أيُّوب 5

١ 1 ادْعُ الآنَ، فَهَلْ مِنْ مُجِيبٍ؟ وَإِلَى أَيِّ القِدِّيسِينَ تَلْتَفِتُ؟

to call: call out please there to answer you and to(wards) who? from holy to turn

٢ 2 الْغَيْظُ يَقْتُلُ الأَحْمَقَ، وَالْغَيْرَةُ تُمِيتُ الأَبْلَهَ.

for to/for fool(ish) to kill vexation and to entice to die jealousy

٣ 3 لَقَدْ شَاهَدْتُ الْغَبِيَّ يَتَأَصَّلُ، ثُمَّ لَمْ أَلْبَثْ أَنْ لَعَنْتُ مَسْكَنَهُ.

I to see: see fool(ish) to uproot and to curse pasture his suddenly

٤ 4 أَبْنَاؤُهُ لَا أَمْنَ لَهُمْ. يَتَحَطَّمُونَ عِنْدَ الْبَابِ وَلا مُنْقِذَ.

to remove son: child his from salvation and to crush in/on/with gate and nothing to rescue

٥ 5 يَأْكُلُ الْجَائِعُ حَصِيدَهُمْ، وَيَلْتَهِمُهُ حَتَّى مِنْ بَيْنِ الشَّوْكِ، وَيَمْتَصُّ الظَّامِئُ ثَرْوَتَهُمْ.

which harvest his hungry to eat and to(wards) from thorn to take: take him and to long for snare strength: rich their

٦ 6 إِنَّ الْبَلِيَّةَ لَا تَخْرُجُ مِنَ التُّرَابِ، وَالْمَشَقَّاتِ لَا تَنْبُتُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ،

for not to come out: come from dust evil: trouble and from land: soil not to spring trouble

٧ 7 وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ الإِنْسَانَ مَوْلُودٌ لِمُعَانَاةِ الْمَتَاعِبِ، كَمَا وُلِدَتِ الْجَوَارِحُ لِتُحَلِّقَ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا.

for man to/for trouble to beget and son: type of flash to exult to fly

٨ 8 لَوْ كُنْتُ فِي مَكَانِكَ لاتَّجَهْتُ إِلَى اللهِ وَعَرَضْتُ أَمْرِي عَلَيْهِ.

but I to seek to(wards) God and to(wards) God to set: put cause my

٩ 9 هُوَ صَانِعُ عَجَائِبَ لَا تُفْحَصُ وَعَظَائِمَ لَا تُحْصَى.

to make: do great: large and nothing search to wonder till nothing number

١٠ 10 يُهْطِلُ الْغَيْثَ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأَرْضِ، وَيُرْسِلُ الْمِيَاهَ إِلَى الْحُقُولِ.

[the] to give: give rain upon face: surface land: country/planet and to send: depart water upon face: surface outside

١١ 11 يُقِيمُ الْمُتَوَاضِعِينَ فِي الْعُلَى، وَيَرْفَعُ النَّائِحِينَ إِلَى مَكَانِ الطُّمَأْنِينَةِ.

to/for to set: make low to/for height and be dark to exalt salvation

١٢ 12 يُبْطِلُ تَدْبِيرَاتِ الْمُحْتَالِينَ فَيُخْفِقُونَ،

to break plot prudent and not to make: do hand their wisdom

١٣ 13 أَوْ يُوْقِعُ الْحُكَمَاءَ فِي خِدْعَتِهِمْ، فَتَتَلاشَى مَشُورَةُ الْمَاكِرِينَ.

to capture wise in/on/with be shrewd they and counsel to twist to hasten

١٤ 14 يَكْتَنِفُهُمْ ظَلامٌ فِي النَّهَارِ، وَيَتَحَسَّسُونَ طَرِيقَهُمْ فِي الظَّهِيرَةِ، كَمَنْ يَمْشِي فِي اللَّيْلِ.

by day to meet darkness and like/as night to feel in/on/with midday

١٥ 15 يُنَجِّي الْبَائِسِينَ مِنْ سَيْفِ فَمِهِمْ، وَمِنْ قَبْضَةِ الْقَوِيِّ يُنْقِذُهُمْ،

and to save from sword from lip their and from hand: power strong needy

١٦ 16 فَيُصْبِحُ لِلْمِسْكِينِ رَجَاءٌ، وَالظُّلْمُ يَسُدُّ فَمَهُ.

and to be to/for poor hope and injustice to gather lip her

١٧ 17 طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يُقَوِّمُهُ اللهُ، فَلا تَرْفُضْ تَأْدِيبَ الْقَدِيرِ.

behold blessed human to rebuke him god and discipline Almighty not to reject

١٨ 18 لأَنَّ اللهَ يَجْرَحُ وَيَعْصِبُ، يَسْحَقُ وَيَدَاهُ تُبْرِئَانِ.

for he/she/it to pain and to saddle/tie to wound (and hand his *Q(K)*) to heal

١٩ 19 مِنْ سِتِّ بَلايَا يُنَجِّيكَ، وَفِي سَبْعٍ لَا يَقَعُ بِكَ أَذىً.

in/on/with six distress to rescue you and in/on/with seven not to touch in/on/with you bad: evil

٢٠ 20 يَفْدِيكَ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ جُوعاً، وَفِي الْحَرْبِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ بِحَدِّ السَّيْفِ.

in/on/with famine to ransom you from death and in/on/with battle from hand: power sword

٢١ 21 يَقِيكَ مِنْ لَذَعَاتِ اللِّسَانِ، فَلا تَخَافُ مِنَ الدَّمَارِ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ.

in/on/with whip tongue to hide and not to fear from violence for to come (in): come

٢٢ 22 تَسْخَرُ مِنَ الدَّمَارِ وَالْمَجَاعَةِ، وَلا تَخْشَى وُحُوشَ الأَرْضِ،

to/for violence and to/for famine to laugh and from living thing [the] land: soil not to fear

٢٣ 23 لأَنَّ عَهْدَكَ مَعَ حِجَارَةِ الْحَقْلِ، وَوُحُوشُ الصَّحْرَاءِ تُسَالِمُكَ.

for with stone [the] land: country covenant your and living thing [the] land: country to ally to/for you

٢٤ 24 فَتُدْرِكُ أَنَّ خَيْمَتَكَ آمِنَةٌ، وَتَتَعَهَّدُ حَظِيرَتَكَ فَلا تَفْقِدُ شَيْئاً.

and to know for peace tent your and to reckon: list pasture your and not to sin

٢٥ 25 عِنْدَئِذٍ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَكَ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَأَنَّ نَسْلَكَ كَعُشْبِ الأَرْضِ،

and to know for many seed: children your and offspring your like/as vegetation [the] land: soil

٢٦ 26 وَتَدْخُلُ الْقَبْرَ فِي شَيْبَةٍ نَاضِجَةٍ، كَمَا يُرْفَعُ كُدْسُ الْقَمْحِ فِي مَوْسِمِهِ.

to come (in): come in/on/with vigor to(wards) grave like/as to ascend: establish stack in/on/with time his

٢٧ 27 فَانْظُرْ. هَذَا مَا بَحَثْنَا عَنْهُ، وَهُوَ حَقٌّ، فَاسْمَعْهُ وَاخْتَبِرْهُ بِنَفْسِكَ».
