< تكوين 42 >
وَعِنْدَمَا رَأَى يَعْقُوبُ أَنَّ الْقَمْحَ مُتَوَافِرٌ فِي مِصْرَ، قَالَ لأَبْنَائِهِ: «مَا بَالُكُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ؟ | ١ 1 |
and to see: examine Jacob for there grain in/on/with Egypt and to say Jacob to/for son: child his to/for what? to see: see
لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ الْقَمْحَ مُتَوَافِرٌ فِي مِصْرَ. فَانْحَدِرُوا إِلَى هُنَاكَ وَاشْتَرُوا لَنَا قَمْحاً لِنَبْقَى عَلَى قَيْدِ الْحَيَاةِ وَلا نَمُوتَ». | ٢ 2 |
and to say behold to hear: hear for there grain in/on/with Egypt to go down there [to] and to buy grain to/for us from there and to live and not to die
فَذَهَبَ عَشَرَةٌ مِنْ إِخْوَةِ يُوسُفَ لِيَشْتَرُوا قَمْحاً مِنْ مِصْرَ، | ٣ 3 |
and to go down brother: male-sibling Joseph ten to/for to buy grain grain from Egypt
أَمَّا بَنْيَامِينُ أَخُو يُوسُفَ فَلَمْ يُرْسِلْهُ يَعْقُوبُ مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِ خَوْفاً مِنْ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ مَكْرُوهٌ. | ٤ 4 |
and [obj] Benjamin brother: male-sibling Joseph not to send: depart Jacob with brother: male-sibling his for to say lest to encounter: chanced him harm
فَقَدِمَ أَبْنَاءُ إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى مِصْرَ مَعَ جُمْلَةِ الْقَادِمِينَ لِيَشْتَرُوا قَمْحاً، لأَنَّ الْمَجَاعَةَ كَانَتْ قَدْ أَصَابَتْ أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ أَيْضاً. | ٥ 5 |
and to come (in): come son: child Israel to/for to buy grain in/on/with midst [the] to come (in): come for to be [the] famine in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan
وَكَانَ يُوسُفُ هُوَ الْمُتَسَلِّطُ عَلَى مِصْرَ، وَالْقَائِمُ عَلَى بَيْعِ الْقَمْحِ لأَهْلِهَا جَمِيعاً. فَأَقْبَلَ إِخْوَةُ يُوسُفَ وَسَجَدُوا لَهُ بِوُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَى الأَرْضِ. | ٦ 6 |
and Joseph he/she/it [the] domineering upon [the] land: country/planet he/she/it [the] to buy grain to/for all people [the] land: country/planet and to come (in): come brother: male-sibling Joseph and to bow to/for him face land: soil [to]
فَلَمَّا رَآهُمْ عَرَفَهُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُ تَنَكَّرَ لَهُمْ وَخَاطَبَهُمْ بِجَفَاءٍ وَسَأَلَهُمْ: «مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُمْ؟» فَأَجَابُوهُ: «مِنْ أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ لِنَشْتَرِيَ طَعَاماً». | ٧ 7 |
and to see: see Joseph [obj] brother: male-sibling his and to recognize them and to alienate to(wards) them and to speak: speak with them severe and to say to(wards) them from where? to come (in): come and to say from land: country/planet Canaan to/for to buy grain food
وَمَعَ أَنَّ يُوسُفَ عَرَفَهُمْ، إِلّا أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوهُ. | ٨ 8 |
and to recognize Joseph [obj] brother: male-sibling his and they(masc.) not to recognize him
ثُمَّ تَذَكَّرَ يُوسُفُ أَحْلامَهُ الَّتِي حَلَمَهَا بِشَأْنِهِمْ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «أَنْتُمْ جَوَاسِيسُ، وَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ لاكْتِشَافِ ثُغُورِنَا غَيْرِ الْمَحْمِيَّةِ» | ٩ 9 |
and to remember Joseph [obj] [the] dream which to dream to/for them and to say to(wards) them to spy you(m. p.) to/for to see: see [obj] nakedness [the] land: country/planet to come (in): come
فَقَالُوا لَهُ: «لا يَا سَيِّدِي إِنَّمَا قَدِمَ عَبِيدُكَ لِشِرَاءِ الطَّعَامِ، | ١٠ 10 |
and to say to(wards) him not lord my and servant/slave your to come (in): come to/for to buy grain food
فَنَحْنُ كُلُّنَا أَبْنَاءُ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ، نَحْنُ أُمَنَاءُ وَلَيْسَ عَبِيدُكَ جَوَاسِيسَ». | ١١ 11 |
all our son: child man one we right we not to be servant/slave your to spy
وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ لَهُمْ: «لا! أَنْتُمْ قَدْ جِئْتُمْ لاكْتِشَافِ ثُغُورِنَا غَيْرِ الْمَحْمِيَّةِ» | ١٢ 12 |
and to say to(wards) them not for nakedness [the] land: country/planet to come (in): come to/for to see: see
فَأَجَابُوهُ: «إِنَّ عَبِيدَكَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَخاً، أَبْنَاءُ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ مُقِيمٍ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. وَقَدْ بَقِيَ أَخُونَا الصَّغِيرُ عِنْدَ أَبِينَا الْيَوْمَ، وَالآخَرُ مَفْقُودٌ». | ١٣ 13 |

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «إِنَّ الأَمْرَ كَمَا قُلْتُ لَكُمْ! أَنْتُمْ جَوَاسِيسُ. | ١٤ 14 |

وَحَيَاةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تُغَادِرُوا هُنَا حَتَّى تَأْتُوا بِأَخِيكُمُ الأَصْغَرِ، وَبِذَلِكَ تُثْبِتُونَ صِدْقَكُمْ. | ١٥ 15 |

أَوْفِدُوا وَاحِداً مِنْكُمْ لِيَأْتِيَ بِأَخِيكُمْ، أَمَّا بَقِيَّتُكُمْ فَتَمْكُثُونَ فِي السِّجْنِ حَتَّى تَثْبُتَ صِحَّةُ كَلامِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ. وَإلَّا فَوَحَيَاةِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَنْتُمْ لَسْتُمْ سِوَى جَوَاسِيسَ». | ١٦ 16 |
to send: depart from you one and to take: bring [obj] brother: male-sibling your and you(m. p.) to bind and to test word your truth: true with you and if not alive Pharaoh for to spy you(m. p.)
وَطَرَحَهُمْ فِي السِّجْنِ مَعاً ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ. | ١٧ 17 |
and to gather [obj] them to(wards) custody three day
وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ قَالَ لَهُمْ: «افْعَلُوا مَا أَطْلُبُهُ مِنْكُمْ فَتَحْيَوْا، فَأَنَا رَجُلٌ أَتَّقِي اللهَ. | ١٨ 18 |
and to say to(wards) them Joseph in/on/with day [the] third this to make: do and to live [obj] [the] God I afraid
إِنْ كُنْتُمْ حَقّاً صَادِقِينَ فَلْيَبْقَ وَاحِدٌ مِنْكُمْ رَهِينَةً، بَيْنَمَا يَأْخُذُ بَقِيَّتُكُمُ الْقَمْحَ وَيَنْطَلِقُونَ إِلَى بُيُوتِكُمُ الْجَائِعَةِ. | ١٩ 19 |
if right you(m. p.) brother: male-sibling your one to bind in/on/with house: home custody your and you(m. p.) to go: went to come (in): bring grain famine house: household your
وَلَكِنْ إِيتُونِي بِأَخِيكُمُ الأَصْغَرِ فَأَتَحَقَّقَ بِذَلِكَ مِنْ صِدْقِكُمْ وَلا تَمُوتُوا». فَوَافَقُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ. | ٢٠ 20 |

وَقَالُوا: «حَقّاً إِنَّنَا أَذْنَبْنَا فِي حَقِّ أَخِينَا. لَقَدْ رَأَيْنَا ضِيقَةَ نَفْسِهِ عِنْدَمَا اسْتَرْحَمَنَا فَلَمْ نَسْمَعْ لَهُ. لِذَلِكَ أَصَابَتْنَا هَذِهِ الضِّيقَةُ» | ٢١ 21 |

فَقَالَ رَأُوبَيْنُ: «أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ لَا تَجْنُوا عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا؟ وَالآنَ هَا نَحْنُ مُطَالَبُونَ بِدَمِهِ». | ٢٢ 22 |
and to answer Reuben [obj] them to/for to say not to say to(wards) you to/for to say not to sin in/on/with youth and not to hear: hear and also blood his behold to seek
وَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ يُوسُفَ كَانَ فَاهِماً حَدِيثَهُمْ، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ يُخَاطِبُهُمْ عَنْ طَرِيقِ مُتَرْجِمٍ. | ٢٣ 23 |

فَتَحَوَّلَ عَنْهُمْ وَبَكَى، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَخَاطَبَهُمْ، وَأَخَذَ شِمْعُونَ وَقَيَّدَهُ أَمَامَ عُيُونِهِمْ. | ٢٤ 24 |
and to turn: turn from upon them and to weep and to return: return to(wards) them and to speak: speak to(wards) them and to take: take from with them [obj] Simeon and to bind [obj] him to/for eye: before(the eyes) their
ثُمَّ أَمَرَ يُوسُفُ مُوَظَّفِيهِ أَنْ يَمْلَأُوا أَكْيَاسَهُمْ بِالْقَمْحِ، وَأَنْ يَرُدُّوا فِضَّةَ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى كِيسِهِ، وَأَنْ يُعْطُوهُمْ زَاداً لِلطَّرِيقِ. فَفَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ. | ٢٥ 25 |
and to command Joseph and to fill [obj] article/utensil their grain and to/for to return: return silver: money their man: anyone to(wards) sackcloth his and to/for to give: give to/for them provision to/for way: journey and to make: do to/for them so
فَحَمَّلُوا حَمِيرَهُمُ الْقَمْحَ وَانْطَلَقُوا مِنْ هُنَاكَ. | ٢٦ 26 |
and to lift: bear [obj] grain their upon donkey their and to go: went from there
وَحِينَ فَتَحَ أَحَدُهُمْ كِيسَهُ فِي الْخَانِ لِيَعْلِفَ حِمَارَهُ، لَمَحَ فِضَّتَهُ لأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ مَوْضُوعَةً فِي فَمِ الْكِيسِ. | ٢٧ 27 |
and to open [the] one [obj] sackcloth his to/for to give: give fodder to/for donkey his in/on/with lodging and to see: see [obj] silver: money his and behold he/she/it in/on/with lip sack his
فَقَالَ لإِخْوَتِهِ: «لَقَدْ رُدَّتْ إِلَيَّ فِضَّتِي، انْظُرُوا هَا هِيَ فِي كِيسِي». فَغَاصَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ، وَتَطَلَّعَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ مُرْتَعِدِينَ وَقَالُوا: «مَا هَذَا الَّذِي فَعَلَهُ اللهُ بِنَا؟». | ٢٨ 28 |

وَعِنْدَمَا قَدِمُوا عَلَى أَبِيهِمْ يَعْقُوبَ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ قَصُّوا عَلَيْهِ مَا حَلَّ بِهِمْ، وَقَالُوا: | ٢٩ 29 |
and to come (in): come to(wards) Jacob father their land: country/planet [to] Canaan and to tell to/for him [obj] all [the] to meet [obj] them to/for to say
«الرَّجُلُ الْمُتَسَلِّطُ عَلَى مِصْرَ خَاطَبَنَا بِجَفَاءٍ، وَظَنَّ أَنَّنَا جَوَاسِيسُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، | ٣٠ 30 |
to speak: speak [the] man lord [the] land: country/planet with us severe and to give: make [obj] us like/as to spy [obj] [the] land: country/planet
فَقُلْنَا لَهُ: نَحْنُ أُمَنَاءُ وَلَسْنَا جَوَاسِيسَ. | ٣١ 31 |
and to say to(wards) him right we not to be to spy
نَحْنُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَخاً أَبْنَاءُ أَبِينَا. أَحَدُنَا مَفْقُودٌ، وَالأَصْغَرُ بَقِيَ الْيَوْمَ مَعَ أَبِينَا فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. | ٣٢ 32 |

فَقَالَ لَنَا الرَّجُلُ سَيِّدُ الْبِلادِ: لِكَيْ أَتَحَقَّقَ مِنْ كَوْنِكُمْ أُمَنَاءَ. دَعُوا أَخاً وَاحِداً مِنْكُمْ عِنْدِي رَهِينَةً وَخُذُوا طَعَاماً لِبُيُوتِكُمُ الْجَائِعَةِ وَامْضُوا، | ٣٣ 33 |
and to say to(wards) us [the] man lord [the] land: country/planet in/on/with this to know for right you(m. p.) brother: male-sibling your [the] one to rest with me and [obj] famine house: household your to take: take and to go: went
ثُمَّ أَحْضِرُوا لِي أَخَاكُمُ الأَصْغَرَ، وَبَذَلِكَ أَعْرِفُ أَنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ جَوَاسِيسَ بَلْ قَوْماً أُمَنَاءَ، فَأُطْلِقَ لَكُمْ أَخَاكُمْ وَتَتَّجِرُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ». | ٣٤ 34 |

وَإِذْ شَرَعُوا فِي تَفْرِيغِ أَكْيَاسِهِمْ وَجَدَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ فِضَّتَهُ فِي كِيسِهِ، وَمَا إِنْ رَأَوْا هُمْ وَأَبُوهُمْ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى اسْتَبَدَّ بِهِمِ الْخَوْفُ. | ٣٥ 35 |
and to be they(masc.) to empty sackcloth their and behold man: anyone bundle silver: money his in/on/with sackcloth his and to see: see [obj] bundle silver: money their they(masc.) and father their and to fear
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَبُوهُمْ: «لَقَدْ أَثْكَلْتُمُونِي أَوْلادِي. يُوسُفُ مَفْقُودٌ، وَشِمْعُونُ مَفْقُودٌ، وَهَا أَنْتُمْ تَأْخُذُونَ بِنْيَامِينَ بَعِيداً! كُلُّ هَذِهِ الدَّوَاهِي حَلَّتْ بِي!» | ٣٦ 36 |
and to say to(wards) them Jacob father their [obj] me be bereaved Joseph nothing he and Simeon nothing he and [obj] Benjamin to take: take upon me to be all their
فَقَالَ لَهُ رَأُوبَيْنُ: «اقْتُلِ ابْنَيَّ إِنْ لَمْ أَرْجِعْ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ. اعْهَدْ بِهِ إِلَيَّ وَأَنَا أَرُدُّهُ إِلَيْكَ». | ٣٧ 37 |
and to say Reuben to(wards) father his to/for to say [obj] two son: child my to die if not to come (in): bring him to(wards) you to give: put [emph?] [obj] him upon hand my and I to return: return him to(wards) you
فَقَالَ: «لَنْ يَذْهَبَ ابْنِي مَعَكُمْ، فَقَدْ مَاتَ أَخُوهُ، وَهُوَ وَحْدَهُ بَاقٍ. فَإِنْ نَالَهُ مَكْرُوهٌ فِي الطَّرِيقِ الَّتِي تَذْهَبُونَ فِيهَا، فَإِنَّكُمْ تُنْزِلُونَ شَيْبَتِي بِحُزْنٍ إِلَى قَبْرِي». (Sheol ) | ٣٨ 38 |
