اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 41

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ طُوبَى لِلَّذِي يَنْظُرُ إِلَى ٱلْمِسْكِينِ. فِي يَوْمِ ٱلشَّرِّ يُنَجِّيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ.

For victorie, the song of Dauid. Blessid is he that vndurstondith `on a nedi man and pore; the Lord schal delyuere hym in the yuel dai.

٢ 2 ٱلرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُهُ وَيُحْيِيهِ. يَغْتَبِطُ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَلَا يُسَلِّمُهُ إِلَى مَرَامِ أَعْدَائِهِ.

The Lord kepe hym, and quykene hym, and make hym blesful in the lond; and bitake not hym in to the wille of his enemyes.

٣ 3 ٱلرَّبُّ يَعْضُدُهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى فِرَاشِ ٱلضُّعْفِ. مَهَّدْتَ مَضْجَعَهُ كُلَّهُ فِي مَرَضِهِ.

The Lord bere help to hym on the bed of his sorewe; thou hast ofte turned al his bed stre in his sijknesse.

٤ 4 أَنَا قُلْتُ: «يَارَبُّ ٱرْحَمْنِي. ٱشْفِ نَفْسِي لِأَنِّي قَدْ أَخْطَأْتُ إِلَيْكَ».

I seide, Lord, haue thou mercy on me; heele thou my soule, for Y synnede ayens thee.

٥ 5 أَعْدَائِي يَتَقَاوَلُونَ عَلَيَّ بِشَرٍّ: «مَتَى يَمُوتُ وَيَبِيدُ ٱسْمُهُ؟»

Myn enemyes seiden yuels to me; Whanne schal he die, and his name schal perische?

٦ 6 وَإِنْ دَخَلَ لِيَرَانِي يَتَكَلَّمُ بِٱلْكَذِبِ. قَلْبُهُ يَجْمَعُ لِنَفْسِهِ إِثْمًا. يَخْرُجُ. فِي ٱلْخَارِجِ يَتَكَلَّمُ.

And if he entride for to se, he spak veyn thingis; his herte gaderide wickidnesse to hym silf.

٧ 7 كُلُّ مُبْغِضِيَّ يَتَنَاجَوْنَ مَعًا عَلَيَّ. عَلَيَّ تَفَكَّرُوا بِأَذِيَّتِي.

He yede with out forth; and spak to the same thing. Alle myn enemyes bacbitiden pryuyli ayens me; ayens me thei thouyten yuels to me.

٨ 8 يَقُولُونَ: «أَمْرٌ رَدِيءٌ قَدِ ٱنْسَكَبَ عَلَيْهِ. حَيْثُ ٱضْطَجَعَ لَا يَعُودُ يَقُومُ».

Thei ordeineden an yuel word ayens me; Whether he that slepith, schal not leie to, that he rise ayen?

٩ 9 أَيْضًا رَجُلُ سَلَامَتِي، ٱلَّذِي وَثِقْتُ بِهِ، آكِلُ خُبْزِي، رَفَعَ عَلَيَّ عَقِبَهُ!

For whi the man of my pees, in whom Y hopide, he that eet my looues; made greet disseit on me.

١٠ 10 أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ فَٱرْحَمْنِي وَأَقِمْنِي، فَأُجَازِيَهُمْ.

But thou, Lord, haue merci on me, and reise me ayen; and Y schal yelde to hem.

١١ 11 بِهَذَا عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكَ سُرِرْتَ بِي، أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَهْتِفْ عَلَيَّ عَدُوِّي.

In this thing Y knew, that thou woldist me; for myn enemye schal not haue ioye on me.

١٢ 12 أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِكَمَالِي دَعَمْتَنِي، وَأَقَمْتَنِي قُدَّامَكَ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.

Forsothe thou hast take me vp for ynnocence; and hast confermed me in thi siyt with outen ende.

١٣ 13 مُبَارَكٌ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ، مِنَ ٱلْأَزَلِ وَإِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. آمِينَ فَآمِينَ.

Blessid be the Lord God of Israel, fro the world and in to the world; be it doon, be it doon.
