إشَعْياء 8

١ 1 ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِي: «خُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ لَوْحاً كَبِيراً، وَاكْتُبْ عَلَيْهِ بِحُرُوفٍ وَاضِحَةٍ’مَهَيْرَ شَلالَ حَاشَ بَزَ‘(بِمَعْنَى مُسْرِعٍ إِلَى الْغَنِيمَةِ).»

and to say LORD to(wards) me to take: take to/for you tablet great: large and to write upon him in/on/with stylus human to/for Maher-shalal-hash-baz Maher-shalal-hash-baz Maher-shalal-hash-baz Maher-shalal-hash-baz

٢ 2 فَاخْتَرْتُ لِنَفْسِي شَاهِدَيْنِ أَمِينَيْنِ، هُمَا أُورِيَّا الْكَاهِنُ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَبْرَخْيَا.

٣ 3 ثُمَّ عَاشَرْتُ النَّبِيَّةَ فَحَمَلَتْ وَأَنْجَبَتِ ابْناً. فَقَالَ لِي الرَّبُّ: «ادْعُ اسْمَهُ مَهَيْرَ شَلالَ حَاشَ بَزَ،

٤ 4 وَقَبْلَ أَنْ يَعْرِفَ الصَّبِيُّ كَيْفَ يُنَادِي: يَا أَبِي أَوْ يَا أُمِّي، تُحْمَلُ ثَرْوَةُ دِمَشْقَ وَغَنَائِمُ السَّامِرَةِ أَمَامَ مَلِكِ أَشُّورَ».

٥ 5 ثُمَّ كَلَّمَنِي الرَّبُّ ثَانِيَةً قَائِلاً:

٦ 6 «مِنْ حَيْثُ إِنَّ هَذَا الشَّعْبَ قَدْ رَفَضَ مِيَاهَ شِيلُوهَ الجَارِيَةَ الْهَادِئَةَ، وَتَهَافَتُوا عَلَى رَصِينَ وَفَقْحَ بْنِ رَمَلْيَا،

٨ 8 فَيَكْتَسِحُ أَرْضَ يَهُوذَا، وَيَطْفُو مُرْتَفِعاً إِلَى الأَعْنَاقِ، وَتَنْتَشِرُ جُيُوشُهُ فِي عَرْضِ أَرْضِكَ يَا عِمَّانُوئِيلُ».

٩ 9 افْعَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ أَيُّهَا الشُّعُوبُ وَانْهَزِمُوا. أَصْغِي يَا جَمِيعَ أَقَاصِي الأَرْضِ. تَأَهَّبُوا لِلْمَعْرَكَةِ وَانْهَزِمُوا.

١٠ 10 تَشَاوَرُوا مَعاً وَلَكِنْ عَلَى غَيْرِ طَائِلٍ، ارْسِمُوا الْخُطَطَ فَلا تَتَحَقَّقَ لأَنَّ اللهَ مَعْنَا.

١١ 11 لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ خَاطَبَنِي حِينَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيَّ وَأَنْذَرَنِي أَنْ لَا أَسْلُكَ فِي طَرِيقِ هَذَا الشَّعْبِ قَائِلاً:

for thus to say LORD to(wards) me like/as strength [the] hand: power and to discipline me from to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct [the] people [the] this to/for to say

١٢ 12 «لا تَقُلْ إِنَّهَا مُؤَامَرَةٌ لِكُلِّ مَا يَدَّعِي هَذَا الشَّعْبُ أَنَّهُ مُؤَامَرَةٌ. لَا تَخْشَ مَا يَخْشَوْنَ وَلا تَخَفْ.

١٣ 13 قَدِّسُوا الرَّبَّ الْقَدِيرَ لأَنَّهُ هُوَ خَوْفُكُمْ وَرَهْبَتُكُمْ،

١٤ 14 فَيَكُونَ لَكُمْ مَقْدِساً. أَمَّا لِبَيْتَيْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَيَكُونُ حَجَرَ صَدْمَةٍ وَصَخْرَةَ عَثْرَةٍ، وَفَخّاً وَشَرَكاً لِسَاكِنِي أُورُشَلِيمَ،

١٦ 16 فَادَّخِرِ الشَّهَادَةَ وَأَوْدِعِ الشَّرِيعَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ تَلامِيذِي.

١٧ 17 سَأَنْتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ الَّذِي يَحْجُبُ وَجْهَهُ عَنْ بَيْتِ يَعْقُوبَ وَأَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْهِ.

١٨ 18 انْظُرُوا هَا أَنَا وَالأَبْنَاءُ الَّذِينَ رَزَقَنِي إِيَّاهُمُ الرَّبُّ، آيَاتٍ وَمُعْجِزَاتٍ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ الْقَدِيرِ السَّاكِنِ فِي جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ.

١٩ 19 وَعِنْدَمَا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ لَكَ: اسْأَلْ أَصْحَابَ التَّوَابِعِ وَالْعَرَّافِينَ الْمُتَهَامِسِينَ الْمُجَمْجِمِينَ قُلْ: أَلَيْسَ عَلَى الشَّعْبِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ إِلَهَهُ؟ أَعَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَسْأَلُوا الأَمْوَاتَ عَنِ الأَحْيَاءِ؟

٢٠ 20 فَإِلَى الشَّرِيعَةِ وَإِلَى الشَّهَادَةِ: وَمَنْ لَا يَنْطِقْ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ، فَلا فَجْرَ لَهُ.

٢٢ 22 ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الأَرْضِ فَلا يَجِدُونَ سِوَى الْكَرْبِ وَالظُّلْمَةِ وَالضَّنْكِ وَالْعَذَابِ، وَيُطْرَدُونَ إِلَى الظَّلامِ.
