| وَهَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: رَأُوبَيْنُ، شِمْعُونُ، لاوِي، يَهُوذَا، يَسَّاكَرُ، زَبُولُونُ، | ١ 1 |
These [were] [the] sons of Israel Reuben Simeon Levi and Judah Issachar and Zebulun.
| دَانٌ، يُوسُفُ وَبَنْيَامِينُ، نَفْتَالِي، جَادٌ، وَأَشِيرُ. | ٢ 2 |
Dan Joseph and Benjamin Naphtali Gad and Asher.
| أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ يَهُوذَا فَهُمْ: عِيرُ وَأُونَانُ وَشَيْلَةُ. وَقَدْ أَنْجَبَتْ بِنْتُ شُوعَ الْكَنْعَانِيَّةُ هَؤُلاءِ الثَّلاثَةَ. وَأَمَاتَ الرَّبُّ عِيرَ، بِكْرَ يَهُوذَا، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ شِرِّيراً فِي عَيْنَيْهِ. | ٣ 3 |
[the] sons of Judah Er and Onan and Shelah three [sons] it was born to him from Bath-shua the Canaanite [woman] and he was Er - [the] firstborn of Judah evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he put to death him.
| وَأَنْجَبَ يَهُوذَا مِنْ كَنَّتِهِ ثَامَارَ: فَارَصَ وَزَارَحَ، فَكَانَتْ جُمْلَةُ أَوْلادِهِ خَمْسَةً. | ٤ 4 |
And Tamar daughter-in-law his she bore to him Perez and Zerah all [the] sons of Judah [were] five.
| وَأَنْجَبَ فَارَصُ: حَصْرُونَ وَحَامُولَ. | ٥ 5 |
[the] sons of Perez Hezron and Hamul.
| كَمَا أَنْجَبَ زَارَحُ: زِمْرِي وَأَيْثَانَ وَهَيْمَانَ وَكَلْكُولَ وَدَارَعَ. فَكَانُوا خَمْسَةً فِي جُمْلَتِهِمْ. | ٦ 6 |
And [the] sons of Zerah Zimri and Ethan and Heman and Kalkol and Dara all of them [were] five.
| وَعَخَانُ بْنُ كَرْمِي هُوَ الَّذِي سَبَّبَ كَارِثَةً لإِسْرَائِيلَ حِينَ خَانَ فَسَرَقَ مِمَّا هُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ. | ٧ 7 |
And [the] sons of Carmi Achar [who] troubled Israel who he acted unfaithfully in the devoted thing[s].
| وَأَنْجَبَ أَيْثَانُ عَزَرْيَا. | ٨ 8 |
And [the] sons of Ethan Azariah.
| أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ حَصْرُونَ فَهُمْ: يَرْحَمْئِيلُ، وَرَامُ وَكَلُوبَايُ. | ٩ 9 |
And [the] sons of Hezron whom it was born to him Jerahmeel and Ram and Celubai.
| وَأَنْجَبَ رَامُ عَمِّينَادَابَ، وَعَمِّينَادَابُ نَحْشُونَ، رَئِيسَ بَنِي يَهُوذَا. | ١٠ 10 |
And Ram he fathered Amminadab and Amminadab he fathered Nahshon [the] leader of [the] descendants of Judah.
| وَأَنْجَبَ نَحْشُونُ سَلْمُوَ الَّذِي أَنْجَبَ بُوعَزَ. | ١١ 11 |
And Nahshon he fathered Salma and Salma he fathered Boaz.
| وَأَنْجَبَ بُوعَزُ عُوبِيدَ وَالِدَ يَسَّى. | ١٢ 12 |
And Boaz he fathered Obed and Obed he fathered Jesse.
| وَأَنْجَبَ يَسَّى بِكْرَهُ أَلِيآبَ، ثُمَّ أَبِينَادَابَ، فَشِمْعَى، | ١٣ 13 |
And Jesse he fathered firstborn his Eliab and Abinadab the second and Shimea the third.
| ثُمَّ نَثْنِئِيلَ فَرَدَّايَ، | ١٤ 14 |
Nethanel the fourth Raddai the fifth.
| فَأُوصَمَ وَأَخِيراً دَاوُدَ. | ١٥ 15 |
Ozem the sixth David the seventh.
| كَمَا أَنْجَبَ يَسَّى ابْنَتَيْنِ هُمَا صُرُويَّةُ وَأَبِيجَايِلُ. وَأَبْنَاءُ صُرُويَّةَ ثَلاثَةٌ هُمْ: أَبِيشَايُ وَيُوآبُ وَعَسَائِيلُ. | ١٦ 16 |
(And sisters their *Q(k)*) Zeruiah and Abigail and [the] sons of Zeruiah Abshai and Joab and Asah-el three.
| أَمَّا أَبِيجَايِلُ فَقَدْ أَنْجَبَتْ: عَمَاسَا مِنْ يَثْرَ الإِسْمَاعِيلِيِّ. | ١٧ 17 |
And Abigail she bore Amasa and [the] father of Amasa Jether the Ishmaelite.
| وَكَانَ كَالَبُ بْنُ حَصْرُونَ مُتَزَوِّجاً مِنْ عَزُوبَةَ وَيَرِيعُوثَ. فَأَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ عَزُوبَةُ يَاشَرَ وَشُوبَابَ وَأَرْدُونَ. | ١٨ 18 |
And Caleb [the] son of Hezron he fathered with Azubah a wife and with Jerioth and these [were] sons her Jesher and Shobab and Ardon.
| وَعِنْدَمَا مَاتَتْ عَزُوبَةُ تَزَوَّجَ كَالَبُ مِنْ أَفْرَاتَ فَأَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ حُورَ. | ١٩ 19 |
And she died Azubah and he took for himself Caleb Ephrath and she bore to him Hur.
| وَأَنْجَبَ حُورُ أُورِيَ وَأَنْجَبَ أُورِي بَصَلْئِيلَ. | ٢٠ 20 |
And Hur he fathered Uri and Uri he fathered Bezalel.
| وَتَزَوَّجَ حَصْرُونُ وَهُوَ فِي السِّتِّينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ ابْنَةَ مَاكِيرَ أَبِي جِلْعَادَ وَأَنْجَبَ مِنْهَا سَجُوبَ. | ٢١ 21 |
And after he went Hezron into [the] daughter of Makir [the] father of Gilead and he he had taken her and he [was] a son of sixty year[s] and she bore to him Segub.
| وَأَنْجَبَ سَجُوبُ يَائِيرَ الَّذِي امْتَلَكَ ثَلاثاً وَعِشْرِينَ مَدِينَةً فِي أَرْضِ جِلْعَادَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
And Segub he fathered Jair and it belonged to him twenty and three cities in [the] land of Gilead.
| غَيْرَ أَنَّ مَمْلَكَةَ جَشُورَ وَمَمْلَكَةَ أَرَامَ اسْتَوْلَتَا عَلَى حَوُّوثَ يَائِيرَ مَعَ قَنَاةَ وَقُرَاهَا، فَكَانَتْ فِي جُمْلَتِهَا سِتِّينَ مَدِينَةً. وَكَانَ كُلُّ أَهْلِهَا مُنْحَدِرِينَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ مَاكِيرَ أَبِي جِلْعَادَ. | ٢٣ 23 |
And he took Geshur and Aram Havvoth Jair from with them Kenath and daughters its sixty citi[es] all these [were] [the] sons of Makir [the] father of Gilead.
| وَبَعْدَ وَفَاةِ حَصْرُونَ فِي كَالَبِ أَفْرَاتَةَ، تَزَوَّجَ ابْنُهُ كَالَبُ أَبِيَّاهَ أَرْمَلَةَ أَبِيهِ، فَأَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ أَشْحُورَ مُؤَسِّسَ مَدِينَةِ تَقُوعَ. | ٢٤ 24 |
And after [the] death of Hezron in Caleb Ephrathah and [the] wife of Hezron Abijah and she bore to him Ashhur [the] father of Tekoa.
| أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ يَرْحَمْئِيلَ بِكْرِ حَصْرُونَ فَهُمْ: الْبِكْرُ رَامٌ، ثُمَّ بُونَةُ وَأَوْرَنُ وَأُوصَمُ وَأَخِيَّا. | ٢٥ 25 |
And they were [the] sons of Jerahmeel [the] firstborn of Hezron the firstborn - Ram and Bunah and Oren and Ozem Ahijah.
| وَكَانَ لِيَرْحَمْئِيلَ زَوْجَةٌ أُخْرَى تُدْعَى عَطَارَةَ هِيَ أُمُّ أُونَامَ. | ٢٦ 26 |
And she belonged a wife another to Jerahmeel and name her [was] Atarah she [was] [the] mother of Onam.
| وَأَبْنَاءُ رَامٍ بِكْرِ يَرْحَمْئِيلَ هُمْ: مَعَصُ وَيَمِينُ وَعَاقَرُ. | ٢٧ 27 |
And they were [the] sons of Ram [the] firstborn of Jerahmeel Maaz and Jamin and Eker.
| وَابْنَا أُونَامَ: شَمَّايُ وَيَادَاعُ. وَابْنَا شَمَّايَ: نَادَابُ وَأَبِيشُورُ. | ٢٨ 28 |
And they were [the] sons of Onam Shammai and Jada and [the] sons of Shammai Nadab and Abishur.
| وَاسْمُ زَوْجَةِ أَبِيشُورَ أَبِيجَايِلُ، وَقَدْ أَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ أَحْبَانَ وَمُولِيدَ. | ٢٩ 29 |
And [the] name of [the] wife of Abishur [was] Abihail and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.
| أَمَّا ابْنَا نَادَابَ فَهُمَا: سَلَدُ وَأَفَّايِمُ. وَمَاتَ سَلَدُ مِنْ غَيْرِ عَقِبٍ. | ٣٠ 30 |
And [the] sons of Nadab Seled and Appaim and he died Seled not sons.
| وَأَنْجَبَ أَفَّايِمُ يَشْعِي. وَيَشْعِي وَلَدَ شِيشَانَ الَّذِي أَنْجَبَ أَحْلايَ. | ٣١ 31 |
And [the] sons of Appaim Ishi and [the] sons of Ishi Sheshan and [the] sons of Sheshan Ahlai.
| وَأَنْجَبَ يَادَاعُ أَخُو شَمَّايَ: يَثَرَ وَيُونَاثَانَ. وَمَاتَ يَثَرُ مِنْ غَيْرِ عَقِبٍ. | ٣٢ 32 |
And [the] sons of Jada [the] brother of Shammai Jether and Jonathan and he died Jether not sons.
| وَأَنْجَبَ يُونَاثَانُ ابْنَيْنِ هُمَا: فَالَتُ وَزَازَا. وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ مِنْ ذُرِّيِّةِ يِرْحَمْئِيلَ. | ٣٣ 33 |
And [the] sons of Jonathan Peleth and Zaza these they were [the] sons of Jerahmeel.
| وَلَمْ يُعْقِبْ شِيشَانُ أَبْنَاءً بَلْ بَنَاتٍ، وَكَانَ لِشِيشَانَ خَادِمٌ مِصْرِيٌّ اسْمُهُ يَرْحَعُ. | ٣٤ 34 |
And not it belonged to Sheshan sons that except daughters and [belonged] to Sheshan a slave Egyptian and name his [was] Jarha.
| فَزَوَّجَ شِيشَانُ ابْنَتَهُ لِيَرْحَعَ، فَأَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ عَتَّايَ. | ٣٥ 35 |
And he gave Sheshan daughter his to Jarha slave his to a wife and she bore to him Attai.
| وَأَنْجَبَ عَتَّايُ نَاثَانَ، وَنَاثَانُ وَلَدَ زَابَادَ. | ٣٦ 36 |
And Attai he fathered Nathan and Nathan he fathered Zabad.
| وَأَنْجَبَ زَابَادُ أَفْلالَ، وَأَفْلالُ وَلَدَ عُوبِيدَ. | ٣٧ 37 |
And Zabad he fathered Ephlal and Ephlal he fathered Obed.
| وَأَنْجَبَ عُوبِيدُ يَاهُوَ الَّذِي وَلَدَ عَزَرْيَا. | ٣٨ 38 |
And Obed he fathered Jehu and Jehu he fathered Azariah.
| وَأَنْجَبَ عَزَرْيَا حَالَصَ، وَحَالَصُ إِلْعَاسَةَ. | ٣٩ 39 |
And Azariah he fathered Helez and Helez he fathered Eleasah.
| وَأَنْجَبَ إِلْعَاسَةُ سِسَمَايَ وَسِسَمَايُ شَلُّومَ. | ٤٠ 40 |
And Eleasah he fathered Sismai and Sismai he fathered Shallum.
| وَأَنْجَبَ شَلُّومُ يَقَمْيَةَ، وَيَقَمْيَةُ أَلِيشَمَعَ. | ٤١ 41 |
And Shallum he fathered Jekamiah and Jekamiah he fathered Elishama.
| أَمَّا بِكْرُ كَالَبَ أَخِي يَرْحَمْئِيلَ فَهُو مِيشَاعُ أَبُو زِيفَ الَّذِي أَنْجَبَ مَرِيشَةَ وَالِدَ حَبْرُونَ. | ٤٢ 42 |
And [the] sons of Caleb [the] brother of Jerahmeel Mesha firstborn his he [was] [the] father of Ziph and [the] sons of Mareshah [the] father of Hebron.
| أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ حَبْرُونَ فَهُمْ: قُورَحُ وَتَفُّوحُ وَرَاقَمُ وَشَامَعُ. | ٤٣ 43 |
And [the] sons of Hebron Korah and Tappuah and Rekem and Shema.
| وَأَنْجَبَ شَامَعُ رَاقَمَ أَبَا يَرُقْعَامَ. وَأَنْجَبَ رَاقَمُ شَمَّايَ. | ٤٤ 44 |
And Shema he fathered Raham [the] father of Jorkeam and Rekem he fathered Shammai.
| وَأَنْجَبَ شَمَّايُ مَعُونَ الَّذِي بَنَى بَيْتَ صُورَ. | ٤٥ 45 |
And [the] son of Shammai [was] Maon and Maon [was] [the] father of Beth Zur.
| وَأَنْجَبَتْ عَيفَةُ مَحْظِيَّةُ كَالَبَ حَارَانَ وَمُوصَا وَجَازِيزَ. وَأَنْجَبَ حَارَانُ ابْناً سَمَّاهُ جَازِيزَ. | ٤٦ 46 |
And Ephah [the] concubine of Caleb she bore Haran and Moza and Gazez and Haran he fathered Gazez.
| وَأَبْنَاءُ يَهْدَايَ: رَجَمُ وَيُوثَامُ وَجِيشَانُ وَفَلَطُ وَعِيفَةُ وَشَاعَفُ. | ٤٧ 47 |
And [the] sons of Jahdai Regem and Jotham and Geshan and Pelet and Ephah and Shaaph.
| وَأَنْجَبَتْ مَعْكَةُ مَحْظِيَّةٌ أُخْرَى لِكَالَبَ، شَبَرَ وَتَرْحَنَةَ. | ٤٨ 48 |
[the] concubine of Caleb Maacah he bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
| ثُمَّ أَنْجَبَتْ شَاعَفَ بَانِي مَدِينَةِ مَدْمَنَةَ، وَشَوَا بَانِي مَدِينَتَيْ مَكْبِينَا وَجَبَعَا. وَكَانَ لِكَالَبَ بِنْتٌ اسْمُهَا عَكْسَةُ. | ٤٩ 49 |
And she bore Shaaph [the] father of Madmannah Sheva [the] father of Machbenah and [the] father of Gibea and [was] [the] daughter of Caleb Achsah.
| وَهَؤُلاءِ بَعْضُ ذُرِّيَّةِ كَالَبَ: حُورُ بِكْرُهُ مِنْ زَوْجَتِهِ أَفْرَاتَ وَقَدْ أَنْجَبَتْ شُوبَالَ مُؤَسِّسَ قَرْيَةِ يَعَارِيمَ، | ٥٠ 50 |
These they were [the] descendants of Caleb [the] son of Hur [the] firstborn of Ephrath Shobal [the] father of Kiriath Jearim.
| وَسَلْمَا مُؤَسِّسَ بَيْتِ لَحْمٍ، وَحَارِيفَ مُؤَسِّسَ بَيْتِ جَادِيرَ. | ٥١ 51 |
Salma [the] father of Beth-lehem Hareph [the] father of Beth-Gader.
| أَمَّا ذُرِّيَّةُ شُوبَالَ مُؤَسِّسِ قَرْيَةِ يَعَارِيمَ فَهُمْ قَبِيلَةُ هَرُوَاهُ وَنِصْفُ قَبِيلَةِ هَمَّنُوحُوتَ. | ٥٢ 52 |
And they belonged sons to Shobal [the] father of Kiriath Jearim Haroeh half of Menuchite[s].
| وَعَشَائِرُ قَرْيَةِ يَعَارِيمَ هُمْ: الْيَثْرِيُّونَ وَالْفُوتِيُّونَ وَالشَّمَاتِيُّونَ وَالْمَشْرَاعِيُّونَ. وَتَفَرَّعَ مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ الصَّرْعِيُّونَ وَالأَشْتَأُولِيُّونَ. | ٥٣ 53 |
And [the] clans of Kiriath Jearim the Ithrite[s] and the Puthite[s] and the Shumathite[s] and the Mishraite[s] from these they came forth the Zorathite[s] and the Eshtaolite[s].
| وَكَانَ سَلْمَا مُؤَسِّسُ بَيْتِ لَحْمٍ أَباً لِقَبَائِلِ النَّطُوفَاتِيِّينَ وَعَطْرُوتَ بَيْتِ يُوآبَ، وَنِصْفِ الْمَنُوحُوتِ، وَالصَّرْعِيِّينَ. | ٥٤ 54 |
[the] sons of Salma Beth-lehem and [the] Netophathite[s] Atroth Beth-Joab and [the] half of the Manahathite[s] the Zorite[s].
| أَمَّا عَشَائِرُ الْكَتَبَةِ أَهْلِ يَعْبِيصَ فَهُمْ: تَرْعَاتِيمُ وَشَمْعَاتِيمُ وَسُوكَاتِيمُ وَهُمُ الْقَيْنِيُّونَ الْمُنْحَدِرُونَ مِنْ حَمَّةَ مُؤَسِّسِ عَائِلَةِ رَكَابَ. | ٥٥ 55 |
And [the] clans of [the] Sophrites ([who were] dwelling *Q(K)*) of Jabez Tirathites Shimeathites Sucathites they [were] the Kenites who came from Hammath [the] father of [the] house of Rechab.
