اَلتَّكْوِينُ 44

١ 1 ثُمَّ أَمَرَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَى بَيْتِهِ قَائِلًا: «ٱمْلَأْ عِدَالَ ٱلرِّجَالِ طَعَامًا حَسَبَ مَا يُطِيقُونَ حِمْلَهُ، وَضَعْ فِضَّةَ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ فِي فَمِ عِدْلِهِ.

and to command [obj] which upon house: home his to/for to say to fill [obj] sack [the] human food like/as as which be able [emph?] to lift: bear and to set: put silver: money man: anyone in/on/with lip sack his

٢ 2 وَطَاسِي، طَاسَ ٱلْفِضَّةِ، تَضَعُ فِي فَمِ عِدْلِ ٱلصَّغِيرِ، وَثَمَنَ قَمْحِهِ». فَفَعَلَ بِحَسَبِ كَلَامِ يُوسُفَ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ.

and [obj] cup my cup [the] silver: money to set: put in/on/with lip sack [the] small: young and [obj] silver: money grain his and to make: do like/as word Joseph which to speak: speak

٣ 3 فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَ ٱلصُّبْحُ ٱنْصَرَفَ ٱلرِّجَالُ هُمْ وَحَمِيرُهُمْ.

٤ 4 وَلَمَّا كَانُوا قَدْ خَرَجُوا مِنَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَلَمْ يَبْتَعِدُوا، قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِلَّذِي عَلَى بَيْتِهِ: «قُمِ ٱسْعَ وَرَاءَ ٱلرِّجَالِ، وَمَتَى أَدْرَكْتَهُمْ فَقُلْ لَهُمْ: لِمَاذَا جَازَيْتُمْ شَرًّا عِوَضًا عَنْ خَيْرٍ؟

٥ 5 أَلَيْسَ هَذَا هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَشْرَبُ سَيِّدِي فِيهِ؟ وَهُوَ يَتَفَاءَلُ بِهِ. أَسَأْتُمْ فِي مَا صَنَعْتُمْ».

٦ 6 فَأَدْرَكَهُمْ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ هَذَا ٱلْكَلَامَ.

٧ 7 فَقَالُوا لَهُ: «لِمَاذَا يَتَكَلَّمُ سَيِّدِي مِثْلَ هَذَا ٱلْكَلَامِ؟ حَاشَا لِعَبِيدِكَ أَنْ يَفْعَلُوا مِثْلَ هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرِ!

٨ 8 هُوَذَا ٱلْفِضَّةُ ٱلَّتِي وَجَدْنَا فِي أَفْوَاهِ عِدَالِنَا رَدَدْنَاهَا إِلَيْكَ مِنْ أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. فَكَيْفَ نَسْرِقُ مِنْ بَيْتِ سَيِّدِكَ فِضَّةً أَوْ ذَهَبًا؟

٩ 9 ٱلَّذِي يُوجَدُ مَعَهُ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَ يَمُوتُ، وَنَحْنُ أَيْضًا نَكُونُ عَبِيدًا لِسَيِّدِي».

١٠ 10 فَقَالَ: «نَعَمِ، ٱلْآنَ بِحَسَبِ كَلَامِكُمْ هَكَذَا يَكُونُ. ٱلَّذِي يُوجَدُ مَعَهُ يَكُونُ لِي عَبْدًا، وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَتَكُونُونَ أَبْرِيَاءَ».

١١ 11 فَٱسْتَعْجَلُوا وَأَنْزَلُوا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ عِدْلَهُ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَفَتَحُوا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ عِدْلَهُ.

١٢ 12 فَفَتَّشَ مُبْتَدِئًا مِنَ ٱلْكَبِيرِ حَتَّى ٱنْتَهَى إِلَى ٱلصَّغِيرِ، فَوُجِدَ ٱلطَّاسُ فِي عِدْلِ بَنْيَامِينَ.

١٣ 13 فَمَزَّقُوا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَحَمَّلَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ عَلَى حِمَارِهِ وَرَجَعُوا إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ.

١٤ 14 فَدَخَلَ يَهُوذَا وَإِخْوَتُهُ إِلَى بَيْتِ يُوسُفَ وَهُوَ بَعْدُ هُنَاكَ، وَوَقَعُوا أَمَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ.

١٥ 15 فَقَالَ لَهُمْ يُوسُفُ: «مَا هَذَا ٱلْفِعْلُ ٱلَّذِي فَعَلْتُمْ؟ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِثْلِي يَتَفَاءَلُ؟»

١٦ 16 فَقَالَ يَهُوذَا: «مَاذَا نَقُولُ لِسَيِّدِي؟ مَاذَا نَتَكَلَّمُ؟ وَبِمَاذَا نَتَبَرَّرُ؟ ٱللهُ قَدْ وَجَدَ إِثْمَ عَبِيدِكَ. هَا نَحْنُ عَبِيدٌ لِسَيِّدِي، نَحْنُ وَٱلَّذِي وُجِدَ ٱلطَّاسُ فِي يَدِهِ جَمِيعًا».

١٧ 17 فَقَالَ: «حَاشَا لِي أَنْ أَفْعَلَ هَذَا! ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلَّذِي وُجِدَ ٱلطَّاسُ فِي يَدِهِ هُوَ يَكُونُ لِي عَبْدًا، وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَٱصْعَدُوا بِسَلَامٍ إِلَى أَبِيكُمْ».

١٨ 18 ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ يَهُوذَا وَقَالَ: «ٱسْتَمِعْ يَا سَيِّدِي. لِيَتَكَلَّمْ عَبْدُكَ كَلِمَةً فِي أُذُنَيْ سَيِّدِي وَلَا يَحْمَ غَضَبُكَ عَلَى عَبْدِكَ، لِأَنَّكَ مِثْلُ فِرْعَوْنَ.

١٩ 19 سَيِّدِي سَأَلَ عَبِيدَهُ قَائِلًا: هَلْ لَكُمْ أَبٌ أَوْ أَخٌ؟

٢٠ 20 فَقُلْنَا لِسَيِّدِي: لَنَا أَبٌ شَيْخٌ، وَٱبْنُ شَيْخُوخَةٍ صَغِيرٌ، مَاتَ أَخُوهُ وَبَقِيَ هُوَ وَحْدَهُ لِأُمِّهِ، وَأَبُوهُ يُحِبُّهُ.

and to say to(wards) lord my there to/for us father old and youth extreme age small and brother: male-sibling his to die and to remain he/she/it to/for alone him to/for mother his and father his to love: lover him

٢١ 21 فَقُلْتَ لِعَبِيدِكَ: ٱنْزِلُوا بِهِ إِلَيَّ فَأَجْعَلَ نَظَرِي عَلَيْهِ.

and to say to(wards) servant/slave your to go down him to(wards) me and to set: make eye my upon him

٢٢ 22 فَقُلْنَا لِسَيِّدِي: لَا يَقْدِرُ ٱلْغُلَامُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَ أَبَاهُ، وَإِنْ تَرَكَ أَبَاهُ يَمُوتُ.

and to say to(wards) lord my not be able [the] youth to/for to leave: forsake [obj] father his and to leave: forsake [obj] father his and to die

٢٣ 23 فَقُلْتَ لِعَبِيدِكَ: إِنْ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ أَخُوكُمُ ٱلصَّغِيرُ مَعَكُمْ لَا تَعُودُوا تَنْظُرُونَ وَجْهِي.

and to say to(wards) servant/slave your if: until not to go down brother: male-sibling your [the] small: young with you not to add: again [emph?] to/for to see: see face my

٢٤ 24 فَكَانَ لَمَّا صَعِدْنَا إِلَى عَبْدِكَ أَبِي أَنَّنَا أَخْبَرْنَاهُ بِكَلَامِ سَيِّدِي.

and to be for to ascend: rise to(wards) servant/slave your father my and to tell to/for him [obj] word lord my

٢٥ 25 ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُونَا: ٱرْجِعُوا ٱشْتَرُوا لَنَا قَلِيلًا مِنَ ٱلطَّعَامِ.

and to say father our to return: again to buy grain to/for us little food

٢٦ 26 فَقُلْنَا: لَا نَقْدِرُ أَنْ نَنْزِلَ، وَإِنَّمَا إِذَا كَانَ أَخُونَا ٱلصَّغِيرُ مَعَنَا نَنْزِلُ، لِأَنَّنَا لَا نَقْدِرُ أَنْ نَنْظُرَ وَجْهَ ٱلرَّجُلِ وَأَخُونَا ٱلصَّغِيرُ لَيْسَ مَعَنَا.

and to say not be able to/for to go down if there brother: male-sibling our [the] small: young with us and to go down for not be able to/for to see: see face [the] man and brother: male-sibling our [the] small: young nothing he with us

٢٧ 27 فَقَالَ لَنَا عَبْدُكَ أَبِي: أَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱمْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ لِي ٱثْنَيْنِ،

٢٨ 28 فَخَرَجَ ٱلْوَاحِدُ مِنْ عِنْدِي، وَقُلْتُ: إِنَّمَا هُوَ قَدِ ٱفْتُرِسَ ٱفْتِرَاسًا، وَلَمْ أَنْظُرْهُ إِلَى ٱلْآنَ.

٢٩ 29 فَإِذَا أَخَذْتُمْ هَذَا أَيْضًا مِنْ أَمَامِ وَجْهِي وَأَصَابَتْهُ أَذِيَّةٌ، تُنْزِلُونَ شَيْبَتِي بِشَرٍّ إِلَى ٱلْهَاوِيَةِ. (Sheol h7585)

٣٠ 30 فَٱلْآنَ مَتَى جِئْتُ إِلَى عَبْدِكَ أَبِي، وَٱلْغُلَامُ لَيْسَ مَعَنَا، وَنَفْسُهُ مُرْتَبِطَةٌ بِنَفْسِهِ،

٣١ 31 يَكُونُ مَتَى رَأَى أَنَّ ٱلْغُلَامَ مَفْقُودٌ، أَنَّهُ يَمُوتُ، فَيُنْزِلُ عَبِيدُكَ شَيْبَةَ عَبْدِكَ أَبِينَا بِحُزْنٍ إِلَى ٱلْهَاوِيَةِ، (Sheol h7585)

and to be like/as to see: see he for nothing [the] youth and to die and to go down servant/slave your [obj] greyheaded servant/slave your father our in/on/with sorrow hell: Sheol [to] (Sheol h7585)

٣٢ 32 لِأَنَّ عَبْدَكَ ضَمِنَ ٱلْغُلَامَ لِأَبِي قَائِلًا: إِنْ لَمْ أَجِئْ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ أَصِرْ مُذْنِبًا إِلَى أَبِي كُلَّ ٱلْأَيَّامِ.

for servant/slave your to pledge [obj] [the] youth from from with father my to/for to say if not to come (in): bring him to(wards) you and to sin to/for father my all [the] day

٣٣ 33 فَٱلْآنَ لِيَمْكُثْ عَبْدُكَ عِوَضًا عَنِ ٱلْغُلَامِ، عَبْدًا لِسَيِّدِي، وَيَصْعَدِ ٱلْغُلَامُ مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِ.

٣٤ 34 لِأَنِّي كَيْفَ أَصْعَدُ إِلَى أَبِي وَٱلْغُلَامُ لَيْسَ مَعِي؟ لِئَلَّا أَنْظُرَ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱلَّذِي يُصِيبُ أَبِي».
