١ 1 وَهَذَا سِجِلٌّ بِمَوَالِيدِ دَاوُدَ الَّذِينَ أَنْجَبَهُمْ فِي حَبْرُونَ: بِكْرُهُ أَمْنُونُ مِنْ أَخِينُوعَمَ الْيَزْرَعِيلِيَّةِ، ثُمَّ دَانِيئِيلُ مِنْ أَبِيجَايِلَ الْكَرْمَلِيَّةِ،

And these were the sons of David, who were born unto him in Hebron: The first-born, Amnon, of Achino'am the Jizre'elitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigayil the Carmelitess;

٢ 2 وَالثَّالِثُ أَبْشَالُومُ بْنُ مَعْكَةَ بِنْتِ تَلْمَايَ مَلِكِ جَشُورَ، وَالرَّابِعُ أَدُونِيَّا بْنُ حَجِّيثَ،

The third, Abshalom the son of Ma'achah the daughter of Thalmai the king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah the son of Chaggith;

٣ 3 وَالْخَامِسُ شَفَطْيَا مِنْ أَبِيطَالَ، وَالسَّادِسُ يَثَرْعَامُ مِنْ عَجْلَةَ زَوْجَتِهِ.

The fifth, Shephatyah of Abital; the sixth, Yithre'am of 'Eglah his wife.

٤ 4 فَكَانَتْ جُمْلَةُ الْمَوْلُودِينَ لَهُ فِي حَبْرُونَ سِتَّةَ أَبْنَاءٍ، وَقَدْ مَلَكَ هُنَاكَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ وَسِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ، ثُمَّ مَلَكَ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ ثَلاثاً وَثَلاثِينَ سَنَةً.

Six were born unto him in Hebron: and he reigned there seven years and six months; and thirty and three years he reigned in Jerusalem.

٥ 5 أَمَّا الَّذِينَ أَنْجَبَهُمْ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ فَهُمْ: شِمْعَى وَشُوبَابُ وَنَاثَانُ وَسُلَيْمَانُ، وَهَؤُلاءِ الأَرْبَعَةُ وَلَدَتْهُمْ بَثْشَبَعُ بِنْتُ عَمِّيئِيلَ.

And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shim'a! and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua' the daughter of 'Ammiel;

٦ 6 وَكَانَ لَهُ تِسْعَةُ أَبْنَاءٍ آخَرُونَ هُمْ يِبْحَارُ وَأَلِشَامَعُ وَأَلِيفَالَطُ،

And Yibchar, and Elishama', and Eliphelet,

٧ 7 وَنُوجَهُ وَنَافَجُ وَيَافِيعُ،

And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia'.

٨ 8 وَأَلِيشَمَعُ وَأَلِيَادَاعُ وَأَلِيفَلَطُ.

And Elishama', and Elyada', and Eliphelet, nine.

٩ 9 وَجَمِيعُهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ دَاوُدَ مَاعَدَا أَبْنَاءَ الْمَحْظِيَّاتِ. وَكَانَتْ لَهُمْ أُخْتٌ تُدْعَى ثَامَارَ.

[These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Thamar their sister.

١٠ 10 وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ أَبْنَاءِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَأَحْفَادِهِ عَلَى التَّعَاقُبِ الَّذِينَ تَوَالَوْا عَلَى الْمُلْكِ: رَحَبْعَامُ، أَبِيَّا، آسَا، يَهُوشَافَاطُ،

And Solomon's son was Rehobo'am. Abiyah his son, Assa his son, Jehoshaphat his son.

١١ 11 يُورَامُ، أَخَزْيَا، يُوآشُ،

Joram his son, Achazyahu his son, Joash his son,

١٢ 12 أَمَصْيَا، عَزَرْيَا، يُوثَامُ،

Amazyahu his son, 'Azaryah his son, Jotham his son,

١٣ 13 آحَازُ، حَزَقِيَّا، مَنَسَّى،

Achaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Menasseh his son,

١٤ 14 آمُونُ وَيُوشِيَّا.

Amon his son, Josiah his son.

١٥ 15 أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ يُوشِيَّا فَهُمْ: الْبِكْرُ يُوحَانَانُ، ثُمَّ يَهُويَاقِيمُ، وَصِدْقِيَّا، وَأَخِيراً شَلُّومُ.

And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Jochanan, the second Jehoyakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

١٦ 16 وَابْنَا يَهُويَاقِيمُ يَكُنْيَا وَصِدْقِيَّا.

And the sons of Jehoyakim: Jechonyah his son, Zedekiah his son.

١٧ 17 وَأَنْجَبَ يَكُنْيَا: أَسِيرَ وَشَأَلْتِيئِيلَ (وَمِنْ أَحْفَادِ يَهُويَاقِيمَ):

And the sons of Jechonyah: Assir, Shealthiel his son,

١٨ 18 مَلْكِيرَامُ وَفَدَايَا وَشِنْأَصَّرُ وَيَقَمْيَا وَهُوشَامَاعُ وَنَدَبْيَا.

And Malkiram, and Pedayah, and Shenazzar, Jekamyah, Hoshama', and Nedabyah.

١٩ 19 وَأَنْجَبَ فَدَايَا: زَرُبَّابَلَ وَشِمْعِي. أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ زَرُبَّابَلَ فَهُمْ مَشُلّامُ، وَحَنَنْيَا وَأُخْتُهُمْ شَلُومِيَةُ،

And the sons of Pedayah were, Zerubbabel, and Shim'i: and the sons of Zerubbabel were, Meshullam, and Chananyah, and Shelomith their sister;

٢٠ 20 وَحَشُوبَةُ وَأُوهَلُ، وَبَرَخْيَا وَحَسَدْيَا، وَيُوشَبُ حَسَدَ، وَهُمْ خَمْسَةٌ في جُمْلَتِهِمْ.

And Chashubah, and Ohel, and Berechyah, and Chassadyah, Jushab-chessed, five.

٢١ 21 وَابْنَا حَنَنْيَا: فَلَطْيَا، وَيِشْعِيَا، وَمِنْ أَحْفَادِهِ: أَبْنَاءُ رَفَايَا وَأَرْنَانَ وَعُوبَدْيَا وَشَكَنْيَا.

And the sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah, and Jesha'yah; the sons of Rephayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of 'Ohadiah, the sons of Shechanyah.

٢٢ 22 وَأَنْجَبَ شَكُنْيَا شَمْعِيَا؛ وَأَبْنَاءُ شَمْعِيَا الْخَمْسَةُ هُمْ: حَطُّوشُ وَيَجْآلُ وَبَارِيحُ وَنَعَرْيَا وَشَافَاطُ.

And the sons of Shechanyah: Shema'yah: and the sons of Shema'yah were Chattush, and Yigal, and Bariach, and Ne'aryah, and Shaphat, six.

٢٣ 23 وَكَانَ لِنَعَرْيَا ثَلاثَةُ أَبْنَاءٍ هُمْ: أَلْيُوعِينِيُّ، وَحَزَقِيَّا، وَعَزْرِيقَامُ.

And the sons of Ne'aryah: Elyo'enai, and Hezekiah, and 'Azrikam, three.

٢٤ 24 أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ الْيُوعِينِيِّ فَهُمْ هُودَايَاهُو وَأَلِيَاشِيبُ وَفَلايَا وَعَقُّوبُ وَيُوحَانَانُ وَدَلايَا وَعَنَانِي. وَهُمْ سَبْعَةٌ.

And the sons of Elyo'enai were, Hodavyahu, and Elyashib, and Pelayah, and 'Akkub, and Jochanan, and Delayah, and 'Anani, seven.
