أَيُّوبَ 25

١ 1 فَأَجَابَ بِلْدَدُ ٱلشُّوحِيُّ وَقَالَ:

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,

٢ 2 «ٱلسُّلْطَانُ وَٱلْهَيْبَةُ عِنْدَهُ. هُوَ صَانِعُ ٱلسَّلَامِ فِي أَعَالِيهِ.

“Dominion and fear are with him; he makes order in his high places of heaven.

٣ 3 هَلْ مِنْ عَدَدٍ لِجُنُودِهِ؟ وَعَلَى مَنْ لَا يُشْرِقُ نُورُهُ؟

Is there any end to the number of his armies? Upon whom does his light not shine?

٤ 4 فَكَيْفَ يَتَبَرَّرُ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ عِنْدَ ٱللهِ؟ وَكَيْفَ يَزْكُو مَوْلُودُ ٱلْمَرْأَةِ؟

How then can man be righteous with God? How can he who is born of a woman be clean, acceptable to him?

٥ 5 هُوَذَا نَفْسُ ٱلْقَمَرِ لَا يُضِيءُ، وَٱلْكَوَاكِبُ غَيْرُ نَقِيَّةٍ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ.

See, even the moon has no brightness to him; the stars are not pure in his sight.

٦ 6 فَكَمْ بِٱلْحَرِيِّ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلرِّمَّةُ، وَٱبْنُ آدَمَ ٱلدُّودُ؟».

How much less man, who is a worm— a son of man, who is a worm!”
