اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 5

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «ذَوَاتِ ٱلنَّفْخِ». مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ لِكَلِمَاتِي أَصْغِ يَارَبُّ. تَأَمَّلْ صُرَاخِي.

To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my (meditation)

٢ 2 ٱسْتَمِعْ لِصَوْتِ دُعَائِي يَا مَلِكِي وَإِلَهِي، لِأَنِّي إِلَيْكَ أُصَلِّي.

Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for to thee will I pray.

٣ 3 يَارَبُّ، بِٱلْغَدَاةِ تَسْمَعُ صَوْتِي. بِٱلْغَدَاةِ أُوَجِّهُ صَلَاتِي نَحْوَكَ وَأَنْتَظِرُ.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] to thee, and will look up.

٤ 4 لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ لَسْتَ إِلَهًا يُسَرُّ بِٱلشَّرِّ، لَا يُسَاكِنُكَ ٱلشِّرِّيرُ.

For thou [art] not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

٥ 5 لَا يَقِفُ ٱلْمُفْتَخِرُونَ قُدَّامَ عَيْنَيْكَ. أَبْغَضْتَ كُلَّ فَاعِلِي ٱلْإِثْمِ.

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

٦ 6 تُهْلِكُ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّمِينَ بِٱلْكَذِبِ. رَجُلُ ٱلدِّمَاءِ وَٱلْغِشِّ يَكْرَهُهُ ٱلرَّبُّ.

Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

٧ 7 أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِكَثْرَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ أَدْخُلُ بَيْتَكَ. أَسْجُدُ فِي هَيْكَلِ قُدْسِكَ بِخَوْفِكَ.

But as for me, I will come [into] thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: [and] in thy fear will I worship towards thy holy temple.

٨ 8 يَارَبُّ، ٱهْدِنِي إِلَى بِرِّكَ بِسَبَبِ أَعْدَائِي. سَهِّلْ قُدَّامِي طَرِيقَكَ.

Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness, because of my enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

٩ 9 لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ صِدْقٌ. جَوْفُهُمْ هُوَّةٌ. حَلْقُهُمْ قَبْرٌ مَفْتُوحٌ. أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ صَقَلُوهَا.

For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickedness; their throat [is] an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue.

١٠ 10 دِنْهُمْ يَا ٱللهُ! لِيَسْقُطُوا مِنْ مُؤَامَرَاتِهِمْ. بِكَثْرَةِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ طَوِّحْ بِهِمْ، لِأَنَّهُمْ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيْكَ.

Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

١١ 11 وَيَفْرَحُ جَمِيعُ ٱلْمُتَّكِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ. إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ يَهْتِفُونَ، وَتُظَلِّلُهُمْ. وَيَبْتَهِجُ بِكَ مُحِبُّو ٱسْمِكَ.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

١٢ 12 لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تُبَارِكُ ٱلصِّدِّيقَ يَارَبُّ. كَأَنَّهُ بِتُرْسٍ تُحِيطُهُ بِٱلرِّضَا.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as [with] a shield.
