لَا تَفْرَحْ يَا إِسْرَائِيلُ طَرَبًا كَٱلشُّعُوبِ، لِأَنَّكَ قَدْ زَنَيْتَ عَنْ إِلَهِكَ. أَحْبَبْتَ ٱلْأُجْرَةَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ بَيَادِرِ ٱلْحِنْطَةِ. ١ 1

لَا يُطْعِمُهُمُ ٱلْبَيْدَرُ وَٱلْمِعْصَرَةُ، وَيَكْذِبُ عَلَيْهِمِ ٱلْمِسْطَارُ. ٢ 2

لَا يَسْكُنُونَ فِي أَرْضِ ٱلرَّبِّ، بَلْ يَرْجِعُ أَفْرَايِمُ إِلَى مِصْرَ، وَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلنَّجِسَ فِي أَشُّورَ. ٣ 3
