إشَعْياء 40

١ 1 يَقُولُ إِلَهُكُمْ: «وَاسُوا، وَاسُوا شَعْبِي!

Comfort comfort people my he says God your.

٢ 2 طَيِّبُوا خَاطِرَ أُورُشَلِيمَ وَبَلِّغُوهَا أَنَّ أَيَّامَ مِحْنَتِهَا قَدِ انْتَهَتْ، وَإِثْمَهَا قَدْ غُفِرَ، وَتَلَقَّتْ مِنْ يَدِ الرَّبِّ ضِعْفَيْنِ عَنْ جَمِيعِ مَا ارْتَكَبَتْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَا».

Speak to [the] heart of Jerusalem and proclaim to it that it has been completed service its for it has been accepted iniquity its that it has received from [the] hand of Yahweh double for all sins its.

٣ 3 صَوْتٌ يَصْرُخُ وَيَقُولُ: «أَعِدُّوا فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ طَرِيقَ الرَّبِّ، وَأَقِيمُوا طَرِيقاً مُسْتَقِيماً لإِلَهِنَا.

A voice [is] calling in the wilderness make clear [the] way of Yahweh make straight in the desert plain a highway for God our.

٤ 4 كُلُّ وَادٍ يَرْتَفِعُ، وَكُلُّ تَلٍّ يَنْخَفِضُ. وَتُمَهَّدُ كُلُّ أَرْضٍ مُعْوَجَّةٍ وتُعَبَّدُ كُلُّ بُقْعَةٍ وَعِرَةٍ

Every valley it will be lifted up and every mountain and hill they will become low and it will become the steep [place] level ground and the rough places a plain.

٥ 5 وَيَتَجَلَّى مَجْدُ اللهِ، فَيُشَاهِدُهُ كُلُّ ذِي جَسَدٍ، لأَنَّ فَمَ الرَّبِّ قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ».

And it will be revealed [the] glory of Yahweh and they will see [it] all flesh together for [the] mouth of Yahweh it has spoken.

٦ 6 وَعِنْدَئِذٍ قَالَ صَوْتٌ: «نَادِ بِرِسَالَةٍ». فَأَجَبْتُ: «أَيَّةُ رِسَالَةٍ؟» فَقَالَ: «كُلُّ ذِي جَسَدٍ عُشْبٌ، وَكُلُّ بَهَائِهِ كَزَهْرِ الصَّحْرَاءِ.

A voice [is] saying proclaim and he said what? will I proclaim all flesh [is] grass and all loyalty its [is] like [the] flower of the field.

٧ 7 يَذْبُلُ الْعُشْبُ وَيَذْوِي الزَّهْرُ لأَنَّ نَفْخَةَ الرَّبِّ تَهُبُّ عَلَيْهِ. حَقّاً إِنَّ الشَّعْبَ عُشْبٌ.

It dries up grass it withers a flower if [the] breath of Yahweh it blows on it truly [is] grass the people.

٨ 8 يَذْبُلُ الْعُشْبُ وَيَذْوِي الزَّهْرُ، أَمَّا كَلِمَةُ إِلَهِنَا فَتَثْبُتُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ».

It dries up grass it withers a flower and [the] word of God our it will stand for ever.

٩ 9 اصْعَدِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ شَامِخٍ يَا حَامِلَةَ الْبِشَارَةِ إِلَى صِهْيَوْنَ. ارْفَعِي صَوْتَكِ بِقُوَّةٍ يَا مُبَشِّرَةَ أُورُشَلِيمَ. اهْتِفِي وَلا تَجْزَعِي. قُولِي لِمُدُنِ يَهُوذَا: هَا إِلَهُكُمْ قَادِمٌ

On a mountain high go up yourself O bearer of news of Zion lift up with strength voice your O bearer of news of Jerusalem lift [it] up may not you be afraid say to [the] cities of Judah here! God your.

١٠ 10 بِقُدْرَتِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ، وَذِرَاعُهُ تَحْكُمُ لَهُ، وَهَا أُجْرَتُهُ مَعَهُ وَمُكَافَأَتُهُ أَمَامَهُ.

Here! [the] Lord Yahweh a strong [one] he will come and arm his [is] ruling for him here! reward his [is] with him and recompense his [is] before him.

١١ 11 يَرْعَى قَطِيعَهُ كَرَاعٍ، وَيَجْمَعُ الْحُمْلانَ بِذِرَاعِهِ، وَفِي أَحْضَانِهِ يَحْمِلُهَا وَيَقُودُ الْمُرْضِعَاتِ بِرِفْقٍ.

Like a shepherd flock his he will shepherd in arm[s] his he will gather lambs and in bosom his he will carry [them] nursing [ewes] he will lead.

١٢ 12 مَنْ كَالَ الْمِيَاهَ بِكَفِّهِ وَقَاسَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِالشِّبْرِ وَكَالَ تُرَابَ الأَرْضِ بِالْكَيْلِ وَوَزَنَ الْجِبَالَ بِقَبَّانٍ، وَالتِّلالَ بِمِيزَانٍ؟

Who? has he measured in [the] hollow of hand his [the] waters and [the] heavens with span has he marked off? and has he contained? in third of a measure [the] dust of the earth and has he weighed? with balance mountains and hills with scales.

١٣ 13 مَنْ أَرْشَدَ رُوحَ الرَّبِّ أَوْ كَانَ لَهُ مُشِيراً فَعَلَّمَهُ؟

Who? has he directed [the] spirit of Yahweh and [the] person of counsel his will he inform? him.

١٤ 14 هَلْ طَلَبَ الرَّبُّ مَشُورَةً مِنْ أَحَدٍ؟ مَنْ عَلَّمَهُ طَرِيقَ الْعَدْلِ وَلَقَّنَهُ الْمَعْرِفَةَ وَأَرَاهُ سَبِيلَ الْفَهْمِ؟

With whom? did he take counsel and did he give understanding? him and did he teach? him [the] path of justice and did he teach? him knowledge and [the] way of understanding will he inform? him.

١٥ 15 إِنَّ الشُّعُوبَ كَنُقْطَةٍ مِنْ دَلْوٍ، وَكَغُبَارِ الْمِيزَانِ. يَرْفَعُ الْجَزَائِرَ وَكَأَنَّهَا ذَرَّةُ هَبَاءٍ.

There! nations like a drop from a bucket and like [the] dust of scales they are regarded there! islands like fine [dust] he lifts.

١٦ 16 لُبْنَانُ بِأَسْرِهِ لَا يَكْفِي أَنْ يَكُونَ لِلْوَقُودِ، وَحَيَوَانُهُ لَا يَكْفِي لِذَبِيحَةِ مُحْرَقَةٍ.

And Lebanon not [is] sufficiency of burning and animal[s] its not [is] sufficiency of burnt offering.

١٧ 17 جَمِيعُ الأُمَمِ لَا تُحْسَبُ لَدَيْهِ شَيْئاً، وَهِي فِي عَيْنَيْهِ عَدَمٌ وَخَوَاءٌ.

All the nations [are] as nothing before him from nothingness and emptiness they are regarded by him.

١٨ 18 بِمَنْ تُشَبِّهُونَ اللهَ وَبِمَنْ تُقَارِنُونَهُ؟

And to whom? will you liken! God and what? likeness will you compare to him.

١٩ 19 إِنْ كَانَ تِمْثَالاً فَالتِّمْثَالُ يَصُوغُهُ الصَّانِعُ وَيُغَشِّيهِ الصَّائِغُ بِالذَّهَبِ، وَيَسْبِكُ لَهُ سَلاسِلَ مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ.

The idol he has cast a craftsman and a metalsmith with gold he will overlay it and chains of silver [is] refining.

٢٠ 20 أَمَّا الْفَقِيرُ فَإِنَّهُ يَخْتَارُ قِطْعَةَ خَشَبٍ لَا تُنْخَرُ، وَيَلْتَمِسُ صَانِعاً حَاذِقاً يَنْحَتُ لَهُ مِنْهَا صَنَماً ثَابِتاً.

The impoverished [person] a contribution wood [which] not it will rot he chooses a craftsman skillful he seeks for himself to prepare an idol [which] not it will be shaken.

٢١ 21 أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوا؟ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا؟ أَلَمْ يَبْلُغْكُمْ مُنْذُ الْبَدْءِ؟ أَلَمْ تَفْهَمُوا مِنْ إِرْسَاءِ أُسُسِ الأَرْضِ؟

¿ Not do you know ¿ not do you hear ¿ not has it been told from [the] beginning to you ¿ not have you understood [the] foundations of the earth.

٢٢ 22 إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْجَالِسُ عَلَى كُرَةِ الأَرْضِ وَسُكَّانُهَا كَالْجَرَادِ. هُوَ الْبَاسِطُ السَّمَاوَاتِ كَسُرَادَقَ، وَيَنْشُرُهَا كَخَيْمَةٍ لِلسُّكْنَى،

The [one who] sits above [the] circle of the earth and inhabitants its [are] like grasshoppers the [one who] stretched out like curtain [the] heavens and he spread out them like tent to dwell in.

٢٣ 23 يَجْعَلُ الْعُظَمَاءَ كَالْعَدَمِ، وَالْحُكَّامَ كَلا شَيْءٍ.

The [one who] appoints rulers to nothing judges of [the] earth like nothingness he makes.

٢٤ 24 فَمَا كَادُوا يُغْرَسُونَ وَيُزْرَعُونَ وَيَتَأَصَّلُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ حَتَّى نَفَخَ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَذَوَوْا وَعَصَفَتْ بِهِمْ زَوْبَعَةٌ كَالتِّبْنِ.

Even not they have been planted even not they have been sown even not it has taken root in the ground rootstock their and also he blows on them and they have dried up and a tempest like chaff it carries off them.

٢٥ 25 فَبِمَنْ إِذاً تُقَارِنُونَنِي فَأَكُونَ نَظِيرَهُ؟ يَقُولُ الْقُدُّوسُ.

And to whom? will you liken me and I may be equal? he says [the] holy [one].

٢٦ 26 ارْفَعُوا عُيُونَكُمْ إِلَى الْعَلاءِ وَانْظُرُوا. مَنْ خَلَقَ هَذِهِ؟ وَمَنْ يُبْرِزُ كَوَاكِبَهَا بِمَجْمُوعَاتٍ وَيَدْعُوهَا بِأَسْمَاءَ؟ إِنَّ وَاحِدَةً مِنْهَا لَا تُفْقَدُ لأَنَّهُ يُحَافِظُ عَلَيْهَا بِعَظَمَةِ قُدْرَتِهِ، وَلأَنَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَّةِ.

Lift up height eyes your and see who? did he create these the [one who] brings out by number host their all of them by name he calls from greatness of strength and a strong [one] of power any not it is missing.

٢٧ 27 فَكَيْفَ تَجْرُؤُ يَا إِسْرَائِيلُ أَنْ تَقُولَ إِنَّ الرَّبَّ لَا يَرَى مِحْنَتِي وَطَرِيقِي خَافِيَةٌ عَلَيْهِ؟

Why? do you say O Jacob so you may declare? O Israel it is hidden way my from Yahweh and from God my justice my it passes away.

٢٨ 28 أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوا؟ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا؟ إِنَّ الرَّبَّ هُوَ إِلَهٌ سَرْمَدِيٌّ وَخَالِقُ أَقَاصِي الأَرْضِ. لَا يَهِنُ وَلا يَخُورُ، وَفَهْمُهُ لَا يُسْتَقْصَى.

¿ Not do you know or? not have you heard [is] a God of perpetuity - Yahweh [the one who] created [the] ends of the earth not he grows weary and not he becomes weary there not [is] inquiry to understanding his.

٢٩ 29 يَهِبُ الْمَنْهُوكَ قُوَّةً وَيَمْنَحُ الضَّعِيفَ قُدْرَةً عَظِيمَةً.

[he is] giving To the weary [person] strength and to [those who] there not [is] power strength he increases.

٣٠ 30 إِنَّ الشَّبِيبَةَ يَنَالُهَا الإِعْيَاءُ وَالإِرْهَاقُ، وَالْفِتْيَانُ يَتَعَثَّرُونَ أَشَدَّ تَعَثُّرٍ،

And they may grow weary youths so they may become weary and young men certainly they stumble.

٣١ 31 أَمَّا الرَّاجُونَ الرَّبَّ فَإِنَّهُمْ يُجَدِّدُونَ قُوَّتَهُمْ، وَيُحَلِّقُونَ بِأَجْنِحَةِ النُّسُورِ. يَرْكُضُونَ وَلا يُعْيُونَ. يَمْشُونَ وَلا يَتْعَبُونَ.

And [those who] wait for Yahweh they will renew strength they will go up wing[s] like eagles they will run and not they will become weary they will walk and not they will grow weary.
