اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 111

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا. أَحْمَدُ ٱلرَّبَّ بِكُلِّ قَلْبِي فِي مَجْلِسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ وَجَمَاعَتِهِمْ.

Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

٢ 2 عَظِيمَةٌ هِيَ أَعْمَالُ ٱلرَّبِّ. مَطْلُوبَةٌ لِكُلِّ ٱلْمَسْرُورِينَ بِهَا.

Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.

٣ 3 جَلَالٌ وَبَهَاءٌ عَمَلُهُ، وَعَدْلُهُ قَائِمٌ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.

Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.

٤ 4 صَنَعَ ذِكْرًا لِعَجَائِبِهِ. حَنَّانٌ وَرَحِيمٌ هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ.

He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.

٥ 5 أَعْطَى خَائِفِيهِ طَعَامًا. يَذْكُرُ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ عَهْدَهُ.

He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.

٦ 6 أَخْبَرَ شَعْبَهُ بِقُوَّةِ أَعْمَالِهِ، لِيُعْطِيَهُمْ مِيرَاثَ ٱلْأُمَمِ.

The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.

٧ 7 أَعْمَالُ يَدَيْهِ أَمَانَةٌ وَحَقٌّ. كُلُّ وَصَايَاهُ أَمِينَةٌ.

The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.

٨ 8 ثَابِتَةٌ مَدَى ٱلدَّهْرِ وَٱلْأَبَدِ، مَصْنُوعَةٌ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلِٱسْتِقَامَةِ.

They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.

٩ 9 أَرْسَلَ فِدَاءً لِشَعْبِهِ. أَقَامَ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ عَهْدَهُ. قُدُّوسٌ وَمَهُوبٌ ٱسْمُهُ.

Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.

١٠ 10 رَأْسُ ٱلْحِكْمَةِ مَخَافَةُ ٱلرَّبِّ. فِطْنَةٌ جَيِّدَةٌ لِكُلِّ عَامِلِيهَا. تَسْبِيحُهُ قَائِمٌ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
