يُوئيل 1

١ 1 هَذَا مَا أَوْحَى بِهِ الرَّبُّ إِلَى يُوئِيلَ بْنِ فَثُوئِيلَ:

٢ 2 اسْمَعُوا هَذَا أَيُّهَا الشُّيُوخُ، وَأَصْغُوا يَا جَمِيعَ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ، هَلْ جَرَى مِثْلُ هَذَا فِي أَيَّامِكُمْ أَوْ فِي أَيَّامِ آبَائِكُمْ؟

to hear: hear this [the] old: elder and to listen all to dwell [the] land: country/planet to be this in/on/with day your and if in/on/with day father your

٣ 3 أَخْبِرُوا بِهَذَا أَبْنَاءَكُمْ، وَلْيُخْبِرْ أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ لِيَنْقُلُوهُ إِلَى الأَجْيَالِ الْقَادِمَةِ.

٤ 4 إِنَّ مَا تَخَلَّفَ مِنْ مَحْصُولِكُمْ عَنْ هَجَمَاتِ الزَّحَّافِ الْتَهَمَتْهُ أَسْرَابُ الْجَرَادِ، وَمَا تَفَضَّلَ عَنْ أَسْرَابِ الْجَرَادِ أَكَلَتْهُ الْجَنَادِبُ؛ وَمَا بَقِيَ عَنِ الْجَنَادِبِ قَضَى عَلَيْهِ الطَّيَّارُ.

٥ 5 اصْحُوا أَيُّهَا السَّكَارَى، وَابْكُوا يَا جَمِيعَ مُدْمِنِي الْخَمْرِ عَلَى الْعَصِيرِ لأَنَّهُ قَدِ انْقَطَعَ عَنْ أَفْوَاهِكُمْ.

٦ 6 فَإِنَّ أُمَّةً قَدْ زَحَفَتْ عَلَى أَرْضِي، أُمَّةً قَوِيَّةً لَا تُحْصَى لِكَثْرَتِهَا. لَهَا أَسْنَانُ لَيْثٍ وَأَنْيَابُ لَبُوءَةٍ،

٧ 7 فَأَتْلَفَتْ كُرُومِي وَحَطَّمَتْ أَشْجَارَ بَيْتِي وَسَلَخَتْ قُشُورَهَا وَطَرَحَتْهَا، فَابْيَضَّتْ أَغْصَانُهَا.

٨ 8 نُوحُوا كَمَا تَنُوحُ صَبِيَّةٌ مُتَّشِحَةٌ بِالْمُسُوحِ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا الَّذِي مَاتَ.

٩ 9 لأَنَّ تَقْدِمَاتِ الدَّقِيقِ وَالْخَمْرِ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ عَنْ بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ، وَانْتَحَبَ الْكَهَنَةُ خُدَّامُ الرَّبِّ.

١٠ 10 قَدْ خَرِبَتِ الْحُقُولُ، وَنَاحَتِ الأَرْضُ لأَنَّ الْحِنْطَةَ تَلِفَتْ وَالْخَمْرَةَ انْقَطَعَتْ، وَافْتُقِدَ زَيْتُ الزَّيْتُونِ.

to ruin land: country to mourn land: soil for to ruin grain to wither new wine to weaken oil

١١ 11 اخْزَوْا أَيُّهَا الْحَرَّاثُونَ وَوَلْوِلُوا أَيُّهَا الْكَرَّامُونَ عَلَى الْقَمْحِ وَالشَّعِيرِ، لأَنَّ حَصَادَ الْحَقْلِ قَدْ تَلِفَ.

be ashamed farmer to wail to tend vineyards upon wheat and upon barley for to perish harvest land: country

١٢ 12 قَدْ ذَوَى الْكَرْمُ وَذَبُلَ التِّينُ وَالرُّمَّانُ وَالنَّخِيلُ وَالتُّفَّاحُ وَيَبِسَتْ سَائِرُ أَشْجَارِ الْحَقْلِ، وَزَالَتِ الْبَهْجَةُ مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ الْبَشَرِ.

[the] vine to wither and [the] fig to weaken pomegranate also palm and apple all tree [the] land: country to wither for be ashamed rejoicing from son: child man

١٣ 13 أَيُّهَا الْكَهَنَةُ اتَّشِحُوا بِالْمُسُوحِ وَنُوحُوا. وَلْوِلُوا يَا خُدَّامَ الْمَذْبَحِ. تَعَالَوْا وَبِيتُوا لَيْلَتَكُمْ بِالْمُسُوحِ يَا خُدَّامَ إِلَهِي، لأَنَّ تَقْدِمَاتِ الدَّقِيقِ وَالْخَمْرِ قَدْ مُنِعَتْ عَنْ هَيْكَلِ اللهِ.

١٤ 14 خَصِّصُوا صَوْماً. نَادُوا بِالاعْتِكَافِ. ادْعُوا الشُّيُوخَ وَجَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ الأَرْضِ لِلاجْتِمَاعِ فِي هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَتَضَرَّعُوا إِلَيْهِ.

to consecrate: consecate fast to call: call to assembly to gather old: elder all to dwell [the] land: country/planet house: temple LORD God your and to cry out to(wards) LORD

١٥ 15 يَا لَهُ مِنْ يَوْمٍ رَهِيبٍ، لأَنَّ يَوْمَ الرَّبِّ قَرِيبٌ يَأْتِي حَامِلاً مَعَهُ الدَّمَارَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الْقَدِيرِ.

alas! to/for day for near day LORD and like/as violence from Almighty to come (in): come

١٦ 16 أَلَمْ يَنْقَطِعِ الطَّعَامُ أَمَامَ عُيُونِنَا، أَلَمْ يَتَلاشَ الْفَرَحُ وَالْغِبْطَةُ مِنْ بَيْتِ إِلَهِنَا؟

١٧ 17 قَدْ تَعَفَّنَتِ الْحُبُوبُ الْمَزْرُوعَةُ فِي الأَرْضِ الْجَافَّةِ، وَتَهَدَّمَتِ الْمَخَازِنُ وَفَرِغَتِ الصَّوَامِعُ مِنَ الْقَمْحِ، لأَنَّ الْحُبُوبَ قَدْ جَفَّتْ.

to shrivel grain underneath: under clod their be desolate: destroyed treasure to overthrow granary for to wither grain

١٨ 18 لَكَمْ أَنَّتِ الْبَهَائِمُ، وَشَرَدَتِ الْمَوَاشِي إِذِ افْتَقَرَتْ إِلَى الْمَرْعَى. حَتَّى قُطْعَانُ الْغَنَمِ هَلَكَتْ أَيْضاً.

what? to sigh animal to perplex flock cattle for nothing pasture to/for them also flock [the] flock be guilty

١٩ 19 إِلَيْكَ يَا رَبُّ أَصْرُخُ لأَنَّ النَّارَ قَدِ الْتَهَمَتْ مَرَاعِيَ الْبَرِّيَّةِ، وَأَحْرَقَ اللَّهِيبُ كُلَّ أَشْجَارِ الْحَقْلِ.

to(wards) you LORD to call: call to for fire to eat habitation wilderness and flame to kindle all tree [the] land: country

٢٠ 20 حَتَّى الْحَيَوَانَاتُ الْبَرِّيَّةُ اسْتَغَاثَتْ بِكَ، لأَنَّ مِيَاهَ الْجَدَاوِلِ الْجَارِيَةَ قَدْ جَفَّتْ، وَالْتَهَمَتِ النِّيرَانُ مَرَاعِيَ الْبَرِّيَّةِ.

also animal land: country to long for to(wards) you for to wither channel water and fire to eat habitation [the] wilderness
