اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 83
| تَسْبِيحَةٌ. مَزْمُورٌ لِآسَافَ اَللَّهُمَّ، لَا تَصْمُتْ. لَا تَسْكُتْ وَلَا تَهْدَأْ يَاٱللهُ. | ١ 1 |
A song. A psalm of Asaph. God, do not be silent! Do not ignore us and remain unmoved, God.
| فَهُوَذَا أَعْدَاؤُكَ يَعِجُّونَ، وَمُبْغِضُوكَ قَدْ رَفَعُوا ٱلرَّأْسَ. | ٢ 2 |
Look, your enemies are making a commotion, and those who hate you have raised their heads.
| عَلَى شَعْبِكَ مَكَرُوا مُؤَامَرَةً، وَتَشَاوَرُوا عَلَى أَحْمِيَائِكَ. | ٣ 3 |
They conspire against your people and plan together against your protected ones.
| قَالُوا: «هَلُمَّ نُبِدْهُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ، وَلَا يُذْكَرُ ٱسْمُ إِسْرَائِيلَ بَعْدُ». | ٤ 4 |
They have said, “Come, and let us destroy them as a nation. Then the name of Israel will no longer be remembered.”
| لِأَنَّهُمْ تَآمَرُوا بِٱلْقَلْبِ مَعًا. عَلَيْكَ تَعَاهَدُوا عَهْدًا. | ٥ 5 |
They have schemed together with one strategy; against you they have made an alliance.
| خِيَامُ أَدُومَ وَٱلْإِسْمَاعِيلِيِّينَ، مُوآبُ وَٱلْهَاجَرِيُّونَ. | ٦ 6 |
This includes the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, and the people of Moab and the Hagrites, who plot together with
| جِبَالُ وَعَمُّونُ وَعَمَالِيقُ، فَلَسْطِينُ مَعَ سُكَّانِ صُورٍ. | ٧ 7 |
Gebal, Ammon, Amalek; it also includes Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre.
| أَشُّورُ أَيْضًا ٱتَّفَقَ مَعَهُمْ. صَارُوا ذِرَاعًا لِبَنِي لُوطٍ. سِلَاهْ. | ٨ 8 |
Assyria also is allied with them; they are helping the descendants of Lot. (Selah)
| اِفْعَلْ بِهِمْ كَمَا بِمِدْيَانَ، كَمَا بِسِيسَرَا، كَمَا بِيَابِينَ فِي وَادِي قِيشُونَ. | ٩ 9 |
Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and to Jabin at the Kishon River.
| بَادُوا فِي عَيْنِ دُورٍ. صَارُوا دِمَنًا لِلْأَرْضِ. | ١٠ 10 |
They perished at Endor and became like manure for the earth.
| ٱجْعَلْهُمْ، شُرَفَاءَهُمْ مِثْلَ غُرَابٍ، وَمِثْلَ ذِئْبٍ. وَمِثْلَ زَبَحَ، وَمِثْلَ صَلْمُنَّاعَ كُلَّ أُمَرَائِهِمْ. | ١١ 11 |
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna.
| ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا: «لِنَمْتَلِكْ لِأَنْفُسِنَا مَسَاكِنَ ٱللهِ». | ١٢ 12 |
They said, “Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God.”
| يَا إِلَهِي، ٱجْعَلْهُمْ مِثْلَ ٱلْجُلِّ، مِثْلَ ٱلْقَشِّ أَمَامَ ٱلرِّيحِ. | ١٣ 13 |
My God, make them like the whirling dust, like chaff before the wind,
| كَنَارٍ تَحْرِقُ ٱلْوَعْرَ، كَلَهِيبٍ يُشْعِلُ ٱلْجِبَالَ. | ١٤ 14 |
like the fire that burns the forest, and like the flame that sets the mountains on fire.
| هَكَذَا ٱطْرُدْهُمْ بِعَاصِفَتِكَ، وَبِزَوْبَعَتِكَ رَوِّعْهُمْ. | ١٥ 15 |
Chase them with your strong wind, and terrify them with your windstorm.
| ٱمْلَأْ وُجُوهَهُمْ خِزْيًا، فَيَطْلُبُوا ٱسْمَكَ يَارَبُّ. | ١٦ 16 |
Fill their faces with shame so that they might seek your name, Yahweh.
| لِيَخْزَوْا وَيَرْتَاعُوا إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، وَلْيَخْجَلُوا وَيَبِيدُوا، | ١٧ 17 |
May they be put to shame and be terrified forever; may they perish in disgrace.
| وَيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّكَ ٱسْمُكَ يَهْوَهُ وَحْدَكَ، ٱلْعَلِيُّ عَلَى كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ١٨ 18 |
Then they will know that you alone, Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
