اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 12

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «ٱلْقَرَارِ». مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ خَلِّصْ يَارَبُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَرَضَ ٱلتَّقِيُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَطَعَ ٱلْأُمَنَاءُ مِنْ بَنِي ٱلْبَشَرِ.

To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

٢ 2 يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِٱلْكَذِبِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مَعَ صَاحِبِهِ، بِشِفَاهٍ مَلِقَةٍ، بِقَلْبٍ فَقَلْبٍ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ.

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lips [and] with a double heart do they speak.

٣ 3 يَقْطَعُ ٱلرَّبُّ جَمِيعَ ٱلشِّفَاهِ ٱلْمَلِقَةِ وَٱللِّسَانَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّمَ بِٱلْعَظَائِمِ،

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, [and] the tongue that speaketh proud things:

٤ 4 ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا: «بِأَلْسِنَتِنَا نَتَجَبَّرُ. شِفَاهُنَا مَعَنَا. مَنْ هُوَ سَيِّدٌ عَلَيْنَا؟».

Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips [are] our own: who [is] lord over us?

٥ 5 «مِنِ ٱغْتِصَابِ ٱلْمَسَاكِينِ، مِنْ صَرْخَةِ ٱلْبَائِسِينَ، ٱلْآنَ أَقُومُ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، أَجْعَلُ فِي وُسْعٍ ٱلَّذِي يُنْفَثُ فِيهِ».

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set [him] in safety [from him that] puffeth at him.

٦ 6 كَلَامُ ٱلرَّبِّ كَلَامٌ نَقِيٌّ، كَفِضَّةٍ مُصَفَّاةٍ فِي بُوطَةٍ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، مَمْحُوصَةٍ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ.

The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

٧ 7 أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ تَحْفَظُهُمْ. تَحْرُسُهُمْ مِنْ هَذَا ٱلْجِيلِ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ.

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

٨ 8 ٱلْأَشْرَارُ يَتَمَشَّوْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ عِنْدَ ٱرْتِفَاعِ ٱلْأَرْذَالِ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ.

The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
