< اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 34 >
لِدَاوُدَ عِنْدَمَا غَيَّرَ عَقْلَهُ قُدَّامَ أَبِيمَالِكَ فَطَرَدَهُ فَٱنْطَلَقَ أُبَارِكُ ٱلرَّبَّ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ. دَائِمًا تَسْبِيحُهُ فِي فَمِي. | ١ 1 |
א I will bless Adonai at all times. His tehilah ·praise song· will always be in my mouth.
بِٱلرَّبِّ تَفْتَخِرُ نَفْسِي. يَسْمَعُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءُ فَيَفْرَحُونَ. | ٢ 2 |
בּ My soul shall boast in Adonai. The humble shall sh'ma ·hear obey· it, and be glad.
عَظِّمُوا ٱلرَّبَّ مَعِي، وَلْنُعَلِّ ٱسْمَهُ مَعًا. | ٣ 3 |
גּ Oh magnify Adonai with me. Let us exalt his name together.
طَلَبْتُ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لِي، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَخَاوِفِي أَنْقَذَنِي. | ٤ 4 |
דּ I sought Adonai, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
نَظَرُوا إِلَيْهِ وَٱسْتَنَارُوا، وَوُجُوهُهُمْ لَمْ تَخْجَلْ. | ٥ 5 |
ה They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
هَذَا ٱلْمِسْكِينُ صَرَخَ، وَٱلرَّبُّ ٱسْتَمَعَهُ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقَاتِهِ خَلَّصَهُ. | ٦ 6 |
ז This poor man cried, and Adonai sh'ma ·heard obeyed· him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
مَلَاكُ ٱلرَّبِّ حَالٌّ حَوْلَ خَائِفِيهِ، وَيُنَجِّيهِمْ. | ٧ 7 |
ח Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
ذُوقُوا وَٱنْظُرُوا مَا أَطْيَبَ ٱلرَّبَّ! طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَلَيْهِ. | ٨ 8 |
ט Oh taste and see that Adonai is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
ٱتَّقُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا قِدِّيسِيهِ، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَوَزٌ لِمُتَّقِيهِ. | ٩ 9 |
י Oh fear Adonai, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
ٱلْأَشْبَالُ ٱحْتَاجَتْ وَجَاعَتْ، وَأَمَّا طَالِبُو ٱلرَّبِّ فَلَا يُعْوِزُهُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ. | ١٠ 10 |
כּ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Adonai shall not lack any good thing.
هَلُمَّ أَيُّهَا ٱلْبَنُونَ ٱسْتَمِعُوا إِلَيَّ فَأُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَخَافَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ. | ١١ 11 |
ל Come, you children, sh'ma ·hear obey· unto me. I will teach you the fear of Adonai.
مَنْ هُوَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلَّذِي يَهْوَى ٱلْحَيَاةَ، وَيُحِبُّ كَثْرَةَ ٱلْأَيَّامِ لِيَرَى خَيْرًا؟ | ١٢ 12 |
מ Who of you takes pleasure in living? Who 'ahav ·affectionately loves· a long life to see good things?
صُنْ لِسَانَكَ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَشَفَتَيْكَ عَنِ ٱلتَّكَلُّمِ بِٱلْغِشِّ. | ١٣ 13 |
נ [If you do], keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from deceiving talk;
حِدْ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَٱصْنَعِ ٱلْخَيْرَ. ٱطْلُبِ ٱلسَّلَامَةَ، وَٱسْعَ وَرَاءَهَا. | ١٤ 14 |
ס turn from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and fervently pursue it!
عَيْنَا ٱلرَّبِّ نَحْوَ ٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ، وَأُذُنَاهُ إِلَى صُرَاخِهِمْ. | ١٥ 15 |
ע For Adonai’s eyes are toward the upright. His ears listen to their prayers.
وَجْهُ ٱلرَّبِّ ضِدُّ عَامِلِي ٱلشَّرِّ لِيَقْطَعَ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ. | ١٦ 16 |
פּ But Adonai’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.
أُولَئِكَ صَرَخُوا، وَٱلرَّبُّ سَمِعَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَدَائِدِهِمْ أَنْقَذَهُمْ. | ١٧ 17 |
צ The upright cry, and Adonai sh'ma ·hears obeys·, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
قَرِيبٌ هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنَ ٱلْمُنْكَسِرِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ، وَيُخَلِّصُ ٱلْمُنْسَحِقِي ٱلرُّوحِ. | ١٨ 18 |
ק Adonai is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ بَلَايَا ٱلصِّدِّيقِ، وَمِنْ جَمِيعِهَا يُنَجِّيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ. | ١٩ 19 |
ר Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Adonai delivers him out of them all.
يَحْفَظُ جَمِيعَ عِظَامِهِ. وَاحِدٌ مِنْهَا لَا يَنْكَسِرُ. | ٢٠ 20 |
שׁ He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
ٱلشَّرُّ يُمِيتُ ٱلشِّرِّيرَ، وَمُبْغِضُو ٱلصِّدِّيقِ يُعَاقَبُونَ. | ٢١ 21 |
תּ Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the upright shall be condemned guilty.
ٱلرَّبُّ فَادِي نُفُوسِ عَبِيدِهِ، وَكُلُّ مَنِ ٱتَّكَلَ عَلَيْهِ لَا يُعَاقَبُ. | ٢٢ 22 |
Adonai redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned guilty.
