تكوين 34
| وَخَرَجَتْ دِينَةُ ابْنَةُ لَيْئَةَ الَّتِي أَنْجَبَتْهَا لِيَعْقُوبَ لِتَتَعَرَّفَ عَلَى بَنَاتِ الْمِنْطَقَةِ الْمُحِيطَةِ، | ١ 1 |
and to come out: come Dinah daughter Leah which to beget to/for Jacob to/for to see: see in/on/with daughter [the] land: country/planet
| فَرَآهَا شَكِيمُ بنُ حَمُورَ الْحِوِّيِّ، رَئِيسِ الْمِنْطَقَةِ، فَأَخَذَهَا وَاغْتَصَبَهَا وَلَوَّثَ شَرَفَهَا، | ٢ 2 |
and to see: see [obj] her Shechem son: child Hamor [the] Hivite leader [the] land: country/planet and to take: take [obj] her and to lie down: have sex with her and to afflict her
| وَأُغْرِمَ قَلْبُهُ بِدِينَةَ وَلاطَفَهَا. | ٣ 3 |
and to cleave soul his in/on/with Dinah daughter Jacob and to love: lover [obj] [the] maiden and to speak: speak upon heart [the] maiden
| وَقَالَ شَكِيمُ لِحَمُورَ أَبِيهِ: «خُذْ لِي هَذِهِ الْفَتَاةَ زَوْجَةً». | ٤ 4 |
and to say Shechem to(wards) Hamor father his to/for to say to take: take to/for me [obj] [the] maiden [the] this to/for woman: wife
| وَسَمِعَ يَعْقُوبُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ لَوَّثَ شَرَفَ ابْنَتِهِ دِينَةَ. وَكَانَ بَنُوهُ آنَئِذٍ يَرْعَوْنَ مَوَاشِيَهِ فِي الْحَقْلِ، فَسَكَتَ حَتَّى رَجَعُوا. | ٥ 5 |
and Jacob to hear: hear for to defile [obj] Dinah daughter his and son: child his to be with livestock his in/on/with land: country and be quiet Jacob till to come (in): come they
| وَوَفَدَ حَمُورُ وَالِدُ شَكِيمَ عَلَى يَعْقُوبَ لِيُخَاطِبَهُ بِشَأْنِ دِينَةَ | ٦ 6 |

| وَأَتَى بَنُو يَعْقُوبَ مِنَ الْحَقْلِ عِنْدَمَا سَمِعُوا بِالأَمْرِ، وَقَدِ اسْتَشَاطُوا غَضَباً وَغَيْظاً لأَنَّ شَكِيمَ قَدِ ارْتَكَبَ فَاحِشَةً فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِمُضَاجَعَةِ ابْنَةِ يَعْقُوبَ، وَهُوَ أَمْرٌ مَحْظُورٌ. | ٧ 7 |

| وَقَالَ حَمُورُ: «لَقَدْ تَعَلَّقَتْ نَفْسُ ابْنِي شَكِيمَ بِابْنَتِكُمْ، فَأَطْلُبُ إِلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُزَوِّجُوهُ مِنْهَا. | ٨ 8 |
and to speak: speak Hamor with them to/for to say Shechem son: child my to desire soul his in/on/with daughter your to give: give(marriage) please [obj] her to/for him to/for woman: wife
| صَاهِرُونَا، وَزَوِّجُونَا بَنَاتِكُمْ، وَتَزَوَّجُوا مِنْ بَنَاتِنَا، | ٩ 9 |
and be related with us daughter your to give: give(marriage) to/for us and [obj] daughter our to take: take to/for you
| وَاسْكُنُوا مَعَنَا، فَهَا هِيَ الأَرْضُ أَمَامَكُمْ. أَقِيمُوا بِها وَاتَّجِرُوا وَتَمَلَّكُوا فِيهَا». | ١٠ 10 |
and with us to dwell and [the] land: country/planet to be to/for face: before your to dwell and to trade her and to grasp in/on/with her
| وَقَالَ شَكِيمُ لأَبِيهَا وَإِخْوَتِهَا: «دَعُونِي أَحْظَى بِرِضَاكُمْ، وَكُلُّ مَا تَسْأَلُونَهُ أُعْطِيهِ. | ١١ 11 |

| أَغْلُوا عَلَيَّ الْمَهْرَ وَالْهَدِيَّةَ فَأَبْذُلَهُمَا كَمَا تَطْلُبُونَ، إِنَّمَا زَوِّجُونِي مِنَ الْفَتَاةِ». | ١٢ 12 |
to multiply upon me much brideprice and gift and to give: give like/as as which to say to(wards) me and to give: give to/for me [obj] [the] maiden to/for woman: wife
| وَأَجَابَ أَبْنَاءُ يَعْقُوبَ شَكِيمَ وَأَبَاهُ حَمُورَ بِدَهَاءٍ، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَدْ لَوَّثَ شَرَفَ أُخْتِهِمْ، | ١٣ 13 |
and to answer son: child Jacob [obj] Shechem and [obj] Hamor father his in/on/with deceit and to speak: speak which to defile [obj] Dinah sister their
| وَقَالُوا لَهُمَا: «لا يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يَحْدُثَ هَذَا الأَمْرُ فَنُعْطِيَ أُخْتَنَا لأَغْلَفَ، لأَنَّ هَذَا عَارٌ عَلَيْنَا. | ١٤ 14 |
and to say to(wards) them not be able to/for to make: do [the] word: thing [the] this to/for to give: give [obj] sister our to/for man which to/for him foreskin for reproach he/she/it to/for us
| غَيْرَ أَنَّنَا نُوَافِقُ عَلَى طَلَبِكُمْ إِنْ صِرْتُمْ مِثْلَنَا، وَاخْتَتَنَ كُلُّ ذَكَرٍ مِنْكُمْ، | ١٥ 15 |

| عِنْدَئِذٍ نُزَوِّجُكُمْ بَنَاتِنَا، وَنَتَزَوَّجُ مِنْ بَنَاتِكُمْ، فَنُقِيمُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَنُصْبِحُ شَعْباً وَاحِداً، | ١٦ 16 |
and to give: give(marriage) [obj] daughter our to/for you and [obj] daughter your to take: take to/for us and to dwell with you and to be to/for people one
| وَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْمَعُوا لَنَا وَتَخْتَتِنُوا، نَأْخُذُ ابْنَتَنَا وَنَمْضِي». | ١٧ 17 |
and if not to hear: hear to(wards) us to/for to circumcise and to take: take [obj] daughter our and to go: went
| فَاسْتَحْسَنَ حَمُورُ وَوَلَدُهُ شَكِيمُ كَلامَهُمْ، | ١٨ 18 |

| وَلَمْ يَتَوَانَ الشَّابُ عَنْ تَنْفِيذِ الأَمْرِ، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ مُغْرَماً بِابْنَةِ يَعْقُوبَ، وَكَانَ أَكْرَمَ جَمِيعِ بَيْتِ أَبِيهِ. | ١٩ 19 |
and not to delay [the] youth to/for to make: do [the] word: thing for to delight in in/on/with daughter Jacob and he/she/it to honor: honour from all house: household father his
| فَجَاءَ حَمُورُ وَشَكِيمُ ابْنُهُ إِلَى مَجْلِسِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَقَالا لِرِجَالِهَا: | ٢٠ 20 |
and to come (in): come Hamor and Shechem son: child his to(wards) gate city their and to speak: speak to(wards) human city their to/for to say
| «إِنَّ هَؤُلاءِ الْقَوْمَ مُسَالِمُونَ لَنَا، فَلْنَدَعْهُمْ يُقِيمُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَيَتَّجِرُونَ فِيهَا، فَالأَرْضُ رَحْبَةٌ أَمَامَهُمْ، وَلْنَتَزَوَّجْ بَنَاتِهِمْ وَهُمْ يَتَزَوَّجُونَ بَنَاتِنَا. | ٢١ 21 |

| وَقَدِ اشْتَرَطُوا لِلإِقَامَةِ بَيْنَنَا وَأَنْ نُصْبِحَ شَعْباً وَاحِداً، أَنْ يَخْتَتِنَ كُلُّ ذَكَرٍ كَمَا هُمْ | ٢٢ 22 |
surely in/on/with this to consent to/for us [the] human to/for to dwell with us to/for to be to/for people one in/on/with to circumcise to/for us all male like/as as which they(masc.) to circumcise
| عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تُصْبِحُ مَاشِيَتُهُمْ وَمُقْتَنَيَاتُهُمْ وَكُلُّ بَهَائِمِهِمْ مِلْكاً لَنَا. فَلْنُوَافِقْهُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَيُقِيمُوا مَعَنَا». | ٢٣ 23 |

| فَوَافَقَ جَمِيعُ الْحَاضِرِينَ فِي مَجْلِسِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى كَلامِ حَمُورَ وَابْنِهِ شَكِيمَ، فَاخْتَتَنَ كُلُّ ذَكَرٍ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ. | ٢٤ 24 |
and to hear: hear to(wards) Hamor and to(wards) Shechem son: child his all to come out: come gate city his and to circumcise all male all to come out: come gate city his
| وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ، بَيْنَمَا هُمْ مَازَالُوا مُتَوَجِّعِينَ، تَقَلَّدَ شِمْعُونَ وَلاوِي ابْنَا يَعْقُوبَ وَأَخَوَيْ دِينَةَ، سَيْفَيهِمَا، وَدَخَلا الْمَدِينَةَ بِجَرَاءَةٍ وَقَتَلا كُلَّ الذُّكُورِ. | ٢٥ 25 |

| وَقَتَلا أَيْضاً حَمُورَ وَشَكِيمَ بِحَدِّ السَّيْفِ، وَأَنْقَذَا دِينَةَ مِنْ بَيْتِ شَكِيمَ وَخَرَجَا. | ٢٦ 26 |
and [obj] Hamor and [obj] Shechem son: child his to kill to/for lip sword and to take: take [obj] Dinah from house: household Shechem and to come out: come
| ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ بَنُو يَعْقُوبَ عَلَى الْقَتْلَى وَنَهَبُوا الْمَدِينَةَ لأَنَّهُمْ لَوَّثُوا شَرَفَ أُخْتِهِمْ، | ٢٧ 27 |
son: child Jacob to come (in): come upon [the] slain: killed and to plunder [the] city which to defile sister their
| وَاسْتَوْلَوْا عَلَى غَنَمِهِمْ وَبَقَرِهِمْ وَحَمِيرِهِمْ وَعَلَى كُلِّ مَا فِي الْمَدِينَةِ وَفِي الْحَقْلِ، | ٢٨ 28 |

| وَسَبَوْا وَنَهَبُوا جَمِيعَ ثَرْوَتِهِمْ وَكُلَّ أَطْفَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ وَكُلَّ مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ. | ٢٩ 29 |
and [obj] all strength: rich their and [obj] all child their and [obj] woman: wife their to take captive and to plunder and [obj] all which in/on/with house: household
| فَقَالَ يَعْقُوبُ لِشِمْعُونَ وَلاوِي: «لَقَدْ جَلَبْتُمَا عَلَيَّ الشَّقَاءَ وَكَرَاهِيَةَ الْكَنْعَانِيِّينَ وَالْفِرِزِّيِّينَ السَّاكِنِينَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبِلادِ. وَهَا أَنَا نَفَرٌ قَلِيلٌ، فَيَتَأَلَّبُونَ عَلَيَّ وَيَقْتُلُونَنِي، فَأَبِيدُ أَنَا وَبَيْتِي». | ٣٠ 30 |
