اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 114

١ 1 عِنْدَ خُرُوجِ إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ مِصْرَ، وَبَيْتِ يَعْقُوبَ مِنْ شَعْبٍ أَعْجَمَ،

When Israel went out of Egypt, and the house of Iaakob from the barbarous people,

٢ 2 كَانَ يَهُوذَا مَقْدِسَهُ، وَإِسْرَائِيلُ مَحَلَّ سُلْطَانِهِ.

Iudah was his sanctification, and Israel his dominion.

٣ 3 ٱلْبَحْرُ رَآهُ فَهَرَبَ. ٱلْأُرْدُنُّ رَجَعَ إِلَى خَلْفٍ.

The Sea sawe it and fled: Iorden was turned backe.

٤ 4 ٱلْجِبَالُ قَفَزَتْ مِثْلَ ٱلْكِبَاشِ، وَٱلْآكَامُ مِثْلَ حُمْلَانِ ٱلْغَنَمِ.

The mountaines leaped like rams, and the hils as lambes.

٥ 5 مَا لَكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْبَحْرُ قَدْ هَرَبْتَ ؟ وَمَا لَكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْأُرْدُنُّ قَدْ رَجَعْتَ إِلَى خَلْفٍ ؟

What ailed thee, O Sea, that thou fleddest? O Iorden, why wast thou turned backe?

٦ 6 وَمَا لَكُنَّ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْجِبَالُ قَدْ قَفَزْتُنَّ مِثْلَ ٱلْكِبَاشِ، وَأَيَّتُهَا ٱلتِّلَالُ مِثْلَ حُمْلَانِ ٱلْغَنَمِ؟

Ye mountaines, why leaped ye like rams, and ye hils as lambes?

٧ 7 أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَرْضُ تَزَلْزَلِي مِنْ قُدَّامِ ٱلرَّبِّ، مِنْ قُدَّامِ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ!

The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Iaakob,

٨ 8 ٱلْمُحَوِّلِ ٱلصَّخْرَةَ إِلَى غُدْرَانِ مِيَاهٍ، ٱلصَّوَّانَ إِلَى يَنَابِيعِ مِيَاهٍ.

Which turneth the rocke into waterpooles, and the flint into a fountaine of water.
