اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 103

١ 1 لِدَاوُدَ بَارِكِي يَا نَفْسِي ٱلرَّبَّ، وَكُلُّ مَا فِي بَاطِنِي لِيُبَارِكِ ٱسْمَهُ ٱلْقُدُّوسَ.

“Of David.” Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and all that is within me, his holy name.

٢ 2 بَارِكِي يَا نَفْسِي ٱلرَّبَّ، وَلَا تَنْسَيْ كُلَّ حَسَنَاتِهِ.

Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and forget not all his benefits:

٣ 3 ٱلَّذِي يَغْفِرُ جَمِيعَ ذُنُوبِكِ. ٱلَّذِي يَشْفِي كُلَّ أَمْرَاضِكِ.

Who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

٤ 4 ٱلَّذِي يَفْدِي مِنَ ٱلْحُفْرَةِ حَيَاتَكِ. ٱلَّذِي يُكَلِّلُكِ بِٱلرَّحْمَةِ وَٱلرَّأْفَةِ.

Who redeemeth from the pit thy life; who crowneth thee with kindness and mercies;

٥ 5 ٱلَّذِي يُشْبِعُ بِٱلْخَيْرِ عُمْرَكِ، فَيَتَجَدَّدُ مِثْلَ ٱلنَّسْرِ شَبَابُكِ.

Who satisfieth with happiness thy spirit, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's [plumage].

٦ 6 اَلرَّبُّ مُجْرِي ٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلْقَضَاءِ لِجَمِيعِ ٱلْمَظْلُومِينَ.

The Lord executeth righteousness, and justice for all that are oppressed.

٧ 7 عَرَّفَ مُوسَى طُرُقَهُ، وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَفْعَالَهُ.

He made known his ways unto Moses, unto the children of Israel his acts.

٨ 8 ٱلرَّبُّ رَحِيمٌ وَرَؤُوفٌ، طَوِيلُ ٱلرُّوحِ وَكَثِيرُ ٱلرَّحْمَةِ.

Merciful and gracious is the Lord, long-suffering and abundant in kindness.

٩ 9 لَا يُحَاكِمُ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، وَلَا يَحْقِدُ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ.

Not for all eternity will he contend; nor will he for ever retain his anger.

١٠ 10 لَمْ يَصْنَعْ مَعَنَا حَسَبَ خَطَايَانَا، وَلَمْ يُجَازِنَا حَسَبَ آثَامِنَا.

Not in accordance with our sins hath he dealt with us; nor according to our iniquities hath he requited us.

١١ 11 لِأَنَّهُ مِثْلُ ٱرْتِفَاعِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ فَوْقَ ٱلْأَرْضِ قَوِيَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ عَلَى خَائِفِيهِ.

For as high as heaven is above the earth, so mighty is his kindness toward those that fear him.

١٢ 12 كَبُعْدِ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ مِنَ ٱلْمَغْرِبِ أَبْعَدَ عَنَّا مَعَاصِيَنَا.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed from us our transgressions.

١٣ 13 كَمَا يَتَرَأَفُ ٱلْأَبُ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ يَتَرَأَفُ ٱلرَّبُّ عَلَى خَائِفِيهِ.

As a father hath mercy on his children, so hath the Lord mercy on those that fear him.

١٤ 14 لِأَنَّهُ يَعْرِفُ جِبْلَتَنَا. يَذْكُرُ أَنَّنَا تُرَابٌ نَحْنُ.

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

١٥ 15 ٱلْإِنْسَانُ مِثْلُ ٱلْعُشْبِ أَيَّامُهُ. كَزَهَرِ ٱلْحَقْلِ كَذَلِكَ يُزْهِرُ.

As for man, like the grass are his days: as the blossom of the field, so doth he bloom.

١٦ 16 لِأَنَّ رِيحًا تَعْبُرُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَا يَكُونُ، وَلَا يَعْرِفُهُ مَوْضِعُهُ بَعْدُ.

When a wind but passeth over it, it is gone, and its place will recognize it no more.

١٧ 17 أَمَّا رَحْمَةُ ٱلرَّبِّ فَإِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ وَٱلْأَبَدِ عَلَى خَائِفِيهِ، وَعَدْلُهُ عَلَى بَنِي ٱلْبَنِينَ،

But the kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting over those that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,

١٨ 18 لِحَافِظِي عَهْدِهِ وَذَاكِرِي وَصَايَاهُ لِيَعْمَلُوهَا.

To such as keep his covenant, and to those who remember his precepts to execute them.

١٩ 19 اَلرَّبُّ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ثَبَّتَ كُرْسِيَّهُ، وَمَمْلَكَتُهُ عَلَى ٱلْكُلِّ تَسُودُ.

The Lord hath established in the heavens his throne; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

٢٠ 20 بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا مَلَائِكَتَهُ ٱلْمُقْتَدِرِينَ قُوَّةً، ٱلْفَاعِلِينَ أَمْرَهُ عِنْدَ سَمَاعِ صَوْتِ كَلَامِهِ.

Bless the Lord, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

٢١ 21 بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا جَمِيعَ جُنُودِهِ، خُدَّامَهُ ٱلْعَامِلِينَ مَرْضَاتَهُ.

Bless ye the Lord, all his hosts, ye his ministers, that execute his will.

٢٢ 22 بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا جَمِيعَ أَعْمَالِهِ، فِي كُلِّ مَوَاضِعِ سُلْطَانِهِ. بَارِكِي يَا نَفْسِيَ ٱلرَّبَّ.

Bless the Lord, all his works, in all the places of his dominion; bless, O my soul, the Lord.
