أَيُّوبَ 10

١ 1 «قَدْ كَرِهَتْ نَفْسِي حَيَاتِي. أُسَيِّبُ شَكْوَايَ. أَتَكَلَّمُ فِي مَرَارَةِ نَفْسِي

٢ 2 قَائِلًا لِلهِ: لَا تَسْتَذْنِبْنِي. فَهِّمْنِي لِمَاذَا تُخَاصِمُنِي!

to say to(wards) god not be wicked me to know me upon what? to contend me

٣ 3 أَحَسَنٌ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَظْلِمَ، أَنْ تُرْذِلَ عَمَلَ يَدَيْكَ، وَتُشْرِقَ عَلَى مَشُورَةِ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ؟

٤ 4 أَلَكَ عَيْنَا بَشَرٍ، أَمْ كَنَظَرِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ تَنْظُرُ؟

eye flesh to/for you if: surely no like/as to see: see human to see: see

٥ 5 أَأَيَّامُكَ كَأَيَّامِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ، أَمْ سِنُوكَ كَأَيَّامِ ٱلرَّجُلِ،

like/as day human day your if: surely no year your like/as day: year great man

٦ 6 حَتَّى تَبْحَثَ عَنْ إِثْمِي وَتُفَتِّشَ عَلَى خَطِيَّتِي؟

٧ 7 فِي عِلْمِكَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ مُذْنِبًا، وَلَا مُنْقِذَ مِنْ يَدِكَ.

٨ 8 «يَدَاكَ كَوَّنَتَانِي وَصَنَعَتَانِي كُلِّي جَمِيعًا، أَفَتَبْتَلِعُنِي؟

hand your to shape me and to make me unitedness around and to swallow up me

٩ 9 اُذْكُرْ أَنَّكَ جَبَلْتَنِي كَٱلطِّينِ، أَفَتُعِيدُنِي إِلَى ٱلتُّرَابِ؟

to remember please for like/as clay to make me and to(wards) dust to return: return me

١٠ 10 أَلَمْ تَصُبَّنِي كَٱللَّبَنِ، وَخَثَّرْتَنِي كَٱلْجُبْنِ؟

not like/as milk to pour me and like/as cheese to congeal me

١١ 11 كَسَوْتَنِي جِلْدًا وَلَحْمًا، فَنَسَجْتَنِي بِعِظَامٍ وَعَصَبٍ.

skin and flesh to clothe me and in/on/with bone and sinew to weave me

١٢ 12 مَنَحْتَنِي حَيَاةً وَرَحْمَةً، وَحَفِظَتْ عِنَايَتُكَ رُوحِي.

١٣ 13 لَكِنَّكَ كَتَمْتَ هَذِهِ فِي قَلْبِكَ. عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ هَذَا عِنْدَكَ:

and these to treasure in/on/with heart your to know for this with you

١٤ 14 إِنْ أَخْطَأْتُ تُلَاحِظُنِي وَلَا تُبْرِئُنِي مِنْ إِثْمِي.

١٥ 15 إِنْ أَذْنَبْتُ فَوَيْلٌ لِي، وَإِنْ تَبَرَّرْتُ لَا أَرْفَعُ رَأْسِي. إِنِّي شَبْعَانُ هَوَانًا وَنَاظِرٌ مَذَلَّتِي.

١٦ 16 وَإِنِ ٱرْتَفَعْتُ تَصْطَادُنِي كَأَسَدٍ، ثُمَّ تَعُودُ وَتَتَجَبَّرُ عَلَيَّ.

and to rise up like/as lion to hunt me and to return: again to wonder in/on/with me

١٧ 17 تُجَدِّدُ شُهُودَكَ تُجَاهِي، وَتَزِيدُ غَضَبَكَ عَلَيَّ. نُوبٌ وَجَيْشٌ ضِدِّي.

to renew witness your before me and to multiply vexation your with me me change and army with me

١٨ 18 «فَلِمَاذَا أَخْرَجْتَنِي مِنَ ٱلرَّحِمِ؟ كُنْتُ قَدْ أَسْلَمْتُ ٱلرُّوحَ وَلَمْ تَرَنِي عَيْنٌ!

and to/for what? from womb to come out: produce me to die and eye not to see: see me

١٩ 19 فَكُنْتُ كَأَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ، فَأُقَادَ مِنَ ٱلرَّحِمِ إِلَى ٱلْقَبْرِ.

٢٠ 20 أَلَيْسَتْ أَيَّامِي قَلِيلَةً؟ ٱتْرُكْ! كُفَّ عَنِّي فَأَتَبَلَّجَ قَلِيلًا،

٢١ 21 قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْهَبَ وَلَا أَعُودَ. إِلَى أَرْضِ ظُلْمَةٍ وَظِلِّ ٱلْمَوْتِ،

٢٢ 22 أَرْضِ ظَلَامٍ مِثْلِ دُجَى ظِلِّ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَبِلَا تَرْتِيبٍ، وَإِشْرَاقُهَا كَٱلدُّجَى».
