هُوشَع 4

١ 1 اسْمَعُوا كَلِمَةَ الرَّبِّ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، لأَنَّ لِلرَّبِّ دَعْوَى عَلَى أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ إِذْ خَلَتِ الأَرْضُ مِنَ الأَمَانَةِ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَمَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ.

to hear: hear word LORD son: descendant/people Israel for strife to/for LORD with to dwell [the] land: country/planet for nothing truth: faithful and nothing kindness and nothing knowledge God in/on/with land: country/planet

٢ 2 وَتَفَشَّتْ فِيهَا اللَّعْنَةُ وَالْكَذِبُ وَالْقَتْلُ وَالسَّرِقَةُ وَالْفِسْقُ. قَدْ تَخَطَّوْا كُلَّ حَدٍّ، وَسَفْكُ الدَّمِ يَعْقُبُهُ سَفْكُ دَمٍ.

to swear and to deceive and to murder and to steal and to commit adultery to break through and blood in/on/with blood to touch

٣ 3 لِذَلِكَ تَنُوحُ الأَرْضُ، وَيَذْوِي كُلُّ مُقِيمٍ فِيهَا، فَضْلاً عَنْ وَحْشِ الْبَرِّ وَطَيْرِ السَّمَاءِ، بَلْ سَمَكُ الْبَحْرِ يُسْتَأْصَلُ أَيْضاً.

upon so to mourn [the] land: country/planet and to weaken all to dwell in/on/with her in/on/with living thing [the] land: country and in/on/with bird [the] heaven and also fish [the] sea to gather

٤ 4 وَلَكِنْ لَا يُخَاصِمُ أَحَدٌ أَحَداً، وَلا يَتَّهِمُهُ لأَنَّ دَعْوَايَ هِي ضِدَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْكَهَنَةُ.

surely man: anyone not to contend and not to rebuke man: anyone and people your like/as to contend priest

٥ 5 إِنَّكَ تَتَعَثَّرُ فِي النَّهَارِ، وَيَكْبُو النَّبِيُّ مَعَكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ، وَأَنَا أُدَمِّرُ أُمَّكُمْ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

and to stumble [the] day and to stumble also prophet with you night and to cease mother your

٦ 6 قَدْ هَلَكَ شَعْبِي لافْتِقَارِهِ إِلَى الْمَعْرِفَةِ، وَلأَنَّكَ رَفَضْتَ الْمَعْرِفَةَ فَأَنَا أَرْفُضُكَ فَلا تَكُونُ لِي كَاهِناً، أَنْتَ تَجَاهَلْتَ شَرِيعَتِي لِذَلِكَ أَنَا أَنْسَى أَبْنَاءَكَ.

to cease people my from without [the] knowledge for you(m. s.) [the] knowledge to reject and to reject you from to minister to/for me and to forget instruction God your to forget son: child your also I

٧ 7 وَبِقَدْرِ مَا تَكَاثَرُوا تَفَاقَمَتْ خَطِيئَتُهُمْ، لِذَلِكَ أُحَوِّلُ مَجْدَهُمْ إِلَى عَارٍ.

like/as to multiply they so to sin to/for me glory their in/on/with dishonor to change

٨ 8 يَأْكُلُونَ مِنْ ذَبَائِحِ خَطِيئَةِ شَعْبِي وَيَفْرَحُونَ لِتَمَادِيهِمْ فِي الإِثْمِ لِيَكْثُرَ نَصِيبُهُمْ مِنْهَا.

sin people my to eat and to(wards) iniquity: crime their to lift: trust soul: appetite his

٩ 9 فَيُصْبِحُ الشَّعْبُ كَالْكَاهِنِ. وَأُعَاقِبُهُمْ جَمِيعاً عَلَى سُوءِ تَصَرُّفَاتِهِمْ وَأَجْزِيهِمْ عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ.

and to be like/as people like/as priest and to reckon: punish upon him way: conduct his and deed his to return: pay to/for him

١٠ 10 فَيَأْكُلُونَ وَلا يَشْبَعُونَ، وَيَزْنُونَ وَلا يَتَكَاثَرُونَ، لأَنَّهُمْ نَبَذُوا الرَّبَّ وَاسْتَسْلَمُوا إِلَى الْعَهَارَةِ.

and to eat and not to satisfy to fornicate and not to break through for [obj] LORD to leave: forsake to/for to keep: look at

١١ 11 قَدْ سَلَبَتِ الْخَمْرَةُ الْمُعَتَّقَةُ وَالْجَدِيدَةُ عُقُولَ شَعْبِي

fornication and wine and new wine to take: take heart

١٢ 12 فَيَطْلُبُونَ مَشُورَةَ قِطْعَةِ خَشَبٍ وَيَسْأَلُونَ عَصاً! لأَنَّ رُوحَ زِنىً قَدْ أَضَلَّهُمْ فَنَبَذُوا إِلَهَهُمْ وَزَنَوْا وَرَاءَ آخَرَ.

١٣ 13 ذَبَحُوا عَلَى قِمَمِ الْجِبَالِ وَأَصْعَدُوا تَقْدِمَاتِهِمْ عَلَى التِّلالِ وَتَحْتَ شَجَرِ الْبَلُّوطِ وَاللُّبْنَى وَالْبُطْمِ لِطِيبِ ظِلِّهَا. لِذَلِكَ تَزْنِي بَنَاتُكُمْ وَتَفْسِقُ كَنَّاتُكُمْ.

١٤ 14 وَلَكِنِّي لَنْ أُعَاقِبَ بَنَاتِكُمْ حِينَ يَزْنِينَ، وَلا كَنَّاتِكُمْ حِينَ يَفْسِقْنَ لأَنَّ الرِّجَالَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ قَدْ تَوَرَّطُوا مَعَ الزَّانِيَاتِ، وَذَبَحُوا مُحَرَّمَاتٍ مَعَ بَغَايَا الْمَعَابِدِ الْوَثَنِيَّةِ، وَالشَّعْبُ غَيْرُ الْمُتَعَقِّلِ يَلْحَقُ بِهِ الدَّمَارُ.

not to reckon: punish upon daughter your for to fornicate and upon daughter-in-law: bride your for to commit adultery for they(masc.) with [the] to fornicate to separate and with [the] cult prostitute to sacrifice and people not to understand to ruin

١٥ 15 فَإِنْ كُنْتَ يَا شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ زَانِياً، فَلا تَجْعَلْ يَهُوذَا يَأْثَمُ أَوْ يَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْجِلْجَالِ أَوْ إِلَى بَيْتِ آوَنَ وَلا يَحْلِفُ قَائِلاً: حَيٌّ هُوَ الرَّبُّ.

if to fornicate you(m. s.) Israel not be guilty Judah and not to come (in): come [the] Gilgal and not to ascend: rise Beth-aven Beth-aven and not to swear alive LORD

١٦ 16 إِنَّ إِسْرَائِيلَ شَعْبٌ عَنِيدٌ كَعِجْلَةٍ جَامِحَةٍ، فَكَيْفَ يَرْعَاهُمُ الرَّبُّ كَحَمَلٍ فِي مَرْجٍ رَحْبٍ؟

١٧ 17 إِنَّ أَفْرَايِمَ مُكَبَّلٌ بِعِبَادَةِ الأَصْنَامِ، فَاتْرُكُوهُ وَحِيداً.

١٨ 18 وَحَالَمَا يَنْضُبُ خَمْرُهُمْ يَنْغَمِسُونَ فِي فَسَادِهِمْ، مُفَضِّلِينَ الْعَارَ عَلَى الشَّرَفِ.

١٩ 19 قَدْ صَرَّتْهُمُ الرِّيحُ فِي أَجْنِحَتِهَا، وَأَنْزَلَتْ بِهِمْ ذَبَائِحُهُمُ الْوَثَنِيَّةُ الْعَارَ.
