اَلْعَدَد 12

١ 1 وَتَكَلَّمَتْ مَرْيَمُ وَهَارُونُ عَلَى مُوسَى بِسَبَبِ ٱلْمَرْأَةِ ٱلْكُوشِيَّةِ ٱلَّتِي ٱتَّخَذَهَا، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَدِ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱمْرَأَةً كُوشِيَّةً.

And she spoke Miriam and Aaron against Moses on [the] causes of the woman Cushite whom he had taken for a woman Cushite he had taken.

٢ 2 فَقَالَا: «هَلْ كَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى وَحْدَهُ؟ أَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْنَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا؟» فَسَمِعَ ٱلرَّبُّ.

And they said ¿ only only by Moses has he spoken Yahweh ¿ not also by us has he spoken and he heard Yahweh.

٣ 3 وَأَمَّا ٱلرَّجُلُ مُوسَى فَكَانَ حَلِيمًا جِدًّا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٱلَّذِينَ عَلَى وَجْهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

And the man Moses ([was] humble *Q(K)*) very more than every person who [was] on [the] surface of the ground.

٤ 4 فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ حَالًا لِمُوسَى وَهَارُونَ وَمَرْيَمَ: «ٱخْرُجُوا أَنْتُمُ ٱلثَّلَاثَةُ إِلَى خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ». فَخَرَجُوا هُمُ ٱلثَّلَاثَةُ.

And he said Yahweh suddenly to Moses and to Aaron and to Miriam come out O [the] three of you to [the] tent of meeting and they went out [the] three of them.

٥ 5 فَنَزَلَ ٱلرَّبُّ فِي عَمُودِ سَحَابٍ وَوَقَفَ فِي بَابِ ٱلْخَيْمَةِ، وَدَعَا هَارُونَ وَمَرْيَمَ فَخَرَجَا كِلَاهُمَا.

And he came down Yahweh in a pillar of cloud and he stood [the] entrance of the tent and he summoned Aaron and Miriam and they went out both of them.

٦ 6 فَقَالَ: «ٱسْمَعَا كَلَامِي. إِنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ نَبِيٌّ لِلرَّبِّ، فَبِالرُّؤْيَا أَسْتَعْلِنُ لَهُ. فِي ٱلْحُلْمِ أُكَلِّمُهُ.

And he said hear please words my if he is prophet of your Yahweh by vision to him I make myself known by a dream I speak with him.

٧ 7 وَأَمَّا عَبْدِي مُوسَى فَلَيْسَ هَكَذَا، بَلْ هُوَ أَمِينٌ فِي كُلِّ بَيْتِي.

Not thus servant my Moses in all house my [is] faithful he.

٨ 8 فَمًا إِلَى فَمٍ وَعَيَانًا أَتَكَلَّمُ مَعَهُ، لَا بِٱلْأَلْغَازِ. وَشِبْهَ ٱلرَّبِّ يُعَايِنُ. فَلِمَاذَا لَا تَخْشَيَانِ أَنْ تَتَكَلَّمَا عَلَى عَبْدِي مُوسَى؟».

Mouth to mouth I speak with him and a vision and not by riddles and [the] form of Yahweh he sees and why? not were you afraid to speak against servant my against Moses.

٩ 9 فَحَمِيَ غَضَبُ ٱلرَّبِّ عَلَيْهِمَا وَمَضَى.

And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on them and he went.

١٠ 10 فَلَمَّا ٱرْتَفَعَتِ ٱلسَّحَابَةُ عَنِ ٱلْخَيْمَةِ إِذَا مَرْيَمُ بَرْصَاءُ كَٱلثَّلْجِ. فَٱلْتَفَتَ هَارُونُ إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَإِذَا هِيَ بَرْصَاءُ.

And the cloud it departed from over the tent and there! Miriam [was] leprous like snow and he turned Aaron to Miriam and there! leprous.

١١ 11 فَقَالَ هَارُونُ لِمُوسَى: «أَسْأَلُكَ يَا سَيِّدِي، لَا تَجْعَلْ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْخَطِيَّةَ ٱلَّتِي حَمِقْنَا وَأَخْطَأْنَا بِهَا.

And he said Aaron to Moses pardon me O lord my do not please may put on us [the] sin which we have acted foolishly and which we have sinned.

١٢ 12 فَلَا تَكُنْ كَٱلْمَيْتِ ٱلَّذِي يَكُونُ عِنْدَ خُرُوجِهِ مِنْ رَحِمِ أُمِّهِ قَدْ أُكِلَ نِصْفُ لَحْمِهِ».

May not please she be like dead [person] whom when came forth he from [the] womb of mother his and it was eaten half of flesh his.

١٣ 13 فَصَرَخَ مُوسَى إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ قَائِلًا: «ٱللَّهُمَّ ٱشْفِهَا».

And he cried out Moses to Yahweh saying O God please heal please her.

١٤ 14 فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «وَلَوْ بَصَقَ أَبُوهَا بَصْقًا فِي وَجْهِهَا، أَمَا كَانَتْ تَخْجَلُ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ؟ تُحْجَزُ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ خَارِجَ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ، وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ تُرْجَعُ».

And he said Yahweh to Moses and father her certainly he had spat in face her ¿ not will she be put to shame seven days she will be shut up seven days from [the] outside of the camp and after she will be received.

١٥ 15 فَحُجِزَتْ مَرْيَمُ خَارِجَ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ، وَلَمْ يَرْتَحِلِ ٱلشَّعْبُ حَتَّى أُرْجِعَتْ مَرْيَمُ.

And she was shut up Miriam from [the] outside of the camp seven days and the people not it set out until was received Miriam.

١٦ 16 وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ٱرْتَحَلَ ٱلشَّعْبُ مِنْ حَضَيْرُوتَ وَنَزَلُوا فِي بَرِّيَّةِ فَارَانَ.

And after they set out the people from Hazeroth and they encamped in [the] wilderness of Paran.
