اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 23

١ 1 مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ ٱلرَّبُّ رَاعِيَّ فَلَا يُعْوِزُنِي شَيْءٌ.

A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.

٢ 2 فِي مَرَاعٍ خُضْرٍ يُرْبِضُنِي. إِلَى مِيَاهِ ٱلرَّاحَةِ يُورِدُنِي.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters.

٣ 3 يَرُدُّ نَفْسِي. يَهْدِينِي إِلَى سُبُلِ ٱلْبِرِّ مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱسْمِهِ.

He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

٤ 4 أَيْضًا إِذَا سِرْتُ فِي وَادِي ظِلِّ ٱلْمَوْتِ لَا أَخَافُ شَرًّا، لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ مَعِي. عَصَاكَ وَعُكَّازُكَ هُمَا يُعَزِّيَانِنِي.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

٥ 5 تُرَتِّبُ قُدَّامِي مَائِدَةً تُجَاهَ مُضَايِقِيَّ. مَسَحْتَ بِٱلدُّهْنِ رَأْسِي. كَأْسِي رَيَّا.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

٦ 6 إِنَّمَا خَيْرٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ يَتْبَعَانِنِي كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِي، وَأَسْكُنُ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَى مَدَى ٱلْأَيَّامِ.

Surely, goodness and loving-kindness shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of Jehovah for the length of the days.
