< اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 25 >
لِدَاوُدَ إِلَيْكَ يَارَبُّ أَرْفَعُ نَفْسِي. | ١ 1 |
א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.
يَا إِلَهِي عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، فَلَا تَدَعْنِي أَخْزَى. لَا تَشْمَتْ بِي أَعْدَائِي. | ٢ 2 |
בּ My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
أَيْضًا كُلُّ مُنْتَظِرِيكَ لَا يَخْزَوْا. لِيَخْزَ ٱلْغَادِرُونَ بِلَا سَبَبٍ. | ٣ 3 |
גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
طُرُقَكَ يَارَبُّ عَرِّفْنِي. سُبُلَكَ عَلِّمْنِي. | ٤ 4 |
דּ Show me your ways, Adonai. Teach me your paths.
دَرِّبْنِي فِي حَقِّكَ وَعَلِّمْنِي، لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ إِلَهُ خَلَاصِي. إِيَّاكَ ٱنْتَظَرْتُ ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ. | ٥ 5 |
ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·, I wait for you all day long.
ٱذْكُرْ مَرَاحِمَكَ يَارَبُّ وَإِحْسَانَاتِكَ، لِأَنَّهَا مُنْذُ ٱلْأَزَلِ هِيَ. | ٦ 6 |
ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for they are from old times.
لَا تَذْكُرْ خَطَايَا صِبَايَ وَلَا مَعَاصِيَّ. كَرَحْمَتِكَ ٱذْكُرْنِي أَنْتَ مِنْ أَجْلِ جُودِكَ يَارَبُّ. | ٧ 7 |
ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships. Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.
اَلرَّبُّ صَالِحٌ وَمُسْتَقِيمٌ، لِذَلِكَ يُعَلِّمُ ٱلْخُطَاةَ ٱلطَّرِيقَ. | ٨ 8 |
ט Good and upright is Adonai, therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.
يُدَرِّبُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءَ فِي ٱلْحَقِّ، وَيُعَلِّمُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءَ طُرُقَهُ. | ٩ 9 |
י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·. He will teach the humble his way.
كُلُّ سُبُلِ ٱلرَّبِّ رَحْمَةٌ وَحَقٌّ لِحَافِظِي عَهْدِهِ وَشَهَادَاتِهِ. | ١٠ 10 |
כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱسْمِكَ يَارَبُّ ٱغْفِرْ إِثْمِي لِأَنَّهُ عَظِيمٌ. | ١١ 11 |
ל For your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.
مَنْ هُوَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلْخَائِفُ ٱلرَّبَّ؟ يُعَلِّمُهُ طَرِيقًا يَخْتَارُهُ. | ١٢ 12 |
מ What man is he who fears Adonai? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
نَفْسُهُ فِي ٱلْخَيْرِ تَبِيتُ، وَنَسْلُهُ يَرِثُ ٱلْأَرْضَ. | ١٣ 13 |
נ His soul shall dwell at ease. His offspring shall inherit the land.
سِرُّ ٱلرَّبِّ لِخَائِفِيهِ، وَعَهْدُهُ لِتَعْلِيمِهِمْ. | ١٤ 14 |
ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
عَيْنَايَ دَائِمًا إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ، لِأَنَّهُ هُوَ يُخْرِجُ رِجْلَيَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّبَكَةِ. | ١٥ 15 |
ע My eyes are ever on Adonai, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
اِلْتَفِتْ إِلَيَّ وَٱرْحَمْنِي، لِأَنِّي وَحْدٌ وَمِسْكِينٌ أَنَا. | ١٦ 16 |
פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
اُفْرُجْ ضِيقَاتِ قَلْبِي. مِنْ شَدَائِدِي أَخْرِجْنِي. | ١٧ 17 |
צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
ٱنْظُرْ إِلَى ذُلِّي وَتَعَبِي، وَٱغْفِرْ جَمِيعَ خَطَايَايَ. | ١٨ 18 |
ר Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.
ٱنْظُرْ إِلَى أَعْدَائِي لِأَنَّهُمْ قَدْ كَثُرُوا، وَبُغْضًا ظُلْمًا أَبْغَضُونِي. | ١٩ 19 |
ר Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
ٱحْفَظْ نَفْسِي وَأَنْقِذْنِي. لَا أُخْزَى لِأَنِّي عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ. | ٢٠ 20 |
שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
يَحْفَظُنِي ٱلْكَمَالُ وَٱلِٱسْتِقَامَةُ، لِأَنِّي ٱنْتَظَرْتُكَ. | ٢١ 21 |
תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
يَا ٱللهُ، ٱفْدِ إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقَاتِهِ. | ٢٢ 22 |
Redeem Israel [God prevails], God, out all of his troubles.
