اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 113

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا. سَبِّحُوا يَا عَبِيدَ ٱلرَّبِّ. سَبِّحُوا ٱسْمَ ٱلرَّبِّ.

Praise Yahweh! You people who serve Yahweh, praise him! Praise (him/his name)!

٢ 2 لِيَكُنِ ٱسْمُ ٱلرَّبِّ مُبَارَكًا مِنَ ٱلْآنَ وَإِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.

Yahweh should be praised now and forever!

٣ 3 مِنْ مَشْرِقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ إِلَى مَغْرِبِهَا ٱسْمُ ٱلرَّبِّ مُسَبَّحٌ.

People who live in the east and people who live in the west, everyone, should praise Yahweh [MTY]!

٤ 4 ٱلرَّبُّ عَالٍ فَوْقَ كُلِّ ٱلْأُمَمِ. فَوْقَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ مَجْدُهُ.

Yahweh rules [MTY] over all the nations, and high in the heavens he shows that his glory is very great.

٥ 5 مَنْ مِثْلُ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا ٱلسَّاكِنِ فِي ٱلْأَعَالِي؟

There is no one [RHQ] who is like Yahweh, our God, who lives/sits/rules in the highest heaven,

٦ 6 ٱلنَّاظِرِ ٱلْأَسَافِلَ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي ٱلْأَرْضِ،

and looks far down through the heavens and sees the [people on] the earth.

٧ 7 ٱلْمُقِيمِ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ مِنَ ٱلتُّرَابِ، ٱلرَّافِعِ ٱلْبَائِسَ مِنَ ٱلْمَزْبَلَةِ

[Sometimes] he lifts poor people up [so that they no longer sit in] the dirt; he helps needy [people so that they no longer sit on] heaps of ashes

٨ 8 لِيُجْلِسَهُ مَعَ أَشْرَافٍ، مَعَ أَشْرَافِ شَعْبِهِ.

and causes them to [be honored] by sitting next to princes, the sons of the kings [who rule] their people.

٩ 9 ٱلْمُسْكِنِ ٱلْعَاقِرَ فِي بَيْتٍ، أُمَّ أَوْلَادٍ فَرْحَانَةً. هَلِّلُويَا.

He also enables women who have no children to have a family; he causes them to be happy mothers. Praise Yahweh!
