خرُوج 40

١ 1 وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى:

And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide,

٢ 2 «تُقِيمُ مَسْكَنَ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الأَوَّلِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الأَوَّلِ (مِنَ السَّنَةِ الْعِبْرِيَّةِ).

In the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, thou schalt reise the tabernacle of witnessyng.

٣ 3 وَتَضَعُ فِيهِ تَابُوتَ الشَّهَادَةِ الَّذِي فِيهِ الْوَصَايَا الْعَشَرُ، وَتَسْتُرُهُ بِالْحِجَابِ.

And thou schalt sette the arke therynne, and thou schalt leeue a veil bifore it.

٤ 4 ثُمَّ تُدْخِلُ الْمَائِدَةَ وَتُرَتِّبُ أَوَانِيهَا عَلَيْهَا، وَأَيْضاً الْمَنَارَةَ وَتُضِيءُ سُرُجَهَا.

And whanne the bord is borun yn, thou schalt sette ther onne tho thingis, that ben comaundid iustli. The candilstike schal stonde with hise lanternes,

٥ 5 وَتَضَعُ مَذْبَحَ الْبَخُورِ الذَّهَبِيَّ أَمَامَ تَابُوتِ الشَّهَادَةِ الْقَائِمِ وَرَاءَ الْحِجَابِ، وَتُعَلِّقُ سَتَائِرَ بَابِ الْمَسْكَنِ.

and the goldun auter, where ynne encense is brent bifor the arke of witnessyng. Thou schalt sette a tente in the entryng of the tabernacle;

٦ 6 وَتَجْعَلُ مَذْبَحَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ النُّحَاسِيَّ أَمَامَ بَابِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ.

and bifor it the auter of brent sacrifice,

٧ 7 ثُمَّ تَضَعُ حَوْضَ الاغْتِسَالِ بَيْنَ الْمَسْكَنِ وَالْمَذْبَحِ، وَامْلأْهُ بِالْمَاءِ.

the `waischyng vessel bitwixe the auter and the tabernacle, which `waischyng vessel thou schalt fille with water.

٨ 8 وَتَنْصِبُ سَتَائِرَ السَّاحَةِ الْمُحِيطَةِ بِالْمَسْكَنِ، وَتُعَلِّقُ سِتَارَ مَدْخَلِهَا.

And thou schalt cumpas the greet street, and the entryng ther of with tentis.

٩ 9 وَتَأْخُذُ دُهْنَ الْمَسْحَةِ وَتَمْسَحُ بِهِ الْخَيْمَةَ وَكُلَّ مَا فِيهَا، وَتُقَدِّسُ جَمِيعَ أَوَانِيهَا لِتَكُونَ مُخَصَّصَةً لِي.

And whanne thou hast take oyle of anoyntyng, thou schalt anoynte the tabernacle, with hise vessels, that tho be halewid;

١٠ 10 وَتَمْسَحُ أَيْضاً مَذْبَحَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ وَجَمِيعَ أَوَانِيهِ وَتُقَدِّسُهُ لِيَكُونَ قُدْسَ أَقْدَاسٍ.

the auter of brent sacrifice, and alle vessels ther of; the `waischyng vessel,

١١ 11 وَكَذَلِكَ تَمْسَحُ حَوْضَ الاغْتِسَالِ وَقَاعِدَتَهُ وَتُقَدِّسُهُ.

with his foundement. Thou schalt anoynte alle thingis with the oile of anoyntyng, that tho be hooli of hooli thingis.

١٢ 12 وَتُحْضِرُ هَرُونَ وَبَنِيهِ إِلَى مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ وَتَغْسِلُهُمْ بِمَاءٍ.

And thou schalt present Aaron and hise sones to the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;

١٣ 13 وَتُلْبِسُ هَرُونَ ثِيَابَهُ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ، وَتَمْسَحُهُ وَتُكَرِّسُهُ كَاهِناً لِخِدْمَتِي.

١٤ 14 ثُمَّ تُحْضِرُ بَنِيهِ وَتُلْبِسُهُمْ أَقْمِصَتَهُمْ أَيْضاً.

١٥ 15 وَتَمْسَحُهُمْ كَمَا مَسَحْتَ أَبَاهُمْ، فَيَكُونُونَ كَهَنَةً لِي. فَتَكُونُ هَذِهِ الْمَسْحَةُ مَسْحَةَ كَهَنُوتٍ لَهُمْ جِيلاً بَعْدَ جِيلٍ».

and, whanne thei ben `waischid in water, thou schalt clothe hem with hooli clothis, that thei mynystre to me, and that the anoyntyng of hem profite in to euerlastynge preesthod.

١٦ 16 فَفَعَلَ مُوسَى كُلَّ مَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الرَّبُّ.

And Moises dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide.

١٧ 17 فَأَقَامَ الْمَسْكَنَ فِي الْيَوْمِ الأَوَّلِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الأَوَّلِ (لِلسَّنَةِ الْعِبْرِيَّةِ).

Therfor in the firste monethe of the secunde yeer, in the firste dai of the monethe, the tabernacle was set.

١٨ 18 وَصَبَّ قَوَاعِدَهُ وَوَضَعَ أَلْوَاحَهُ وَعَوَارِضَهُ، وَنَصَبَ أَعْمِدَتَهُ.

And Moises reiside it, and settide the tablis, and foundementis, and barris, and he ordeynede pilers;

١٩ 19 وَبَسَطَ السَّقْفَ فَوْقَ الْمَسْكَنِ وَوَضَعَ غِطَاءَهُ عَلَيْهِ، كَمَا أَمَرَهُ الرَّبُّ.

and `spredde abrood the roof on the tabernacle, and puttide an hilyng aboue, as the Lord comaundide.

٢٠ 20 ثُمَّ أَخَذَ لَوْحَيِ الْوَصَايَا الْعَشْرِ وَوَضَعَهَا فِي التَّابُوتِ، وَوَضَعَ الْعَصَوَيْنِ عَلَى التَّابُوتِ مِنْ فَوْقُ.

He puttide also the witnessyng in the arke, and he settide barris with ynne, and Goddis answeryng place aboue.

٢١ 21 وَحَمَلَ التَّابُوتَ إِلَى قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ، وَسَتَرَ تَابُوتَ الشَّهَادَةِ بِالْحِجَابِ، كَمَا أَمَرَهُ الرَّبُّ.

And whanne he hadde brouyt the arke in to the tabernacle, he hangide a veil bifor it, that he schulde fille the comaundement of the Lord.

٢٢ 22 وَأَقَامَ الْمَائِدَةَ فِي خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ فِي الْجَانِبِ الشِّمَالِيِّ مِنَ الْمَسْكَنِ خَارِجَ الْحِجَابِ (أَيْ فِي الْقُدْسِ).

He settide also the boord in the tabernacle of witnessyng, at the north coost, without the veil,

٢٣ 23 وَرَتَّبَ مُوسَى خُبْزَ التَّقْدِمَةِ عَلَى الْمَائِدَةِ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ، كَمَا أَمَرَهُ.

and he ordeynede the looues of settyng forth bifore, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

٢٤ 24 ثُمَّ وَضَعَ الْمَنَارَةَ فِي خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ، فِي الْجَانِبِ الْجَنُوبِيِّ مِنَ الْمَسْكَنِ مُقَابِلَ الْمَائِدَةِ.

He settide also the candilstike in the tabernacle of witnessyng, euene ayens the boord,

٢٥ 25 وَأَضَاءَ سُرُجَهَا أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ.

in the south side, and settide lanternes bi ordre, bi the comaundement of the Lord.

٢٦ 26 وَوَضَعَ مَذْبَحَ الذَّهَبِ فِي خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ أَمَامَ الْحِجَابِ.

He puttide also the goldun auter vndur the roof of witnessyng,

٢٧ 27 وَأَحْرَقَ عَلَيْهِ بَخُوراً عَطِراً، كَمَا أَمَرَهُ الرَّبُّ.

ayens the veil, and he brente theronne encense of swete smellynge spiceries, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

٢٨ 28 وَوَضَعَ سِتَارَةً عَلَى مَدْخَلِ الْخَيْمَةِ.

He settide also a tente in the entryng of the tabernacle,

٢٩ 29 وَوَضَعَ مَذْبَحَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ عِنْدَ بَابِ مَسَكَنِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ. وَأَصْعَدَ عَلَيْهِ الْمُحْرَقَةَ وَالتَّقْدِمَةَ، كَمَا أَمَرَهُ الرَّبُّ.

and the auter of brent sacrifice in the porche of the witnessyng, and he offride therynne brent sacrifice, and sacrifices, as the Lord comaundide.

٣٠ 30 وَوَضَعَ حَوْضَ الاغْتِسَالِ بَيْنَ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ وَمَذْبَحِ الْمُحْرَقَةِ. وَمَلأَهُ بِالْمَاءِ لِلاغْتِسَالِ.

Also he ordeynede the `waischyng vessel, bitwixe the tabernacle of witnessyng and the auter, and fillide it with watir.

٣١ 31 لِيَغْسِلَ مُوسَى وَهَرُونُ وَبَنُوهُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ بِمَائِهِ.

And Moises, and Aaron, and his sones, waischiden her hondis and feet,

٣٢ 32 فَيَغْتَسِلُونَ كُلَّمَا دَخَلُوا إِلَى خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ أَوِ اقْتَرَبُوا إِلَى الْمَذْبَحِ، كَمَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى.

whanne thei entriden into the roof of boond of pees, and neiyeden to the auter, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

٣٣ 33 ثُمَّ نَصَبَ مُوسَى جَوَانِبَ السَّاحَةِ الْمُحِيطَةِ بِالْمَسْكَنِ، وَعَلَّقَ سِتَارَ مَدْخَلِهَا. وَهَكَذَا أَكْمَلَ مُوسَى الْعَمَلَ.

He reiside also the greet street, bi the cumpas of the tabernacle and of the auter, and settyde a tente in the entryng therof. Aftir that alle thingis weren perfitli maad,

٣٤ 34 وَمَا لَبِثَتِ السَّحَابَةُ أَنْ غَطَّتْ خَيْمَةَ الاجْتِمَاعِ وَمَلأَ جَلالُ الرَّبِّ الْمَسْكَنَ،

a cloude hilide the tabernacle of witnessyng, and the glorie of the Lord fillide it;

٣٥ 35 فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مُوسَى دُخُولَ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ، لأَنَّ السَّحَابَةَ حَلَّتْ عَلَيْهَا، وَمَجْدَ الرَّبِّ مَلأَ الْمَسْكَنَ.

nether Moyses myyte entre in to the tabernacle of the boond of pees, while the cloude hilide alle thingis, and the maieste of the Lord schynede, for the cloude hilide alle thingis.

٣٦ 36 وَكَانَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا يَرْتَحِلُونَ فِي جَمِيعِ أَسْفَارِهِمْ، إِلا إذَا ارْتَفَعَتِ السَّحَابَةُ عَنِ الْمَسْكَنِ.

If ony tyme the cloude lefte the tabernacle, the sones of Israel yeden forth bi her cumpanyes;

٣٧ 37 وَإِنْ لَمْ تَرْتَفِعْ، يَمْكُثُونَ حَيْثُ هُمْ حَتَّى يَوْمِ ارْتِفَاعِهَا.

if the cloude hangide aboue, thei dwelliden in the same place;

٣٨ 38 وَكَانَتِ السَّحَابَةُ تُغَطِّي الْمَسْكَنَ نَهَاراً، وَتَتَوَهَّجُ مِنْهَا نَارٌ لَيْلاً، عَلَى مَرْأَى كُلِّ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي جَمِيعِ رِحْلاتِهِمْ.

for the cloude of the Lord restide on the tabernacle bi dai, and fier in the nyyt, in the siyt of the puplis of Israel, bi alle her dwellyngis.
