كُولُوسِي 3

١ 1 فَبِمَا أَنَّكُمْ قَدْ قُمْتُمْ مَعَ الْمَسِيحِ، فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى الأُمُورِ الَّتِي فِي الْعُلَى، حَيْثُ الْمَسِيحُ جَالِسٌ عَنْ يَمِينِ اللهِ.

If then you have been raised with Christ, the [things] above do seek, where Christ is at [the] right hand of God sitting;

٢ 2 اُحْصُرُوا اهْتِمَامَكُمْ بِالأُمُورِ الَّتِي فِي الْعُلَى، لَا بِالأُمُورِ الأَرْضِيَّةِ.

The [things] above do set [your] minds on not the [things] on the earth.

٣ 3 فَإِنَّكُمْ قَدْ مُتُّمْ، وَحَيَاتُكُمْ مَسْتُورَةٌ مَعَ الْمَسِيحِ فِي اللهِ.

You have died for and the life of you has been hidden with Christ in God;

٤ 4 فَعِنْدَمَا يُظْهَرُ الْمَسِيحُ، وَهُوَ حَيَاتُنَا، عِنْدَئِذٍ تُظْهَرُونَ أَنْتُمْ أَيْضاً مَعَهُ فِي الْمَجْدِ.

When Christ may be revealed, the life (of you, *N(K)O*) then also you yourselves with Him will appear in glory.

٥ 5 فَأَمِيتُوا إِذَنْ مُيُولَكُمْ الأَرْضِيَّةَ: الزِّنَى، النَّجَاسَةَ، جُمُوحَ الْعَاطِفَةِ، الشَّهْوَةَ الرَّدِيئَةَ، وَالاشْتِهَاءَ النَّهِمَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِبَادَةُ أَصْنَامٍ.

do put to death therefore the members (of you *K*) which [are] upon the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, desire evil and covetousness which is idolatry,

٦ 6 فَبِسَبَبِ هَذِهِ الْخَطَايَا يَنْزِلُ غَضَبُ اللهِ،

because of which things is coming the wrath of God on the sons of disobedience;

٧ 7 وَفِيهَا سَلَكْتُمْ فِي الْمَاضِي، حِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَعِيشُونَ فِيهَا.

in which also you yourselves walked once when you were living in (them. *N(k)O*)

٨ 8 وَأَمَّا الآنَ، فَانْزِعُوا عَنْكُمْ، أَنْتُمْ أَيْضاً، هذِهِ الْخَطَايَا كُلَّهَا: الْغَضَبَ، النَّقْمَةَ، الْخُبْثَ، التَّجْدِيفَ، الْكَلامَ الْقَبِيحَ الْخَارِجَ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِكُمْ.

Now however do put off also you yourselves all [these] things: anger, rage, malice, slander, foul language out of the mouth of you.

٩ 9 لَا يَكْذِبْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى الآخَرِ، إِذْ قَدْ نَزَعْتُمُ الإِنْسَانَ الْعَتِيقَ وَأَعْمَالَهُ

Not do lie to one another having put off the old man with the practices of him

١٠ 10 وَلَبِسْتُمُ الْجَدِيدَ الَّذِي يَتَجَدَّدُ لِبُلُوغِ تَمَامِ الْمَعْرِفَةِ وَفْقاً لِصُورَةِ خَالِقِهِ،

and having put on the new, which is being renewed in knowledge according to [the] image of the [one who] having created him;

١١ 11 وَفِيهِ لَا فَرْقَ بَيْنَ يُونَانِيٍّ وَيَهُودِيٍّ، أَوْ مَخْتُونٍ وَغَيْرِ مَخْتُونٍ، أَوْ مُتَحَضِّرٍ وَغَيْرِ مُتَحَضِّرٍ، أَوْ عَبْدٍ وَحُرٍّ، بَلِ الْمَسِيحُ هُوَ الْكُلُّ وَفِي الْكُلِّ.

where not there is Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, free, but all and in all Christ [is].

١٢ 12 فَبِاعْتِبَارِكُمْ جَمَاعَةً مُخْتَارَةً مِنَ اللهِ، قِدِّيسِينَ مَحْبُوبِينَ، الْبَسُوا دَائِماً مَشَاعِرَ الْحَنَانِ وَاللُّطْفَ وَالتَّوَاضُعَ وَالوَدَاعَةَ وَطُولَ الْبَالِ،

do put on therefore, as [the] elect of God holy and beloved, hearts (of compassion, *N(k)O*) kindness, humility, gentleness, [and] patience;

١٣ 13 مُحْتَمِلِينَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً، وَمُسَامِحِينَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً. إِنْ كَانَ لأَحَدِكُمْ شَكْوَى عَلَى آخَرَ، كَمَا سَامَحَكُمُ الرَّبُّ، هكَذَا افْعَلُوا أَنْتُمْ أَيْضاً.

bearing with each other and forgiving each other If anyone against another shall have a complaint; even as also the (Lord *N(K)O*) has forgiven you, so also you;

١٤ 14 وَفَوْقَ هَذَا كُلِّهِ الْبَسُوا الْمَحَبَّةَ، فَهِيَ رَابِطَةُ الْكَمَالِ.

Beyond all now these [put on] the love, (which *N(k)O*) is [the] bond of perfect unity.

١٥ 15 وَلْيَمْلِكْ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ سَلامُ الْمَسِيحِ، فَإِلَيْهِ قَدْ دُعِيتُمْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْوَاحِدِ؛ وَكُونُوا شَاكِرِينَ!

And the peace (from Christ *N(K)O*) should rule in the hearts of you, to which also you were called in one body; And thankful do be.

١٦ 16 لِتَسْكُنْ كَلِمَةُ الْمَسِيحِ فِي دَاخِلِكُمْ بِغِنىً، فِي كُلِّ حِكْمَةٍ، مُعَلِّمِينَ وَوَاعِظِينَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضَاً، مُرَنِّمِينَ بِمَزَامِيرَ وَتَسَابِيحَ وَأَنَاشِيدَ رُوحِيَّةٍ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ لِلهِ، رَافِعِينَ لَهُ الْحَمْدَ.

The word of Christ should dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing yourselves in psalms, (and *k*) in hymns, (and *k*) in songs spiritual with (*no*) grace singing in (the hearts *N(k)O*) of you (to God; *N(K)O*)

١٧ 17 وَمَهْمَا كَانَ مَا تَعْمَلُونَهُ، بِالْقَوْلِ أَوْ بِالْفِعْلِ، فَلْيَجْرِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ، رَافِعِينَ بِهِ الشُّكْرَ لِلهِ الآبِ.

And everything (which what *NK(o)*) (maybe *N(k)O*) you shall do in word or in deed, all in [the] name of [the] Lord Jesus giving thanks to God (and *k*) [the] Father through Him.

١٨ 18 أَيَّتُهَا الزَّوْجَاتُ اخْضَعْنَ لأَزْوَاجِكُنَّ كَمَا يَلِيقُ (بِالْعِيشَةِ) فِي الرَّبِّ.

you who [are] wives, do be submitted (to [your] own *K*) husbands as was fitting in [the] Lord.

١٩ 19 أَيُّهَا الأَزْوَاجُ، أَحِبُّوا زَوْجَاتِكُمْ، وَلا تُعَامِلُوهُنَّ بِقَسْوَةٍ.

you who [are] Husbands, do love the wives and not do be harsh toward them.

٢٠ 20 أَيُّهَا الأَوْلادُ، أَطِيعُوا وَالِدِيكُمْ فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ، لأَنَّ ذَلِكَ مَرْضِيٌّ فِي الرَّبِّ.

you who [are] Children, do obey the parents in all things; this for pleasing is (in *N(k)O*) Lord.

٢١ 21 أَيُّهَا الآبَاءُ، لَا تُثِيرُوا غَضَبَ أَوْلادِكُمْ لِئَلّا يُصِيبَهُمُ الْفَشَلُ.

you who [are] Fathers, not do provoke the children of you, that not they may become discouraged.

٢٢ 22 أَيُّهَا الْعَبِيدُ، أَطِيعُوا فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ سَادَتَكُمُ الْبَشَرِيِّينَ، فَلا تَعْمَلُوا بِجِدٍّ فَقَطْ حِينَ تَكُونُ عُيُونُهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ، كَمَنْ يُحَاوِلُ إِرْضَاءَ النَّاسِ، بَلْ بِقَلْبٍ صَادِقٍ خَائِفِينَ الرَّبَّ.

you who [are] Slaves, do obey in all things the according to flesh masters, not with (eye-service *N(k)O*) as men-pleasers but in sincerity of heart fearing the (Lord. *N(K)O*)

٢٣ 23 وَمَهْمَا عَمِلْتُمْ، فَاجْتَهِدُوا فِيهِ مِنْ صَمِيمِ الْقَلْبِ، وَكَأَنَّهُ لِلرَّبِّ لَا لِلنَّاسِ،

(and *k*) (everything *K*) that (any [of] *K*) maybe you shall do, from [the] soul do work as to the Lord and not to men;

٢٤ 24 عَالِمِينَ أَنَّكُمْ سَوْفَ تَنَالُونَ الْمُكَافَأَةَ بِالْمِيرَاثِ مِنَ الرَّبِّ. فَإِنَّمَا أَنْتُمْ عَبِيدٌ تَخْدِمُونَ الرَّبَّ الْمَسِيحَ

knowing that from [the] Lord (you will receive *NK(o)*) the reward of the inheritance; The (for *k*) Lord Christ you serve.

٢٥ 25 وَأَمَّا مَنْ عَمِلَ شَرّاً فَسَوْفَ يَنَالُ جَزَاءَ عَمَلِهِ الشِّرِّيرِ، وَلَيْسَ مُحَابَاةٌ.

The [one] (for *N(k)O*) doing wrong he will be repaid [for] what he has done wrong and not there is partiality.
