| وَاخْتَارَ دَاوُدُ وَرُؤَسَاءُ الْجَيْشِ بَعْضَ أَبْنَاءِ آسَافَ وَهَيْمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ، لِقِيَادَةِ خَدَمَاتِ القِيَادَةِ بِإِعْلانِ رِسَالَةِ اللهِ تَصْحَبُهُمْ مُوسِيقَى الْعِيدَانِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالصُّنُوجِ. وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ أَدَّوْا هَذِهِ الْخَدَمَاتِ وَوَاجِبَاتُهُمْ: | ١ 1 |
and to separate David and ruler [the] army: duty to/for service: ministry to/for son: child Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun ([the] to prophesy *Q(K)*) in/on/with lyre in/on/with harp and in/on/with cymbal and to be number their human work to/for service: ministry their
| مِنْ أَبنَاءِ آسَافَ: زَكُّورُ وَيُوسُفُ وَنَثَنْيَا وَأَشَرْئِيلَةُ، وَهُمْ يَخْدُمُونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ آسَافَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ فِيِ حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ. | ٢ 2 |

| مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ يَدُوثُونَ سِتَّةٌ: جَدَلْيَا وَصَرِي وَيِشْعِيَا وَشِمْعِي وَحَشَبْيَا وَمَتَّثْيَا وَهُمْ يَخْدُمونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ أَبِيهِمْ يَدُوثُونَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ بِالْعَزْفِ عَلَى الْعُودِ لِلتَّعْبِيرِ عَنِ الْحَمْدِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ لِلرَّبِّ. | ٣ 3 |

| مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ هَيْمَانَ: بُقِّيَّا، وَمَتَّنْيَا، وَعُزِّيئِيلُ، وَشَبُوئِيلُ، وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَحَنَنْيَا، وَحَنَانِي وَإِيلِيآثَةُ، وَجِدَّلْتِي، وَرُومَمْتِي عَزَرُ، وَيُشْبَقَاشَةُ، وَمَلُوثِي، وَهُوثِيرُ وَمَحْزِيُوثُ. | ٤ 4 |
to/for Heman son: child Heman Bukkiah Mattaniah Uzziel Shebuel and Jerimoth Hananiah Hanani Eliathah Giddalti and Romamti-ezer Romamti-ezer Joshbekashah Mallothi Hothir Mahazioth
| وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ هَيْمَانَ نَبِيِّ الْمَلِكِ، وَقَدْ رَزَقَهُ الرَّبُّ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ابْناً وَثَلاثَ بَنَاتٍ، تَحْقِيقاً لِوَعْدِهِ، لِيَرْفَعَ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ. | ٥ 5 |

| وكَانُوا جَمِيعُهُمْ يُجِيدُونَ الْعَزْفَ عَلَى الصُّنُوجِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالْعِيدَانِ، بِقِيَادَةِ أَبِيهِمْ، لِلاشْتِرَاكِ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ بِالْهَيْكَلِ. وَكَانَ آسَافُ وَيَدُوثُونُ وَهَيْمَانُ يَتَلَقَّوْنَ تَعْلِيمَاتِهِمْ مِنَ الْمَلِكِ. | ٦ 6 |
all these upon hand: power father their in/on/with song house: temple LORD in/on/with cymbal harp and lyre to/for service: ministry house: temple [the] God upon hand: power [the] king Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman
| وَقَدْ بَلَغَ عَدَدُهُمْ مَعَ بَقِيَّةِ أَقْرِبَائِهِمْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِيَةً وَثَمَانِينَ لاوِيًّا، وَجَمِيعُهُمْ بَارِعُونَ فِي الْعَزْفِ وَالتَّرْتِيلِ لِلرَّبِّ. | ٧ 7 |
and to be number their with brother: male-relative their to learn: teach song to/for LORD all [the] to understand hundred eighty and eight
| وَقَدْ حَدَّدُوا مَسْؤولِيَّاتِ عَمَلِهِمْ عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْقُرْعَةِ، بِغَضِّ النَّظَرِ عَنِ الْعُمْرِ أَوِ الْكَفَاءَةِ. | ٨ 8 |

| فَوَقَعَتِ الْقُرْعَةُ الأُولَى لِيُوسُفَ مِنْ عَائِلَةِ آسَافَ، وَالثَّانِيَةُ لِجَدَلْيَا وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ، وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً، | ٩ 9 |
and to come out: casting(lot) [the] allotted [the] first to/for Asaph to/for Joseph (and brother: male-relative his and son: child his two ten *X*) Gedaliah [the] second he/she/it and brother: male-relative his and son: child his two ten
| وَالثَّالِثَةُ لِزَكُّورَ، وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. | ١٠ 10 |
