إرْمِيا 17

١ 1 «قَدْ دُوِّنَتْ خَطِيئَةُ يَهُوذَا بِقَلَمٍ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ، وَنُقِشَتْ بِرَأْسٍ مِنَ الْمَاسِ عَلَى أَلْوَاحِ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَى قُرُونِ الْمَذَابِحِ،

sin Judah to write in/on/with stylus iron in/on/with fingernail thorn to plow/plot upon tablet heart their and to/for horn altar your

٢ 2 بَيْنَمَا أَبْنَاؤُهُمْ يَذْكُرُونَ مَذَابِحَهُمْ وَأَنْصَابَ عَشْتَارُوثَ إِلَى جُوَارِ كُلِّ شَجَرَةٍ خَضْرَاءَ وَعَلَى الآكَامِ الْمُرْتَفِعَةِ،

like/as to remember son: child their altar their and Asherah their upon tree luxuriant upon hill [the] high

٣ 3 وَعَلَى الْجِبَالِ الْمُنْتَشِرَةِ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ الشَّاسِعَةِ. لِذَلِكَ أَجْعَلُ ثَرْوَتَكَ وَكُنُوزَكَ نَهْباً، ثَمَناً لِخَطِيئَتِكَ الَّتِي ارْتَكَبْتَهَا فِي جَمِيعِ تُخُومِكَ،

mountain my in/on/with land: country strength: rich your all treasure your to/for plunder to give: give high place your in/on/with sin in/on/with all border: area your

٤ 4 وَتَفْقِدُ بِنَفْسِكَ مِيرَاثَكَ الَّذِي وَهَبْتُهُ لَكَ، وَأَجْعَلُكَ مُسْتَعْبَداً لأَعْدَائِكَ فِي أَرْضٍ لَا تَعْرِفُهَا لأَنَّكَ أَضْرَمْتَ نَاراً فِي غَضَبِي لَا يَخْمَدُ لَهَا لَهِيبٌ».

and to release and in/on/with you from inheritance your which to give: give to/for you and to serve you [obj] enemy your in/on/with land: country/planet which not to know for fire to kindle in/on/with face: anger my till forever: enduring to burn

٥ 5 وَهَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ: «لِيَكُنْ مَلْعُوناً كُلُّ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَى بَشَرٍ، وَيَتَّخِذُ مِنَ النَّاسِ ذِرَاعَ قُوَّةٍ لَهُ، وَيُحَوِّلُ قَلْبَهُ عَنِ الرَّبِّ.

thus to say LORD to curse [the] great man which to trust in/on/with man and to set: make flesh arm his and from LORD to turn aside: turn aside heart his

٦ 6 فَيَكُونُ كَالأَثَلِ فِي الْبَادِيَةِ، لَا يَرَى الْفَلاحَ عِنْدَمَا يُقْبِلُ. يُقِيمُ فِي حَرِّ الصَّحْرَاءِ الشَّدِيدِ، فِي الأَرْضِ الْمَهْجُورَةِ مِنَ النَّاسِ لِمُلُوحَتِهَا.

and to be like/as juniper in/on/with plain and not to see: see for to come (in): come good and to dwell parched in/on/with wilderness land: country/planet saltiness and not to dwell

٧ 7 وَلَكِنْ مُبَارَكٌ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يَتَّكِلُ عَلَى الرَّبِّ، وَيَتَّخِذُهُ مُعْتَمَداً لَهُ،

to bless [the] great man which to trust in/on/with LORD and to be LORD confidence his

٨ 8 فَيَكُونُ كَشَجَرَةٍ مَغْرُوسَةٍ عِنْدَ الْمِيَاهِ، تَمُدُّ جُذُورَهَا إِلَى الْجَدْوَلِ، وَلا تَخْشَى اشْتِدَادَ الْحَرِّ الْمُقْبِلِ، إِذْ تَظَلُّ أَوْرَاقُهَا خَضْرَاءَ، وَلا يُفْزِعُهَا الْقَحْطُ لأَنَّهَا لَا تَكُفُّ عَنِ الإِثْمَارِ.

and to be like/as tree to transplant upon water and upon stream to send: depart root his and not (to see: see *Q(K)*) for to come (in): come heat and to be leaf his luxuriant and in/on/with year drought not be anxious and not to remove from to make fruit

٩ 9 الْقَلْبُ أَخْدَعُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ نَجِيسٌ، فَمَنْ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَفْهَمَهُ؟

insidious [the] heart from all and be incurable he/she/it who? to know him

١٠ 10 أَنَا الرَّبُّ أَفْحَصُ الْقُلُوبَ وَأَمْتَحِنُ الأَفْكَارَ، لأُجَازِيَ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ حَسَبَ طُرُقِهِ، وَبِمُقْتَضَى أَفْعَالِهِ».

١١ 11 مُكْتَنِزُ الْغِنَى مِنْ غَيْرِ حَقٍّ كَحَجَلَةٍ تَحْتَضِنُ وَتَفْقِسُ مَا لَمْ تَبِضْ، لأَنَّهُ سَرْعَانَ مَا يَفْقِدُهُ فِي مُنْتَصَفِ حَيَاتِهِ، وَيَضْحَى آخِرَ أَيَّامِهِ أَحْمَقَ.

partridge to gather and not to beget to make: offer riches and not in/on/with justice in/on/with half (day his *Q(K)*) to leave: forsake him and in/on/with end his to be foolish

١٢ 12 الْعَرْشُ الْمَجِيدُ الْمُرْتَفِعُ مُنْذُ الْبَدْءِ هُوَ مَقَرُّ مَقْدِسِنَا.

١٣ 13 أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ رَجَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلَ: إِنَّ جَمِيعَ الَّذِينَ يَتَخَلُّونَ عَنْكَ يَلْحَقُ بِهِمِ الْخِزْيُ، وَالَّذِينَ يَنْصَرِفُونَ عَنْكَ (يَزُولُونَ) كَمَنْ كُتِبَتْ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ عَلَى التُّرَابِ لأَنَّهُمْ نَبَذُوا الرَّبَّ يَنْبُوعَ الْمِيَاهِ الْحَيَّةِ.

hope Israel LORD all to leave: forsake you be ashamed (and degenerate my *Q(K)*) in/on/with land: country/planet to write for to leave: forsake fountain water alive [obj] LORD

١٤ 14 أَبْرِئْنِي يَا رَبُّ فَأَبْرَأَ. خَلِّصْنِي فَأَخْلُصَ، فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَسْبِحَتِي.

to heal me LORD and to heal to save me and to save for praise my you(m. s.)

١٥ 15 هَا هُمْ يَقُولُونَ لِي: «أَيْنَ قَضَاءُ الرَّبِّ؟ لِيَأْتِ».

behold they(masc.) to say to(wards) me where? word LORD to come (in): come please

١٦ 16 أَمَّا أَنَا فَلَمْ أَتَهَرَّبْ مِنْ أَنْ أَكُونَ رَاعِياً لَدَيْكَ، وَأَنْتَ تَعْرِفُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَتَمَنَّ مَجِيءَ يَوْمِ الْمِحْنَةِ، وَتَعْلَمُ مَا نَطَقَتْ بِهِ شَفَتَايَ، لأَنَّ كُلَّ مَا صَدَرَ عَنْهُمَا كَانَ فِي مَحْضَرِكَ.

١٧ 17 لَا تَكُنْ مَثَارَ رُعْبٍ لِي، فَأَنْتَ مَلاذِي فِي يَوْمِ الشَّرِّ.

not to be to/for me to/for terror refuge my you(m. s.) in/on/with day distress: harm

١٨ 18 لِيَلْحَقِ الْخِزْيُ بِمُضْطَهِدِيَّ، وَلَكِنِ احْفَظْنِي مِنَ الْعَارِ. لِيَرْتَعِبُوا هُمْ، أَمَّا أَنَا فَلا تَدَعْنِي أَرْتَعِبُ. اجْعَلْ يَوْمَ الشَّرِّ يَحُلُّ بِهِمْ، وَاسْحَقْهُمْ سَحْقاً مُضَاعَفاً.

be ashamed to pursue me and not be ashamed I to to be dismayed they(masc.) and not to to be dismayed I to come (in): bring upon them day distress: harm and second breaking to break them

١٩ 19 وَهَذَا مَا قَالَهُ الرَّبُّ لِي: «امْضِ وَقِفْ عِنْدَ بَوَّابَةِ أَبْنَاءِ الشَّعْبِ الَّتِي يَدْخُلُ مِنْهَا مُلُوكُ يَهُوذَا وَيَخْرُجُونَ، وَكَذَلِكَ عِنْدَ سَائِرِ بَوَّابَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ،

thus to say LORD to(wards) me to go: went and to stand: stand in/on/with gate son: descendant/people ([the] People's (Gate) *Q(K)*) which to come (in): come in/on/with him king Judah and which to come out: come in/on/with him and in/on/with all gate Jerusalem

٢٠ 20 وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: اسْمَعُوا كَلِمَةَ الرَّبِّ يَا مُلُوكَ يَهُوذَا وَشَعْبَهَا، وَيَا جَمِيعَ أَهْلِ أُورُشَلِيمَ الْمُجْتَازِينَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبَوَّابَاتِ.

and to say to(wards) them to hear: hear word LORD king Judah and all Judah and all to dwell Jerusalem [the] to come (in): come in/on/with gate [the] these

٢١ 21 هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ: احْتَرِسُوا لأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَلا تَحْمِلُوا أَحْمَالاً فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ وَلا تُدْخِلُوهَا فِي بَوَّابَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ،

thus to say LORD to keep: careful in/on/with soul: life your and not to lift: bear burden in/on/with day [the] Sabbath and to come (in): bring in/on/with gate Jerusalem

٢٢ 22 وَلا تَنْقُلُوا حِمْلاً إِلَى خَارِجِ بُيُوتِكُمْ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ وَلا تَقُومُوا بِأَيِّ عَمَلٍ. إِنَّمَا قَدِّسُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ كَمَا أَوْصَيْتُ آبَاءَكُمْ.

and not to come out: send burden from house: home your in/on/with day [the] Sabbath and all work not to make: do and to consecrate: consecate [obj] day [the] Sabbath like/as as which to command [obj] father your

٢٣ 23 مَعَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُطِيعُوا وَلَمْ يُصْغُوا، بَلْ قَسَّوْا قُلُوبَهُمْ لِئَلَّا يَسْمَعُوا وَلِئَلَّا يَقْبَلُوا التَّأْدِيبَ

and not to hear: hear and not to stretch [obj] ear their and to harden [obj] neck their to/for lest (to hear: hear *Q(K)*) and to/for lest to take: recieve discipline: instruction

٢٤ 24 وَلَكِنْ إِنِ اسْتَمَعْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، وَلَمْ تُدْخِلُوا أَحْمَالاً فِي بَوَّابَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ، بَلْ قَدَّسْتُمُوهُ وَلَمْ تَقُومُوا بِأَيِّ عَمَلٍ فِيهِ،

٢٥ 25 عِنْدَئِذٍ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ بَوَّابَاتِ هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ مُلُوكٌ وَرُؤَسَاءُ مِمَّنْ يَجْلِسُونَ عَلَى عَرْشِ دَاوُدَ، رَاكِبِينَ فِي عَرَبَاتٍ وَعَلَى صَهَوَاتِ الْجِيَادِ مَعَ رُؤَسَائِهِمْ، يُوَاكِبُهُمْ سُكَّانُ يَهُوذَا وَأَهْلُ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَتُعْمَرُ هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ بِالسُّكَّانِ.

and to come (in): come in/on/with gate [the] city [the] this king and ruler to dwell upon throne David to ride in/on/with chariot and in/on/with horse they(masc.) and ruler their man: anyone Judah and to dwell Jerusalem and to dwell [the] city [the] this to/for forever: enduring

٢٦ 26 وَيُقْبِلُ النَّاسُ مِنْ مُدُنِ يَهُوذَا وَمِنْ حَوْلِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَمِنْ أَرْضِ بِنْيَامِينَ وَمِنَ السَّهْلِ وَالْجَبَلِ، وَمِنَ النَّقَبِ، حَامِلِينَ مُحْرَقَاتٍ وَذَبَائِحَ وَتَقْدِمَاتٍ وَبَخُوراً مُعَطَّراً، وَقَرَابِينَ شُكْرٍ إِلَى هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ.

and to come (in): come from city Judah and from around Jerusalem and from land: country/planet Benjamin and from [the] Shephelah and from [the] mountain: hill country and from [the] Negeb to come (in): bring burnt offering and sacrifice and offering and frankincense and to come (in): bring thanksgiving house: temple LORD

٢٧ 27 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَمِعُوا لِي لِتُقَدِّسُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ، وَثَابَرْتُمْ عَلَى حَمْلِ أَثْقَالٍ فِيهِ لِتُدْخِلُوهَا مِنْ بَوَّابَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، فَإِنِّي أُضْرِمُ بَوَّابَاتِهَا بِالنَّارِ فَتَلْتَهِمُ قُصُورَ أُورُشَلِيمَ، ولا تَنْطَفِئُ».

and if not to hear: obey to(wards) me to/for to consecrate: consecate [obj] day [the] Sabbath and to/for lest to lift: bear burden and to come (in): come in/on/with gate Jerusalem in/on/with day [the] Sabbath and to kindle fire in/on/with gate her and to eat citadel: palace Jerusalem and not to quench
