اَلْعَدَد 2

١ 1 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ َقَائِلًا:

Yahweh spoke again to Moses and Aaron. He said,

٢ 2 «يَنْزِلُ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ كُلٌّ عِنْدَ رَايَتِهِ بِأَعْلَامٍ لِبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ. قُبَالَةَ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ حَوْلَهَا يَنْزِلُونَ.

“Each one of the Israelites must camp around his standard, with the banners of their fathers' houses. They will camp around the tent of meeting on every side.

٣ 3 فَٱلنَّازِلُونَ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ، نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ، رَايَةُ مَحَلَّةِ يَهُوذَا حَسَبَ أَجْنَادِهِمْ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي يَهُوذَا نَحْشُونُ بْنُ عَمِّينَادَابَ،

Those will be camping on the east of the tent of meeting, where the sun rises, they are the camp of Judah and they are camping under their standard. Nahshon son of Amminadab is the leader of the people of Judah.

٤ 4 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ.

The number of the people of Judah is 74,600.

٥ 5 وَٱلنَّازِلُونَ مَعَهُ سِبْطُ يَسَّاكَرَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ نَثَنَائِيلُ بْنُ صُوغَرَ،

The tribe of Issachar must camp next to Judah. Nethanel son of Zuar must lead the army of Issachar.

٦ 6 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 54,400 men.

٧ 7 وَسِبْطُ زَبُولُونَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي زَبُولُونَ أَلِيآبُ بْنُ حِيلُونَ،

The tribe of Zebulun must camp next to Issachar. Eliab son of Helon must lead the army of Zebulun.

٨ 8 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُ سَبْعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 57,400.

٩ 9 جَمِيعُ ٱلْمَعْدُودِينَ لِمَحَلَّةِ يَهُوذَا مِئَةُ أَلْفٍ وَسِتَّةٌ وَثَمَانُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ بِأَجْنَادِهِمْ. يَرْتَحِلُونَ أَوَّلًا.

All the number of the camp of Judah is 186,400. They will set out first.

١٠ 10 «رَايَةُ مَحَلَّةِ رَأُوبَيْنَ إِلَى ٱلتَّيْمَنِ حَسَبَ أَجْنَادِهِمْ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ أَلِيصُورُ بْنُ شَدَيْئُورَ،

On the south side will be the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the camp of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.

١١ 11 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُ سِتَّةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفًا وَخَمْسُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 46,500.

١٢ 12 وَٱلنَّازِلُونَ مَعَهُ سِبْطُ شِمْعُونَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي شِمْعُونَ شَلُومِيئِيلُ بْنُ صُورِيشَدَّاي،

Simeon is camping next to Reuben. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

١٣ 13 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ تِسْعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 59,300.

١٤ 14 وَسِبْطُ جَادَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي جَادْ أَلِيَاسَافُ بْنُ رَعُوئِيلَ،

The tribe of Gad is next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.

١٥ 15 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ خَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفًا وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسُونَ.

The number in his division is 45,650.

١٦ 16 جَمِيعُ ٱلْمَعْدُودِينَ لِمَحَلَّةِ رَأُوبَيْنَ مِئَةُ أَلْفٍ وَوَاحِدٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسُونَ بِأَجْنَادِهِمْ، وَيَرْتَحِلُونَ ثَانِيَةً.

The number of all the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, is 151,450. They will set out second.

١٧ 17 «ثُمَّ تَرْتَحِلُ خَيْمَةُ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ. مَحَلَّةُ ٱللَّاوِيِّينَ فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْمَحَلَّاتِ. كَمَا يَنْزِلُونَ كَذَلِكَ يَرْتَحِلُونَ. كُلٌّ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ بِرَايَاتِهِمْ.

Next, the tent of meeting must go out from the camp with the Levites in the middle of all the camps. They must go out from the camp in the same order as they come into the camp. Every man must be in his place, by his banner.

١٨ 18 «رَايَةُ مَحَلَّةِ أَفْرَايِمَ حَسَبَ أَجْنَادِهِمْ إِلَى ٱلْغَرْبِ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي أَفْرَايِمَ أَلِيشَمَعُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ،

The divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.

١٩ 19 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفًا وَخَمْسُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 40,500.

٢٠ 20 وَمَعَهُ سِبْطُ مَنَسَّى، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي مَنَسَّى جَمْلِيئِيلُ بْنُ فَدَهْصُورَ،

Next to them is the tribe of Manasseh. The leader of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

٢١ 21 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَانِ وَثَلَاثُونَ أَلْفًا وَمِئَتَانِ.

The number in his division is 32,200.

٢٢ 22 وَسِبْطُ بَنْيَامِينَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي بَنْيَامِينَ أَبِيدَنُ بْنُ جِدْعُونِي،

Next will be the tribe of Benjamin. The leader of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.

٢٣ 23 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ خَمْسَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 35,400.

٢٤ 24 جَمِيعُ ٱلْمَعْدُودِينَ لِمَحَلَّةِ أَفْرَايِمَ مِئَةُ أَلْفٍ وَثَمَانِيَةُ آلَافٍ وَمِئَةٌ بِأَجْنَادِهِمْ، وَيَرْتَحِلُونَ ثَالِثَةً.

All those numbered in the camp of Ephraim is 108,100. They will set out third.

٢٥ 25 «رَايَةُ مَحَلَّةِ دَانَ إِلَى ٱلشِّمَالِ حَسَبَ أَجْنَادِهِمْ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي دَانَ أَخِيعَزَرُ بْنُ عَمِّيشَدَّاي،

On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

٢٦ 26 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَانِ وَسِتُّونَ أَلْفًا وَسَبْعُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 62,700.

٢٧ 27 وَٱلنَّازِلُونَ مَعَهُ سِبْطُ أَشِيرَ، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي أَشِيرَ فَجْعِيئِيلُ بْنُ عُكْرَنَ،

The people of the tribe of Asher camp next to Dan. The leader of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran.

٢٨ 28 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفًا وَخَمْسُ مِئَةٍ.

The number in his division is 41,500.

٢٩ 29 وَسِبْطُ نَفْتَالِي، وَٱلرَّئِيسُ لِبَنِي نَفْتَالِي أَخِيرَعُ بْنُ عِينَنَ،

The tribe of Naphtali is next. The leader of Naphthali is Ahira son of Enan.

٣٠ 30 وَجُنْدُهُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْهُمْ ثَلَاثَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ.

The mnumber in his division is 53,400.

٣١ 31 جَمِيعُ ٱلْمَعْدُودِينَ لِمَحَلَّةِ دَانَ مِئَةُ أَلْفٍ وَسَبْعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ أَلْفًا وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ. يَرْتَحِلُونَ أَخِيرًا بِرَايَاتِهِمْ».

All those numbered in the camp with Dan is 157,600. They will go out from the camp last, under their banner.”

٣٢ 32 هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلْمَعْدُودُونَ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ. جَمِيعُ ٱلْمَعْدُودِينَ مِنَ ٱلْمَحَلَّاتِ بِأَجْنَادِهِمْ سِتُّ مِئَةِ أَلْفٍ وَثَلَاثَةُ آلَافٍ وَخَمْسُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسُونَ.

These are the Israelites, numbered according to their families. All those counted in their camps, by their divisions, are 603,550.

٣٣ 33 وَأَمَّا ٱللَّاوِيُّونَ فَلَمْ يُعَدُّوا بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، كَمَا أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى.

But Moses and Aaron did not count the Levites among the people of Israel. This was as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

٣٤ 34 فَفَعَلَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرَ بِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى. هَكَذَا نَزَلُوا بِرَايَاتِهِمْ، وَهَكَذَا ٱرْتَحَلُوا. كُلٌّ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِ مَعَ بَيْتِ آبَائِهِ.

The people of Israel did everything that Yahweh commanded Moses. They camped by their banners. They went out from the camp by their clans, in the order of their ancestor's families.
