اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 80

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «ٱلسُّوسَنِّ». شَهَادَةٌ. لِآسَافَ. مَزْمُورٌ يَا رَاعِيَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، ٱصْغَ، يَا قَائِدَ يُوسُفَ كَٱلضَّأْنِ، يَا جَالِسًا عَلَى ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ أَشْرِقْ.

“For the leader of the music. Upon the Shushan-Eduth. A psalm of Asaph.” Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel! Thou who leadest Joseph like a flock, Thou who sittest between the cherubs, shine forth!

٢ 2 قُدَّامَ أَفْرَايِمَ وَبِنْيَامِينَ وَمَنَسَّى أَيْقِظْ جَبَرُوتَكَ، وَهَلُمَّ لِخَلَاصِنَا.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, And come and save us!

٣ 3 يَا ٱللهُ أَرْجِعْنَا، وَأَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ فَنَخْلُصَ.

Bring us back, O God! And cause thy face to shine, that we may be saved!

٤ 4 يَارَبُّ إِلَهَ ٱلْجُنُودِ، إِلَى مَتَى تُدَخِّنُ عَلَى صَلَاةِ شَعْبِكَ؟

O LORD, God of hosts! How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

٥ 5 قَدْ أَطْعَمْتَهُمْ خُبْزَ ٱلدُّمُوعِ، وَسَقَيْتَهُمُ ٱلدُّمُوعَ بِٱلْكَيْلِ.

For thou causest them to eat the bread of tears, And givest them tears to drink, in full measure.

٦ 6 جَعَلْتَنَا نِزَاعًا عِنْدَ جِيرَانِنَا، وَأَعْدَاؤُنَا يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ بَيْنَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ.

Thou hast made us the object of strife to our neighbors, And our enemies hold us in derision.

٧ 7 يَا إِلَهَ ٱلْجُنُودِ أَرْجِعْنَا، وَأَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ فَنَخْلُصَ.

Bring us back, O God of hosts! And cause thy face to shine that we may be saved!

٨ 8 كَرْمَةً مِنْ مِصْرَ نَقَلْتَ. طَرَدْتَ أُمَمًا وَغَرَسْتَهَا.

Thou didst bring a vine out of Egypt; Thou didst expel the nations, and plant it.

٩ 9 هَيَّأْتَ قُدَّامَهَا فَأَصَّلَتْ أُصُولَهَا فَمَلَأَتِ ٱلْأَرْضَ.

Thou didst prepare a place for it; It spread its roots, and filled the land.

١٠ 10 غَطَّى ٱلْجِبَالَ ظِلُّهَا، وَأَغْصَانُهَا أَرْزَ ٱللهِ.

The mountains were covered with its shade, And its branches were like the cedars of God.

١١ 11 مَدَّتْ قُضْبَانَهَا إِلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ، وَإِلَى ٱلنَّهْرِ فُرُوعَهَا.

It sent out its boughs to the sea, And its branches to the river.

١٢ 12 فَلِمَاذَا هَدَمْتَ جُدْرَانَهَا فَيَقْطِفَهَا كُلُّ عَابِرِي ٱلطَّرِيقِ؟

Why hast thou now broken down its hedges, So that all who pass by do pluck from it?

١٣ 13 يُفْسِدُهَا ٱلْخِنْزِيرُ مِنَ ٱلْوَعْرِ، وَيَرْعَاهَا وَحْشُ ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ.

The boar from the wood doth waste it, And the wild beast of the forest doth devour it.

١٤ 14 يَا إِلَهَ ٱلْجُنُودِ، ٱرْجِعَنَّ. ٱطَّلِعْ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَٱنْظُرْ وَتَعَهَّدْ هَذِهِ ٱلْكَرْمَةَ،

O God of hosts! return, we beseech thee, Look down from heaven, and behold, And have regard to this vine!

١٥ 15 وَٱلْغَرْسَ ٱلَّذِي غَرَسَتْهُ يَمِينُكَ، وَٱلِٱبْنَ ٱلَّذِي ٱخْتَرْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ.

Protect what thy right hand planted; The branch which thou madest strong for thyself!

١٦ 16 هِيَ مَحْرُوقَةٌ بِنَارٍ، مَقْطُوعَةٌ. مِنِ ٱنْتِهَارِ وَجْهِكَ يَبِيدُونَ.

It is burnt with fire; it is cut down; Under thy rebuke they perish.

١٧ 17 لِتَكُنْ يَدُكَ عَلَى رَجُلِ يَمِينِكَ، وَعَلَى ٱبْنِ آدَمَ ٱلَّذِي ٱخْتَرْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ،

May thy hand be over the man of thy right hand, The man whom thou madest strong for thyself!

١٨ 18 فَلَا نَرْتَدَّ عَنْكَ. أَحْيِنَا فَنَدْعُوَ بِٱسْمِكَ.

So will we no more turn back from thee: Revive us, and upon thy name alone will we call!

١٩ 19 يَارَبُّ إِلَهَ ٱلْجُنُودِ، أَرْجِعْنَا. أَنِرْ بِوَجْهِكَ فَنَخْلُصَ.

Bring us back, O LORD, God of hosts! And cause thy face to shine, that we may he saved!
