اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 112

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا. طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلْمُتَّقِي ٱلرَّبِّ، ٱلْمَسْرُورِ جِدًّا بِوَصَايَاهُ.

Praise YAH! [ALEPH-BET] O the blessedness of one fearing YHWH, He has greatly delighted in His commands.

٢ 2 نَسْلُهُ يَكُونُ قَوِيًّا فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. جِيلُ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ يُبَارَكُ.

His seed is mighty in the earth, The generation of the upright is blessed.

٣ 3 رَغْدٌ وَغِنًى فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَبِرُّهُ قَائِمٌ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.

Wealth and riches [are] in his house, And his righteousness is standing forever.

٤ 4 نُورٌ أَشْرَقَ فِي ٱلظُّلْمَةِ لِلْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ. هُوَ حَنَّانٌ وَرَحِيمٌ وَصِدِّيقٌ.

Light has risen in darkness to the upright, Gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

٥ 5 سَعِيدٌ هُوَ ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلَّذِي يَتَرَأَّفُ وَيُقْرِضُ. يُدَبِّرُ أُمُورَهُ بِٱلْحَقِّ.

The man—good, gracious, and lending, He sustains his matters in judgment.

٦ 6 لِأَنَّهُ لَا يَتَزَعْزَعُ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. ٱلصِّدِّيقُ يَكُونُ لِذِكْرٍ أَبَدِيٍّ.

For he is not moved for all time; For the righteous is a continuous memorial.

٧ 7 لَا يَخْشَى مِنْ خَبَرِ سُوءٍ. قَلْبُهُ ثَابِتٌ مُتَّكِلًا عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ.

He is not afraid of an evil report, His heart is prepared [and] confident in YHWH.

٨ 8 قَلْبُهُ مُمَكَّنٌ فَلَا يَخَافُ حَتَّى يَرَى بِمُضَايِقِيهِ.

His heart is sustained—he does not fear, Until he looks on his adversaries.

٩ 9 فَرَّقَ أَعْطَى ٱلْمَسَاكِينَ. بِرُّهُ قَائِمٌ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. قَرْنُهُ يَنْتَصِبُ بِٱلْمَجْدِ.

He has scattered—has given to the needy, His righteousness is standing forever, His horn is exalted with glory.

١٠ 10 ٱلشِّرِّيرُ يَرَى فَيَغْضَبُ. يُحَرِّقُ أَسْنَانَهُ وَيَذُوبُ. شَهْوَةُ ٱلشِّرِّيرِ تَبِيدُ.

The wicked sees, and has been angry, He gnashes his teeth, and has melted, The desire of the wicked perishes!
