1 كورنثوس 12

١ 1 وَأَمَّا بِخُصُوصِ الْمَوَاهِبِ الرُّوحِيَّةِ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، فَلا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يَخْفَى عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْرُهَا.

But concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

٢ 2 تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّكُمْ، عِنْدَمَا كُنْتُمْ مِنَ الأُمَمِ، كُنْتُمْ تَنْجَرِفُونَ إِلَى الأَصْنَامِ الْخَرْسَاءِ أَيَّمَا انْجِرَافٍ.

You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to those dumb idols, as you might be led.

٣ 3 لِذَلِكَ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَعْرِفُوا أَنَّهُ لَا أَحَدَ وَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِرُوحِ اللهِ يَقُولُ: «يَسُوعُ أَنَاثِيمَا (أَيْ مَلْعُونٌ)!» وَكَذَلِكَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَقُولَ: «يَسُوعُ رَبٌّ» إِلّا بِالرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ.

For this reason, I make known to you, that no one, speaking by the Spirit of God, calls Jesus accursed: and no one can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

٤ 4 هُنَاكَ مَوَاهِبُ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ، وَلَكِنَّ الرُّوحَ وَاحِدٌ.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit;

٥ 5 وَهُنَاكَ خِدْمَاتٌ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ، وَالرَّبُّ وَاحِدٌ.

and there are diversities of ministries, but the same Lord;

٦ 6 وَهُنَاكَ أَيْضاً أَعْمَالٌ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ وَاحِدٌ، وَهُوَ يَعْمَلُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فِي الْجَمِيعِ.

and there are diversities of operations, but the same God, who makes them all effectual in all.

٧ 7 وَإِنَّمَا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ يُوهَبُ مَوْهِبَةً يَتَجَلَّى الرُّوحُ فِيهَا لأَجْلِ الْمَنْفَعَةِ.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one, for the good of all.

٨ 8 فَوَاحِدٌ يُوهَبُ، عَنْ طَرِيقِ الرُّوحِ، كَلامَ الْحِكْمَةِ، وَآخَرُ كَلامَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ وَفْقاً لِلرُّوحِ نَفْسِهِ،

For to one is given, by the Spirit, the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge, by the same Spirit;

٩ 9 وَآخَرُ إِيمَاناً بِالرُّوحِ نَفْسِهِ. وَيُوهَبُ آخَرُ مَوْهِبَةَ شِفَاءِ الأَمْرَاضِ بِالرُّوحِ الْوَاحِدِ،

to another, faith, by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing, by the same Spirit;

١٠ 10 وَآخَرُ عَمَلَ الْمُعْجِزَاتِ، وَآخَرُ النُّبُوءَةَ وَآخَرُ التَّمْيِيزَ بَيْنَ الأَرْوَاحِ، وَآخَرُ التَّكَلُّمَ بِلُغَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ، وَآخَرُ تَرْجَمَةَ اللُّغَاتِ تِلْكَ.

to another, the working of mighty deeds; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, different kinds of tongues; to another, the interpretation of tongues.

١١ 11 وَلَكِنَّ هَذَا كُلَّهُ يُشَغِّلُهُ الرُّوحُ الْوَاحِدُ نَفْسُهُ، مُوَزِّعاً الْمَوَاهِبَ، كَمَا يَشَاءُ، عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ.

But all these, the one and the same Spirit makes effectual, distributing to each, respectively, as he wills.

١٢ 12 فَكَمَا أَنَّ الْجَسَدَ وَاحِدٌ وَلَهُ أَعْضَاءُ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَلكِنَّ أَعْضَاءَ الْجَسَدِ كُلَّهَا تُشَكِّلُ جِسْماً وَاحِداً مَعَ أَنَّهَا كَثِيرَةٌ، فَكَذَلِكَ حَالُ الْمَسِيحِ أَيْضاً.

For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ.

١٣ 13 فَإِنَّنَا، بِالرُّوحِ الْوَاحِدِ، قَدْ تَعَمَّدْنَا جَمِيعاً لِنَصِيرَ جَسَداً وَاحِداً، سَوَاءٌ كُنَّا يَهُوداً أَمْ يُونَانِيِّينَ، عَبِيداً أَمْ أَحْرَاراً، وَقَدْ سُقِينَا جَمِيعاً الرُّوحَ الْوَاحِدَ.

For by one Spirit we all were immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and we all have been made to drink of one Spirit.

١٤ 14 فَلَيْسَ الْجَسَدُ عُضْواً وَاحِداً بَلْ مَجْمُوعَةُ أَعْضَاءَ.

For the body is not one member, but many.

١٥ 15 فَإِنْ قَالَتِ الرِّجْلُ: «لأَنِّي لَسْتُ يَداً، لَسْتُ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ!» فَهَلْ تُصْبِحُ مِنْ خَارِجِ الْجَسَدِ فِعْلاً؟

If the foot shall say: Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body, is it, for this reason, no part of the body?

١٦ 16 وَإِنْ قَالَتِ الأُذُنُ: «لأَنِّي لَسْتُ عَيْناً، لَسْتُ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ!» فَهَلْ تُصْبِحُ مِنْ خَارِجِ الْجَسَدِ فِعْلاً؟

And if the ear shall say: Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body, is it, for this reason, no part of the body?

١٧ 17 فَلَوْ كَانَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ عَيْناً، فَكَيْفَ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ؟ وَلَوْ كَانَ كُلُّهُ أُذُناً، فَكَيْفَ كُنَّا نَشُمُّ؟

If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

١٨ 18 عَلَى أَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ رَتَّبَ كُلًّا مِنَ الأَعْضَاءِ فِي الْجَسَدِ كَمَا أَرَادَ.

But now God has placed the members, each of them, in the body, as it has pleased him.

١٩ 19 فَلَوْ كَانَتْ كُلُّهَا عُضْواً وَاحِداً، فَكَيْفَ يَتَكَوَّنُ الْجَسَدُ؟

And if they were all one member, where were the body?

٢٠ 20 فَالْوَاقِعُ أَنَّ الأَعْضَاءَ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَالْجَسَدُ وَاحِدٌ.

But now there are many members, but one body.

٢١ 21 وَهَكَذَا، لَا تَسْتَطِيعُ الْعَيْنُ أَنْ تَقُولَ لِلْيَدِ: «أَنَا لَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْكِ!» وَلا الرَّأْسُ أَنْ تَقُولَ لِلرِّجْلَيْنِ: «أَنَا لَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْكُمَا!»

The eye can not say to the hand: I have no need of you; or again, the head to the feet: I have no need of you.

٢٢ 22 بَلْ بِالأَحْرَى جِدّاً، أَعْضَاءُ الْجَسَدِ الَّتِي تَبْدُو أَضْعَفَ الأَعْضَاءِ هِيَ ضَرُورِيَّةٌ،

But much more are those members of the body necessary, which seem to be more feeble.

٢٣ 23 وَتِلْكَ الَّتِي نَعْتَبِرُهَا أَقَلَّ مَا فِي الْجَسَدِ كَرَامَةً، نَكْسُوهَا بِإِكْرَامٍ أَوْفَرَ. وَالأَعْضَاءُ غَيْرُ اللائِقَةِ يَكُونُ لَهَا لِيَاقَةٌ أَوْفَرُ؛

And those members of the body, which, we think, are less honorable, around these we place the more abundant honor; and our uncomely members have the more abundant comeliness:

٢٤ 24 أَمَّا اللائِقَةُ، فَلا تَحْتَاجُ إِلَى ذَلِكَ. وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ أَحْكَمَ صُنْعَ الْجَسَدِ بِجُمْلَتِهِ، مُعْطِياً كَرَامَةً أَوْفَرَ لِمَا تَنْقُصُهُ الْكَرَامَةُ،

for our comely members have no need. But God has so arranged the body, giving more abundant honor to that part which is deficient,

٢٥ 25 لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ فِي الْجَسَدِ انْقِسَامٌ بَلْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَ الأَعْضَاءِ اهْتِمَامٌ وَاحِدٌ لِمَصْلَحَةِ الْجَسَدِ.

that there may be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same anxious care, one for another;

٢٦ 26 فَحِينَ يُصِيبُ الأَلَمُ وَاحِداً مِنَ الأَعْضَاءِ، تَشْعُرُ الأَعْضَاءُ الْبَاقِيَةُ مَعَهُ بِالأَلَمِ. وَحِينَ يَنَالُ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ الأَعْضَاءِ إِكْرَاماً، تَفْرَحُ مَعَهُ الأَعْضَاءُ الْبَاقِيَةُ.

and if one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

٢٧ 27 فَالْوَاقِعُ أَنَّكُمْ أَنْتُمْ جَمِيعاً جَسَدُ الْمَسِيحِ، وَأَعْضَاءٌ فِيهِ كُلٌّ بِمُفْرَدِهِ.

Now, you are the body of Christ, and, as individuals, you are members.

٢٨ 28 وَقَدْ رَتَّبَ اللهُ فِي الْكَنِيسَةِ أَشْخَاصاً مَخْصُوصِينَ: أَوَّلاً الرُّسُلَ، ثَانِياً الأَنْبِيَاءَ، ثَالِثاً الْمُعَلِّمِينَ، وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَصْحَابَ الْمَوَاهِبِ الْمُعْجِزِيَّةِ أَوْ مَوَاهِبِ الشِّفَاءِ أَوْ إِعَانَةِ الآخَرِينَ أَوْ تَدْبِيرِ الشُّؤُونِ أَوِ التَّكَلُّمِ بِاللُّغَاتِ الْمُخْتَلِفَةِ.

And God has placed some in the church, first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then mighty deeds; then gifts of healing; helps, governments, kinds of tongues.

٢٩ 29 فَهَلْ هُمْ جَمِيعاً رُسُلٌ؟ أَجَمِيعُهُمْ أَنْبِيَاءُ؟ أَجَمِيعُهُمْ مُعَلِّمُونَ؟ أَجَمِيعُهُمْ حَائِزُونَ عَلَى مَوَاهِبَ مُعْجِزِيَّةٍ؟

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of mighty deeds?

٣٠ 30 أَجَمِيعُهُمْ يَمْلِكُونَ مَوَاهِبَ الشِّفَاءِ؟ أَجَمِيعُهُمْ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِلُغَاتٍ؟ أَجَمِيعُهُمْ يُتَرْجِمُونَ؟

Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

٣١ 31 وَلكِنْ تَشَوَّقُوا إِلَى الْمَوَاهِبِ الْعُظْمَى. وَهَا أَنَا أَرْسُمُ لَكُمْ بَعْدُ طَرِيقاً أَفْضَلَ جِدّاً.

But seek earnestly the best gifts; and yet I show you a more excellent way.
