اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 21

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ يَارَبُّ، بِقُوَّتِكَ يَفْرَحُ ٱلْمَلِكُ، وَبِخَلَاصِكَ كَيْفَ لَا يَبْتَهِجُ جِدًّا!

To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. Jehovah, in Thy strength is the king joyful, In Thy salvation how greatly he rejoiceth.

٢ 2 شَهْوَةَ قَلْبِهِ أَعْطَيْتَهُ، وَمُلْتَمَسَ شَفَتَيْهِ لَمْ تَمْنَعْهُ. سِلَاهْ.

The desire of his heart Thou gavest to him, And the request of his lips Thou hast not withheld. (Selah)

٣ 3 لِأَنَّكَ تَتَقَدَّمُهُ بِبَرَكَاتِ خَيْرٍ. وَضَعْتَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجًا مِنْ إِبْرِيزٍ.

For Thou puttest before him blessings of goodness, Thou settest on his head a crown of fine gold.

٤ 4 حَيَاةً سَأَلَكَ فَأَعْطَيْتَهُ. طُولَ ٱلْأَيَّامِ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ وَٱلْأَبَدِ.

Life he hath asked from Thee, Thou hast given to him — length of days, Age-during — and for ever.

٥ 5 عَظِيمٌ مَجْدُهُ بِخَلَاصِكَ، جَلَالًا وَبَهَاءً تَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ.

Great [is] his honour in Thy salvation, Honour and majesty Thou placest on him.

٦ 6 لِأَنَّكَ جَعَلْتَهُ بَرَكَاتٍ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. تُفَرِّحُهُ ٱبْتِهَاجًا أَمَامَكَ.

For Thou makest him blessings for ever, Thou dost cause him to rejoice with joy, By Thy countenance.

٧ 7 لِأَنَّ ٱلْمَلِكَ يَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ، وَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ لَا يَتَزَعْزَعُ.

For the king is trusting in Jehovah, And in the kindness of the Most High He is not moved.

٨ 8 تُصِيبُ يَدُكَ جَمِيعَ أَعْدَائِكَ. يَمِينُكَ تُصِيبُ كُلَّ مُبْغِضِيكَ.

Thy hand cometh to all Thine enemies, Thy right hand doth find Thy haters.

٩ 9 تَجْعَلُهُمْ مِثْلَ تَنُّورِ نَارٍ فِي زَمَانِ حُضُورِكَ. ٱلرَّبُّ بِسَخَطِهِ يَبْتَلِعُهُمْ وَتَأْكُلُهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ.

Thou makest them as a furnace of fire, At the time of Thy presence. Jehovah in His anger doth swallow them, And fire doth devour them.

١٠ 10 تُبِيدُ ثَمَرَهُمْ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ بَنِي آدَمَ.

Their fruit from earth Thou destroyest, And their seed from the sons of men.

١١ 11 لِأَنَّهُمْ نَصَبُوا عَلَيْكَ شَرًّا. تَفَكَّرُوا بِمَكِيدَةٍ. لَمْ يَسْتَطِيعُوهَا.

For they stretched out against Thee evil, They devised a wicked device, they prevail not,

١٢ 12 لِأَنَّكَ تَجْعَلُهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ. تُفَوِّقُ ٱلسِّهَامَ عَلَى أَوْتَارِكَ تِلْقَاءَ وُجُوهِهِمْ.

For Thou makest them a butt, When Thy strings Thou preparest against their faces.

١٣ 13 ٱرْتَفِعْ يَارَبُّ بِقُوَّتِكَ. نُرَنِّمْ وَنُنَغِّمْ بِجَبَرُوتِكَ.

Be Thou exalted, O Jehovah in, Thy strength, We sing and we praise Thy might!
