ 2 |
be first then to accuse it/s/he to say this/he/she/it to find/meet to pervert the/this/who Gentiles (me *NO*) and to prevent tax Caesar to give (and *no*) to say themself Christ king to exist
| فَسَأَلَهُ بِيلاطُسُ: «أَأَنْتَ مَلِكُ الْيَهُودِ؟» فَأَجَابَهُ: «أَنْتَ قُلْتَ!» | ٣ 3 |

| وَلَمَّا رَأَى هِيرُودُسُ يَسُوعَ، فَرِحَ جِدّاً، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَمَنَّى مِنْ زَمَانٍ طَوِيلٍ أَنْ يَرَاهُ بِسَبَبِ سَمَاعِهِ الْكَثِيرَ عَنْهُ، وَيَرْجُو أَنْ يَرَى آيَةً تُجْرَى عَلَى يَدِهِ. | ٨ 8 |

| وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «أَحْضَرْتُمْ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الإِنْسَانَ عَلَى أَنَّهُ يُضَلِّلُ الشَّعْبَ. وَهَا أَنَا، بَعْدَمَا فَحَصْتُ الأَمْرَ أَمَامَكُمْ، لَمْ أَجِدْ فِي هَذَا الإِنْسَانِ أَيَّ ذَنْبٍ مِمَّا تَتَّهِمُونَهُ بِهِ، | ١٤ 14 |
