تِيطُس 2

١ 1 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَتَكَلَّمْ بِمَا يَلِيقُ بِٱلتَّعْلِيمِ ٱلصَّحِيحِ:

But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

٢ 2 أَنْ يَكُونَ ٱلْأَشْيَاخُ: صَاحِينَ، ذَوِي وَقَارٍ، مُتَعَقِّلِينَ، أَصِحَّاءَ فِي ٱلْإِيمَانِ وَٱلْمَحَبَّةِ وَٱلصَّبْرِ.

that older men should be sober-minded, worthy of respect, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in patience:

٣ 3 كَذَلِكَ ٱلْعَجَائِزُ: فِي سِيرَةٍ تَلِيقُ بِٱلْقَدَاسَةِ، غَيْرَ ثَالِبَاتٍ، غَيْرَ مُسْتَعْبَدَاتٍ لِلْخَمْرِ ٱلْكَثِيرِ، مُعَلِّمَاتٍ ٱلصَّلَاحَ،

and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

٤ 4 لِكَيْ يَنْصَحْنَ ٱلْحَدَثَاتِ أَنْ يَكُنَّ مُحِبَّاتٍ لِرِجَالِهِنَّ وَيُحْبِبْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ،

that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

٥ 5 مُتَعَقِّلَاتٍ، عَفِيفَاتٍ، مُلَازِمَاتٍ بُيُوتَهُنَّ، صَالِحَاتٍ، خَاضِعَاتٍ لِرِجَالِهِنَّ، لِكَيْ لَا يُجَدَّفَ عَلَى كَلِمَةِ ٱللهِ.

to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and being subject to their own husbands, so that God's word may not be discredited.

٦ 6 كَذَلِكَ عِظِ ٱلْأَحْدَاثَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مُتَعَقِّلِينَ،

Likewise, exhort the younger men to be self-controlled;

٧ 7 مُقَدِّمًا نَفْسَكَ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قُدْوَةً لِلْأَعْمَالِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ، وَمُقَدِّمًا فِي ٱلتَّعْلِيمِ نَقَاوَةً، وَوَقَارًا، وَإِخْلَاصًا،

in all things showing yourself an example of good works. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness,

٨ 8 وَكَلَامًا صَحِيحًا غَيْرَ مَلُومٍ، لِكَيْ يُخْزَى ٱلْمُضَادُّ، إِذْ لَيْسَ لَهُ شَيْءٌ رَدِيءٌ يَقُولُهُ عَنْكُمْ.

and a sound message that cannot be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

٩ 9 وَٱلْعَبِيدَ أَنْ يَخْضَعُوا لِسَادَتِهِمْ، وَيُرْضُوهُمْ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، غَيْرَ مُنَاقِضِينَ،

Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting;

١٠ 10 غَيْرَ مُخْتَلِسِينَ، بَلْ مُقَدِّمِينَ كُلَّ أَمَانَةٍ صَالِحَةٍ، لِكَيْ يُزَيِّنُوا تَعْلِيمَ مُخَلِّصِنَا ٱللهِ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ.

not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

١١ 11 لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ ظَهَرَتْ نِعْمَةُ ٱللهِ ٱلْمُخَلِّصَةُ لِجَمِيعِ ٱلنَّاسِ،

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people,

١٢ 12 مُعَلِّمَةً إِيَّانَا أَنْ نُنْكِرَ ٱلْفُجُورَ وَٱلشَّهَوَاتِ ٱلْعَالَمِيَّةَ، وَنَعِيشَ بِٱلتَّعَقُّلِ وَٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَى فِي ٱلْعَالَمِ ٱلْحَاضِرِ، (aiōn g165)

instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; (aiōn g165)

١٣ 13 مُنْتَظِرِينَ ٱلرَّجَاءَ ٱلْمُبَارَكَ وَظُهُورَ مَجْدِ ٱللهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ وَمُخَلِّصِنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ،

looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;

١٤ 14 ٱلَّذِي بَذَلَ نَفْسَهُ لِأَجْلِنَا، لِكَيْ يَفْدِيَنَا مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ، وَيُطَهِّرَ لِنَفْسِهِ شَعْبًا خَاصًّا غَيُورًا فِي أَعْمَالٍ حَسَنَةٍ.

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

١٥ 15 تَكَلَّمْ بِهَذِهِ، وَعِظْ، وَوَبِّخْ بِكُلِّ سُلْطَانٍ. لَا يَسْتَهِنْ بِكَ أَحَدٌ.

Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.
