1 بطرس 5
| وَهَذِهِ وَصِيَّتِي إِلَى الشُّيُوخِ الَّذِينَ بَيْنَكُمْ، بِصِفَتِي شَيْخاً رَفِيقاً لَهُمْ، وَشَاهِداً لِآلامِ الْمَسِيحِ، وَشَرِيكاً فِي الْمَجْدِ الَّذِي سَيَتَجَلَّى: | ١ 1 |
Now to you who are presbyters I make this appeal; for I am myself a presbyter, and was a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory about to be revealed.
| ارْعَوْا قَطِيعَ اللهِ الَّذِي بَيْنَكُمْ، كَحُرَّاسٍ لَهُ، لَا بِدَافِعِ الْوَاجِبِ، بَلْ بِدَافِعِ التَّطَوُّعِ، كَمَا يُرِيدُ اللهُ، وَلا رَغْبَةً فِي الرِّبْحِ الدَّنِيءِ، بَلْ رَغْبَةً فِي الْخِدْمَةِ بِنَشَاطٍ. | ٢ 2 |
Be shepherds to your flock of God; take charge of them willingly, and not through compulsion; not for filthy lucre, but with a willing mind;
| لَا تَتَسَلَّطُوا عَلَى الْقَطِيعِ الَّذِي وَضَعَهُ اللهُ أَمَانَةً بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ، بَلْ كُونُوا قُدْوَةً لَهُ. | ٣ 3 |
not by way of lording it over your heritage, but by becoming examples to the flock.
| وَعِنْدَمَا يَظْهَرُ رَئِيسُ الرُّعَاةِ، تَنَالُونَ إِكْلِيلَ الْمَجْدِ الَّذِي لَا يَفْنَى. | ٤ 4 |
Then, when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you too will receive the fadeless wreath of glory.
| كَذَلِكَ، أَيُّهَا الشَّبَابُ، اخْضَعُوا لِلشُّيُوخِ. الْبَسُوا جَمِيعاً ثَوْبَ التَّوَاضُعِ فِي مُعَامَلَتِكُمْ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ. لأَنَّ اللهَ يُقَاوِمُ الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يُعْطِي الْمُتَوَاضِعِينَ نِعْمَةً. | ٥ 5 |
You younger men must submit to the presbyters; and all of you must put on the garment of humility and serve one another, for God resists the haughty, But gives grace to the humble.
| إِذَنْ، تَوَاضَعُوا تَحْتَ يَدِ اللهِ القَدِيرَةِ لِكَيْ يَرْفَعَكُمْ عِنْدَمَا يَحِينُ الْوَقْتُ، | ٦ 6 |
So humble yourselves under God’s mighty hand, so that he may exalt you in due time.
| وَاطْرَحُوا عَلَيْهِ ثِقْلَ هُمُومِكُمْ كُلِّهَا، لأَنَّهُ هُوَ يَعْتَنِي بِكُمْ. | ٧ 7 |
Cast all your care upon him, for he ever cares for you.
| تَعَقَّلُوا وَتَنَبَّهُوا. إِنَّ خَصْمَكُمْ إِبْلِيسَ كَأَسَدٍ يَزْأَرُ، يَجُولُ بَاحِثاً عَنْ فَرِيسَةٍ يَبْتَلِعُهَا. | ٨ 8 |
Be temperate, be vigilant; because your enemy, the devil, is prowling about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
| فَقَاوِمُوهُ، ثَابِتِينَ فِي الإِيمَانِ. وَاذْكُرُوا أَنَّ إِخْوَتَكُمُ الْمُنْتَشِرِينَ فِي الْعَالَمِ يَجْتَازُونَ وَسَطَ هذِهِ الآلامِ عَيْنِهَا. | ٩ 9 |
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, knowing well that the same afflictions are being accomplished in your brothers that are in the world.
| وَبَعْدَ أَنْ تَتَأَلَّمُوا لِفَتْرَةٍ قَصِيرَةٍ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ، إِلَهَ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ، الَّذِي دَعَاكُمْ إِلَى الاشْتِرَاكِ فِي مَجْدِهِ الأَبَدِيِّ فِي الْمَسِيحِ، لابُدَّ أَنْ يَجْعَلَكُمْ كَامِلِينَ وَثَابِتِينَ وَمُؤَيَّدِينَ بِالْقُوَّةِ وَرَاسِخِينَ. (aiōnios g166) | ١٠ 10 |
But the God of all grace, who has called us by Christ Jesus to share his eternal glory, will, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (aiōnios g166)
| لَهُ الْمَجْدُ وَالسُّلْطَةُ إِلَى أَبَدِ الآبِدِينَ. آمِين! (aiōn g165) | ١١ 11 |
His is the dominion forever and ever; Amen. (aiōn g165)
| إِنِّي مُرْسِلٌ إِلَيْكُمْ هَذِهِ الرِّسَالَةَ الْقَصِيرَةَ بِيَدِ سِلْوَانُسَ الأَخِ الأَمِينِ. وَغَايَتِي أَنْ أُحَرِّضَكُمْ وَأَشْهَدَ لَكُمْ أَنَّ النِّعْمَةَ الَّتِي تَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِها هِيَ نِعْمَةُ اللهِ الْحَقِيقِيَّةُ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ فِيهَا ثَابِتُونَ. | ١٢ 12 |
By Sylvanus, a faithful brother of yours, as I suppose, I have written you briefly, to comfort you, and to testify that this is the true grace of God. In this stand fast.
| وَمِنْ بَابِلَ، تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ تِلْكَ الَّتِي اخْتَارَهَا اللهُ مَعَكُمْ، وَكَذلِكَ مَرْقُسُ ابْنِي. | ١٣ 13 |
Your sister church in Babylon, elect with you, sends you salutations, and so does Marcus, my son.
| سَلِّمُوا بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِقُبْلَةِ الْمَحَبَّةِ. وَلْيَكُنِ السَّلامُ لَكُمْ جَمِيعاً، أَنْتُمُ الَّذِينَ فِي الْمَسِيحِ. | ١٤ 14 |
Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ Jesus.
